rhinoplasty / septoplasty done by Drs Hershcovitch.
    Amir A.

I had rhinoplasty & minor septoplasty about 1 year and 2 months ago. I'm very satisfied with my natural looking nose and the whole process from pre-op to post op. Swelling went down significantly by the 3rd month. Nasal rinsing helped alot this post care . Prior to choosing Dr H. I had consulted with big name "showy" doctors in LA , West Hollywood, Beverly Hills , Glendale all touting they were the best. I asked my dermatologist at the time for a recommended specialist for rhinoplasty for men. A lot of those other doctors are general plastic surgeons that work on body parts and face and aren't specialized. So the best work they'll ever do is on the body parts they work on the most it could be breast, face or butt lifts . Not to mention some of those doctors just give everyone the same looking nose. Dr H. Isn't a doctor that likes to put on an act on social media or is desperate to be featured on the doctors tv show and other programs like that. He doesn't even do any marketing and that says a lot. When you have satisfied happy customers you don't need to overly market your business. I've even had my brother in law go to him for turbinate reduction from an old nasal infection he's had for 7 years. The new people I've met didn't even know I had work done , that's how natural it looked . I had my hump shaved down, nostrils resized, overall nose retracted back in since my nose was too pushed out and my septum straightened out since I also had breathing issues on top of wanting a cosmetic change. The cost was very reasonable affordable and well worth all the things he did. Mind you he's double board certified so he specializes in ENT (ear nose & throat) conditions. I checked and consulted with popular doctors charging astronomical amounts of money up to $30,000 for a rhinoplasty (not including septoplasty or other minor changes to nostrils etc ) some of those doctors have had their patients featured on the show Botched Yikes! Dr H. Actually quoted me a range over the phone before I even had a consultation. Then after consultation I got my quote and the quote was on the lower side of the telephoned quote. Not that I would try to even get a discount on a procedure on my face but it's nice to have top quality from a double board certified doctor at the amazing price I paid . It was so worth it , wish I went sooner! Thank you Dr. H I'm very happy with my nose !!

Dr. Shervin Aminpour is absolutely amazing! He has been my doctor for years. He performed sinus…read moresurgery on me and after having a 95% deviated septum, with chronic sinus infections, I could finally breathe! Dr. Aminpour performed a tonsillectomy on our daughter too. Then in May of this year my husband was diagnosed with skin cancer on his nose by a Dermatologist. The Dermatologist said they should be able to close the incision, but the doctor was not a cosmetic surgeon and this was his face! So I immediately thought of Dr. Aminpour because I knew he specializes in noses being an ENT and that he was a cosmetic surgeon. I called Dr. Aminpour's office and spoke to his amazing office manager, Iris, and she made an appointment for my husband to come right in. She also coordinated the whole surgery and navigated so the timing was right going from the Dermatologist to remove the skin cancer and then to Dr. Aminpour to close the incision. When we got to Dr. Aminpour's office after the cancer removal, he was so surprised how large the area was, but he immediately knew what to do. He took my husband into surgery, and he had to totally reconstruct my husband's nose. Dr. Aminpour guided us through the whole process and let us know what to expect from the healing process. Dr. Aminpour told us to trust him and that it was going to look great and not to worry. It took 3-4 months, but it completely healed and looks like his old nose! We are so thankful to Dr. Aminpour and feel we are so blessed that he is our doctor. Nobody else could have done what he did. He is a miracle worker! I highly recommend Dr. Aminpour for his knowledge, expertise, and kindness he shows his patients. His whole office staff is amazing and it is a reflection of him.

He mentioned I have a deviated septum but offered no solution. Saw me for maybe 7 minutes in total while the staff in the main lobby were preoccupied and rude as can be. Since then I've had the same issues with my breathing and throat pain. I could have easily just asked Google ai for better solutions than this supposed specialist. I asked him if it's a possible symptom of long COVID since I got it bad in the summer and my condition has since worsened and he had no response, no explanation, just a quick let me take this guys money and get him out of here as soon as possible scenario. Now I'm home once again with the same aggressive throat pains and I don't know if I trust any of these physicians to properly diagnose me. "Your throat is red". You don't say! I could have come to that realization on my own, give me a solution, tell me how to mitigate it, offer me options on deviated septum care/repair/surgery. Nope, none of that. Deserved 1 star. The quality of physicians has severely been degrading year over year.

One of the tests I had, a caloric vestibular test, physically hurt so badly because of my narrow ear canals that I was crying, and the person administering it made no noticeable effort to decrease my discomfort on the next three times she put the device in my ear. I understand that the test is disorienting, that is the point of it, but I can't imagine the patient is supposed to be crying in physical pain during it. I have no idea what the results of my tests are, because when I found out they wanted to charge me to find the results of the test. They said they'd email me the results, but they never did. My intake was also done Wall-E style, where I sat in a chair in an empty room and they wheeled in iPad with someone offsite, which was a surreal and impersonal experience. The front desk staff were unfriendly about scheduling, rude about me not being available at appointment times that worked for them. The medical staff felt pretty dismissive. If I need to see an ENT again, I will be avoiding this chain.
