I have been seeing Natasha for a few years now. My friend recommended her for threading a natural brow shape. And she was right! Natasha does a fantastic job of understanding your face shape and your brow, hair growth, and threading your brows accordingly. They look natural on me and they grow out very well. Eventually, I decided to try microdermabrasion with her. She has done wonders with my 11's! And from there, I slowly ventured into what she calls baby peels (lower %, botanical based peels). She was very patient with me and discussed with me my thresholds for "skin peeling". I very much appreciate her attention to detail, how well she "reads" skin, and the quality of products she uses. She goes out of her way to explain what she's doing and how it should benefit me, what to expect after, and what the after care is. She will additionally check in after a few days to see how your skin is doing and provide tips. I come to Natasha every month to get my eyebrows threaded and now that it's been almost a year I feel like I can confidently say Natasha is the best threader I've gone to. I have brows on the thicker and fuller side for an Asian girl. I've gone to so many different threaders in the past and they always threaded them so thin even though I specified I wanted to keep them thick and ask for a natural look. And on top of that it was so painful every time that my stomach was literally churning and clenching every time. So much that I was starting to think this was normal and my pain tolerance was just low. I was so wanting to like Spool Me Rotten because its right behind my work in walking distance but my experience with Natasha was unfortunately so appalling and abrasive. It was great that I was able to come in pretty last minutes last night for my eyebrows/upper lip but my experience was so wretched. Natasha went on and on about how long she's been in business (7 years) and how long she's been threading (over 19 yrs) and kept insulting my past threading experiences and the current state of my eyebrows. Jeez. She mentioned that her method of threading is very "natural" and she doesn't shape people's eyebrows and this method takes about 6-8 months to become accustom to. So essentially there is no room for me to comment on how I liked my eyebrows. She did ask if she was offending me and didn't mean to insult me because she's really honest about her business. Probably not the ideal situation to be in with a paying customer. She also said her method is not for everyone- definitely not for me. Luckily my eyebrows were not butchered and were cleaned up although there were hairs sticking out and stray hairs that are more part of the "natural" look. Since it was $14+$3 for tip= $17 for my bad experience- no harm no foul- I'll never go back. I prefer to go further to be treated more humanly and to have eyebrows that I don't have to fix on my own later. read more

So baaaack (and I mean way back) in the day when I used to get my brows threaded, I had no idea how to tell who did a good job and when I had a wack thread job until one day I had them sheared off by an inexperienced threader. Ever since then, I've been SUPER cautious about who I go to and what they're all about. I did my research and a referral from a few friends, I decided to provide Spool Me Rotten an opportunity. For the past 3/4 months, Natasha personally helps me grow and re-shape my eyebrows to look more defined. I am almost in the home stretch of having a better-looking eyebrow, where I wouldn't even need to fill it in anymore!!!
