Took my Mother-in-law here for Mother's Day and had a lovely experience. A trendy little spot that boasts about fresh ingredients and supporting local. Both our waitresses were very attentive and anticipated our needs throughout the meal. One of the girls was new and in training and she did an exceptional job. The food was quite good, my only complaint is that it was on the expensive side for burgers. I had the lamb burger which was delicious, with a Caesar salad (a tad too much dressing on the salad) My husband had the Factory Burger with fries, and my MIL had the French dip. Everything tasted amazing, and there were quite a few things we wanted to try, so I have a feeling we will be back when we visit her again. Definitely worth the stop. read more

The food is great but the service was really bad when we went in. First, they took the order of the group who came in after us. Then there were a lot of people so a server took our forks so others can have them. When our entrees came in, we didn't have forks. So we asked our server. She gave us dirty forks - dirty meaning food was stuck on them. Throughout dinner there were other things I could complain about. They really have to screen their staff more. Popped in last Sunday for a quick lunch with my girls at Factory House in East Windsor. Newly renovated and great exterior and interior appearance. The waitress was friendly and wasn't overbearing which is always nice. My daughter loved the Haddock and chips and my wife really enjoyed the Factory Crispy Chicken & Bacon Wrap and house salad. Big marks for those two dishes! Unfortunately, the Reuben Grill was disappointing. It reminded me of a plain deli sandwich. Maybe I just have high expectations when it comes to "Montreal style smoked beef brisket" but the meat was like some deli meat and not brisket. I'd recommend that they put some work into that sandwich or remove it from the menu. Despite that we'll return for another family outing as the rest of the food was very good and we like to support restaurants in our neighborhood! read more

Three of us popped in for lunch on a Tuesday. The place was fairly busy, which usually indicates either great food, decent prices or great service. We were greeted at the door and asked if we prefer a booth or table, then immediately brought to our table. Initial thoughts were that the place could use an upgrade..,the leather on several booths was ripped, worn, and not in good shape. However, seeing as that the industry is recovering from covid shutdowns, you have to overlook certain things, Our waitress was over fairly quickly and took our drink order. Upon returning with our drinks, we ordered. Food was out in a reasonable time. I ordered the grilled chicken clubhouse on a foccacia bun, with a side of fries. The sandwich was good, not great. Considering the chicken was in what appeared to be a bbq sauce, it was pretty bland, I would not reorder it if I returned. Dining companion # 2 ordered a chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. She liked the dipping sauce and found it had a nice heat to it. Portion size was good. She enjoyed her meal. Dining companion #3 ordered the beef dip with a side of fries. It looked great and he was very happy with it. I would consider ordering it if I return, Service was just ok...,I sat with an empty pop glass in front of me and was never asked if I wanted a refill. Another of our group (who ordered a tea) had to ask for more hot water...none was offered although her cup was empty. So it's the small things that prevented a higher rating. Wanted this place to be good. Daughter got a wrap and cream of broccoli soup, the waitress said the soup would be a minute behind the wrap which is okay, a different lady brought out the soup and said that it wasn't thick enough and that's why it was a minute behind. The soup looked like mashed potatoes, I could taste the raw flour in it. read more

Went to this place on a Friday night and enjoyed some of the freshest and tastiest food I've had in a while from a restaurant! The atmosphere was calm and chill, the tables and floor and washrooms were super clean and the new renovation looked awesome. However, the level of service received was quite poor I must say. I'm hoping this is specific to the one server we had, and benign as a Friday prime dinner time I can understand a little bit... but it took around 10 minutes just for our drink order to be taken, and another 20 for our food order to be taken - by someone who wasn't our server. Our server didn't apologize once for the delay either. Luckily we weren't in a rush, but it's just not the level of service we had expected from this place. I'm hoping next time will be better - I had the Asian stir fry and it was absolutely perfect! Looking forward to having their burgers and homemade buns! read more

New renovations and new name from The Leaf restaurant. I believe it is the same owners which is great because they have some awesome menu items, in addition to new ones. They have added a little bit of everything, including options like Butter Chicken, or Korean Beef Stew. We had a pulled pork sandwich -which was amazing- with thanksgiving dinner soup (yes. You read that correctly. It's basically an entire turkey dinner in a soup. So good!) and a chicken wrap. I really disliked my chicken wrap - the tenders were dry and there was not enough ranch or hot sauce to make up for that. The fries are awesome though so that saved it. The beer options are all local/craft which I think is fabulous. Overall - we will be back, but will order something else. I want to try the butter chicken! read more

Factory House, formally known as the Leaf, before that The Maple Leaf; this restaurant had a recent name change and upgrade. We came last night to celebrate my boyfriend's best friend's birthday. We went around 8:30 at night and walked in and were seated right away, bonus, we got a booth. We were handed our menus and right away the waitress came up and took our drink orders. There are a slew of local craft beers on tap. It's amazing to see local places promote local beer. For starters we had the Red Pepper & Spinach Dip and the Calamari, the dip for it was delicious as we devoured everything. For our main meals, I ordered the fish & chips, I don't like fries, so I should of have those substituted for sweet potato fries instead. My boyfriend ordered the Mushroom & Spinach Gnocchi, he said it was good, a bit too much salt though, and our friend ordered the Factory House Burger, nice thin patty topped with the toppings on the brioche bun and it looked good. Overall it was a good experience with excellent service, the waiters were on top of everything, refilling our waters, to asking if we needed another drink or anything else. The food was good, just a bit on the salty side. I had heard they had Pad Thai, but the menu must've changed. It's a nice place basically around the corner from where we live to have a good burger and a drink with company. read more

Went tonight for the first time. A bit disappointed. We ordered a Long Island Iced tea have to say it was very good. For supper had the smoked provolone burger wasn't very hot but tasted good. My wife had the chicken parmesan. The chicken was ok had. The pasta was not al dente but almost firm and the sauce was bland and you could tell it had sat in the window for more than a few minutes it was dry on the pasta . Took almost half an hour for our order to arrive which was rather disappointing and no notice from waiter for the wait. I have no problem with a wait but tell me pls my wife would have ordered another drink but hey their loss and his loss of a some of his tip. Overall a 5 out of 10 read more

I took my mom here for a birthday lunch. The owner of this restaurant has 2 other restaurants that I love to visit with fabulous food. My mom ordered fish and chips as one of the other restaurants are known for the fish and chips. Fries were 10/10. Tartar sauce and coleslaw 2/10. The batter was mushy and the fish terrible . I've been here a few times for dinner and left very happy each time but this past visit on Saturday March 24th was above and beyond my expectations so I felt it was necessary to leave a review to reflect that. Our waiter Nick was seriously amazing and made our whole experience complete. I visited this time with my parents who had never been before and they were so happy with the overall experience. They both had The Factory Burger with fries and I had the Indian Butter Chicken. We also split a slice of the dessert special which was a chocolate stout cake with baileys cream sauce. Food was excellent and the service was top notch. Nick was so attentive, friendly and warm. In my opinion, one of the best servers I've ever had the pleasure of meeting (and I go out a lot!). The staff here always knocks it out of the park and the food has never let me down. Definitely a place you don't want to miss in Windsor. read more

Great food, great atmosphere! Found Factory House, late on a Sunday night when other places were closed, and it was a happy coincidence! Our group had a range of things from the menu - sandwiches, burgers, pasta and fish, even an item from the kids menu - and everything was delish. Appreciate the local sourcing of much of the food, the good on-tap beer selection, and great service. A new place in town, and the waitress mentioned that the patio would be open by Father's Day. I don't mind the wait if I'm informed by the server but I was never asked if I wanted anything while waiting for my dinner or informed that it may take a little longer to get my meal.
