Popped in last Sunday for a quick lunch with my girls at Factory House in East Windsor. Newly renovated and great exterior and interior appearance. The waitress was friendly and wasn't overbearing which is always nice. My daughter loved the Haddock and chips and my wife really enjoyed the Factory Crispy Chicken & Bacon Wrap and house salad. Big marks for those two dishes! Unfortunately, the Reuben Grill was disappointing. It reminded me of a plain deli sandwich. Maybe I just have high expectations when it comes to "Montreal style smoked beef brisket" but the meat was like some deli meat and not brisket. I'd recommend that they put some work into that sandwich or remove it from the menu. Despite that we'll return for another family outing as the rest of the food was very good and we like to support restaurants in our neighborhood!

Supposed to be cream of broccoli. The soup looked like mashed potatoes, I could taste the raw flour in it.

Wanted this place to be good. Daughter got a wrap and cream of broccoli soup, the waitress said the soup would be a minute behind the wrap which is okay, a different lady brought out the soup and said that it wasn't thick enough and that's why it was a minute behind. The soup looked like mashed potatoes, I could taste the raw flour in it.

Went to this place on a Friday night and enjoyed some of the freshest and tastiest food I've had in a while from a restaurant! The atmosphere was calm and chill, the tables and floor and washrooms were super clean and the new renovation looked awesome. However, the level of service received was quite poor I must say. I'm hoping this is specific to the one server we had, and benign as a Friday prime dinner time I can understand a little bit... but it took around 10 minutes just for our drink order to be taken, and another 20 for our food order to be taken - by someone who wasn't our server. Our server didn't apologize once for the delay either. Luckily we weren't in a rush, but it's just not the level of service we had expected from this place. I'm hoping next time will be better - I had the Asian stir fry and it was absolutely perfect! Looking forward to having their burgers and homemade buns!

chicken wrap - wanted to add avocado so they sent me some guacamole - was okay. Fries are bomb.

New renovations and new name from The Leaf restaurant. I believe it is the same owners which is great because they have some awesome menu items, in addition to new ones. They have added a little bit of everything, including options like Butter Chicken, or Korean Beef Stew. We had a pulled pork sandwich -which was amazing- with thanksgiving dinner soup (yes. You read that correctly. It's basically an entire turkey dinner in a soup. So good!) and a chicken wrap. I really disliked my chicken wrap - the tenders were dry and there was not enough ranch or hot sauce to make up for that. The fries are awesome though so that saved it. The beer options are all local/craft which I think is fabulous. Overall - we will be back, but will order something else. I want to try the butter chicken!

Great food. Amazing service and a very comfortable dining atmosphere. We went on a sat night and the even had good live music that was not loud.

Matter of Taste

Been here twice for breakfast, and was less than impressed both times…read more First off, they really need to have more tables just for two. All tables seem to be for four or more. We witnessed another couple either moving, or being moved from table to table 3 times! On our second visit, we went with three adults, two children, and many tables of 4-6 were occupied by two people, we had to wait but not terribly long. Anyways, the service is very meh. I was very surprised this last time when I asked to substitute ham for peameal bacon, and the waitress said they won't do it. Even offered to pay more. Nope! Our waitress actually seemed to abandon us mid meal, never offering water refills. Luckily, other waitresses came over for coffee. The breakfast is meh too. The hollandaise sauce looks like it comes from a packet. It is disturbingly uniform and fake looking. Taste is no better. Gf had a shell in her eggs (it happens). My peameal was not tender at all, everything just not worth it. Not terrible but there's better spots. Ps-This is the location where I had one of the worst meals ever when it was Thai Palace (now across the street). Maybe it's cursed? It's also oddly attached to an off-track horse racing betting shop. That's a bad trifecta

What a huge disappointment. There was not a lot of guests eating when got there. Our waiter came by once to take our drink orders. Two waters, ice tea, and one coffee. After waiting which seemed longer then normal we offer to give our lunch orders. We got our drinks and we not check on again had to ask the manager twice for refills and for bread and butter twice! After 40 minutes waiter brought our food. Again no refills when finished we found our own Togo boxes. And ask another waitress to cash us out! Beautiful place but we will not be back!

We were seated promptly and our server was very attentive and friendly. The reason we chose Kelsey's was because were a group of 8 and this place had a dish that we can all pick without going somewhere else. This location is in a large plaza with ample parking and the decor is nice, clean and modern. They also have lots of seating and a bar section too. The menu contains lots of dishes with high calorie content but that's not really surprising at Kelsey's. I decided to go with the Thai Shrimp Curry Bowl. As expected, the dish was just okay. The noodles were over cooked and the curry was a bit bland. Shrimps were good though. Concept is good but the execution is very poor. That's the same issue I have with places like Jack Astor and Milestones. Instead of the main dishes, I would come for drinks and appetizers instead. The bar area is really nice and seems like a good place for a date or just grab drinks. I added the half of star for our server who was funny and made our night by telling us about his encounter from the US border patrol trying to go to Detroit. You know what you get coming to Kelsey's so no recommendation needed. #23 of 2018

I haven't been to Kelsey's since they did a revamp of their entire restaurant and menu. This location also used to be a Casey's when this building was first built. For a chain restaurant, I still get surprised to see how busy it gets. Our waitress ended up coming around to let us know she was just finishing up with a table and would be right with us for our drink orders. Which was fine, and letting us know was great, and not leaving us in the dark waiting for someone to come around. For our main courses, I ordered a chicken caesar wrap, as did my friend, and the waitress suggested that we can put the honey garlic sauce on the chicken, and I thought that would taste delicious so I did, and then I ordered sweet potato fries as a side. The food didn't take long to come out at all, the usual 10 to 15 minute wait after ordering. Our waitress was also on top of topping off our waters and asking if we needed anything. Our food came out and it was good. It was a really good choice to have honey garlic sauce on my chicken caesar wrap. The chicken wasn't dry at all, there was a great amount of caesar salad dressing in the wrap, and the tortilla wrap wasn't dry at all; it was basically the most delicious thing I could have ordered from there. The fries were great. Then we ordered dessert. For dessert I split the brownie pops with my sister with the peanut butter sauce. SO GOOD. Then again, anything deep fried is. The peanut butter sauce was sweet and added a nice sweet kick to the pops. I tried some of my friends ice cream cookie sandwich. The cookie was super rich and tasted like cookie dough. SO GOOD. The overall experience was good. The restaurant was busy, so it was pretty loud when we were there, which was around 6:30 to 8:30, and then it started to die down a bit. The washrooms were fairly clean, the floors were a bit sticky. This restaurant also had live music playing the bar area, which was great to make it feel like a local bar and grill kind of vibes.
