You shouldn't have to tip for services you ended up performing on yourself. I'm very unhappy with the manager's attitude. The constant stream of calls and texts has become a real nuisance. I've had facials done before and this was the most painful one yet. I know I spent more than half hour with this tech, but felt rushed and left hanging when her next client arrived. Was handed the skin regimen, post care instructions, took my payment and that was that. I know during the treatment we had talked about post-care, but wasn't sure if we were to go over it again so they could potentially sell some of their products to me that were neatly aligned on the wall? After cleansing and about 30 minutes of numbing, I met Helen, who was super kind, knowledgeable, and really listened. She explained that PicoSure has different settings and started with the medium mode to see how my skin would react -- I really appreciated her cautious and thoughtful approach. The treatment was quick and surprisingly comfortable thanks to the cooling air hose. My skin looked brighter right away, not darker like with other lasers. Afterward, the staff applied a sheet mask and chilled gel masks, which calmed my skin beautifully. By the time I got home, the redness was almost gone! Helen gave detailed aftercare instructions .
