I did not have a good experience here. I asked for information on reducing acne after my facial and…read moreit was not made clear that I would be charged an extra roughly $100 (I don't remember the exact amount), just to be told about a regimen that I did not end up wanting to do, and they wouldn't even let me keep the papers with the info. That is honestly ridiculous to be charged an extra $100 on top of the outrageously expensive appointment and laughably not even get to keep the papers. It was not made clear beforehand at all that I would be charged for it. Edit: To be clear, my "outrageous" comment is in regards to the original appointment, NOT the consultation I seemingly received AFTERWARDS. I feel that the services are overpriced, but that is not the reason I am making this review. Nor am I arguing whether or not it was a consultation, or what is the correct term to use for the regimen handout. I am stating that it was NOT made clear that that was what was happening or that I would be charged for it. The whole point is that I was unaware it was a "full consultation." I highly recommend improving communication at this establishment. In summary, I never booked a consultation, nor did I ask for one, and there was most certainly miscommunication on the part of the employees. I did not make the realization until I was charged for it, and at the time did not know how to advocate for myself, so I simply paid and left, but that was not fair to myself. Hence, this review.

I also want to give a big shoutout to the team for helping my teenage daughter. She had a pretty serious acne problem when we first came in, and now her skin looks clear and healthy. It made such a difference for her confidence, and I'm really grateful for that. I definitely recommend this place to anyone--whether you're an adult looking to take care of your skin or a teen struggling with acne. The service is always professional, friendly, and most importantly, it gets real results.

In only two visits, Sook has visibly healed and restored my skin to glowing, even-toned, nearly acne-free conditions. Sook is very honest about her practice and the knowledge she shares. She is gentle with the skin, careful to not cause scarring or hurt her clients. She knows what will improve your skin and what won't, and works well within these boundaries. Before you leave, make sure to check out her skincare line! If you think you can achieve great skin with facials and no maintenance, you're setting yourself up for failure. She carries effective upscale products that are super affordable (I'm a student). It's obvious that she has a lot of loyal regular clients for all of her services and I noticed that she even has several male clients that get facials. Although my skin is in fairly good condition, I do have some pores that have congestion. I was a bit reluctant to try but since I trust Nancy and she's gotten great reviews, I decided to get a facial. I have no idea why I assumed only women got them but I did. Since it was my first time I asked Nancy to let me know what she was doing as she went along. Every step of the process, Nancy explained what she was doing and why. She even told me about the products she was using. I really enjoyed that and appreciated the extra effort. Not only does she take good care of your skin she adds a shoulder, neck and arm massage to really complete the overall experience. I couldn't believe how smooth my skin felt right after my facial but also for days to follow. It was very refreshing, relaxing and my pores were clear. The facial was definitely beyond my expectations so I was extremely pleased. I will definitely continue to get facials in addition to getting my regular massage therapy sessions. Nancy's amazing service and super friendly demeanor is an awesome combination. Add the fact that she uses only high quality products makes seeing her a must!

Nancy let me know she provides massage services as well. Despite expressing I'm happy with my massage therapist, she spent the entire appointment prying about him (location, experience, etc) in what seemed like an attempt to convince me she is better. Even when the subject changed, she repeatedly came back to it. 3) She prides herself on including a complimentary neck and upper back massage as a part of the facial (mentioned it to me on the phone and text). However, when I requested more pressure during the massage portion, she became defensive and said, "This is a facial, not a massage" and that I should schedule a massage if that's what I want. I did not feel like my muscles were massaged at all. If you're going to include a massage of your own accord, why be so defensive when the client makes a request regarding pressure? It was uncomfortable. 4) I got two dark spots on my face where Nancy did extractions. This has never happened before. I texted to ask about it and she insinuated it's because I'm Indian and Indian women tend to have hyperpigmentation in general... despite my saying I've never had this issue. Overall, I did not feel she was professional or knowledgeable and did not appreciate her attitude. Giving 2 stars because the products seem like high quality.
