Food was bland, service was poor as we were there about 3:00 with one person doing waitstaff, seating and bartending.

Loud. steak was raw, and the size was a lie. Too expensive. Disgrace to the applebees franchise.

Overall decent meal but with few hits and misses. Salad portion was huge and loved the variety of vegetables. Chicken wonton tasted too sweet. The mean course steak was cooked different Ly even though both of us ordered medium rare, one was close to well done, it became too chewy. This is exactly what you would expect at a chain that's trying to hard. The menu looks great, but the execution just didn't do it for me. I ordered a Thai salad with grilled shrimp. My salad looked like soup. I have never seen so much dressing on an entree salad in my life. My boyfriend has the teriyaki stir fry and has the same problem. Visited last Sunday night. The place was packed and we opted for seating on the "bar" side of the restaurant. This meant that the male bartender was our server. After a nominal wait (less than 5 minutes) we were seated. Our server was excellent. He quickly approached the table, asked if we had ever dined here before and asked if we had any questions, took our drink order and returned within a reasonable time frame. Our orders were taken. We opted for a dinner combo for 2 for $30. This got one appetizer and 2 main courses. Appetizer was a chipotle dip with nachos. Nice bit of heat in it, although it could have been a bit stronger in flavour, but the place is pandering to the masses. One of us had shrimp and loved it. I opted for a maple glazed steak...bumping it up from 2 oz for only $3. It was excellent. A third dining companion opted for a mac and cheese that had chicken fingers and a ton of bacon in it. Visited this Applebee's which was next to my hotel after a late flight and found I was the only one in the restaurant. Hesitant to remind inside. Joe the bartender who greeted me, assured me it was not a problem and the kitchen was still open. (I believe that was his name). Joe was extremely friendly and recommended the buffalo chicken sandwich which was excellent. Pros. Clean. Good and quickly served Sandwich. Above average establishment. Awesome bartender Joe. Cons. Friday night and I was the only one in the restaurant. Bit strange. I've never ate at an establishment that had 0 other customers inside. 3.5 / 5. We went here on a Friday night late so service was slow and noise level was high. Our waitress was friendly and appeared to be interested in taking our order and wondering why we were visiting Windsor. Although we had a short wait for the food due to the capacity crowd, ( always a sign of good food) the food was exactly as we ordered and was even better than I had expected with the large crowd. We felt pleased that we had been given proper service and had gotten good value for what we ordered. read more

I will never eat here again! I was served a burger that was completely raw. When the manager came to the table he offered to cook the burger for me, but I politely declined because I was so turned off by taking a bite of cold raw meat that I was no longer hungry. The manager, who appeared as though he had just woken up from a 10 day booze binge (and smelt like it too), grabbed the plate and said "suit yourself" and walked away. I went today with my aunt, I had the mozzarella sticks, they were ok, not fantastic, I then got the chicken wings, first of all I ordered them with Sriracha sause, litirally only 3 or them had sause, and even the waitress brand me more sause cause she seen they did a terrible job and sausing them up, half way into my meal I see that in the middle of one of my chicken wings, that it was pink and I do not RECALL ASKING FOR MY CHICKEN WINGS RARE!! Biggest prudes ever run the bar here. They will only serve 1 drink an hour per person. Two of us ordered a beer and cosmo and 2 shots - they brought the shots only and said we had to shoot them first, then they could bring our beer and cosmo in an hour. first time in apple bee's. we got the trio appetizer, calamari and spinach dip were pretty good. For the mains, hubby had steak and shrimp, mom had shrimp alfredo, and dad had the shrimp stir fry. The food was kind of mediocre, nothing too great, stir fry was very salty/sour/sweet/confusing. don't think i'll visit again any time soon. read more

Cheap food is exactly that, although this food is not cheap but it looks like it. Got the lunch soup 1/2 sandwich combo. I could basically drink the soup in 1 gulp (since it was luke warm and a 6 ounces, eat the tiny sandwich in 2 bites, and get charged $15 after you buy a drink and pay taxes. Rediculous. Not too impressed with their garbage dinner menu either. Will not go back to Applebee. read more

Food is pretty good. Definitely wouldn't say it's the best but it's pretty darn good. Portions are perfect size and fill you up. If ur sitting outside on the patio the waiters don't come and check on you as much as they would inside but the waiters/waitresses are really nice and funny. Fun and friendly environment also!!!! read more

if i could rate this place -100 stars i would and usually it would be about how measly portioned the food is but thats for another topic this review is about the SHITTY CUSTOMER SERVICE at this specific location because ive been to other locations that had a decent set up and everything was fine but wow not only was my waitress airheaded but her manager was despicable i ordered for my kids from the kids menu and the manager was implying that my kid was too old when he is only 11? i let it slide but when it came time to actually eating my food was minimal to say the least and basic like it came from a frozen bag which im sure it did...if i could fire every single one of these employees i would in a heartbeat (minus the one curly haired waitress who saw us distraught and tried to comfort us) but wow i've never seen an ENTIRE staff be so rude like i know this is not a high-end cuisine but respect is COMMON COURTESY read more
