I cannot say enough good things about the amazingness Tamara has done for my skin. I have been seeing Tamara for almost two years, and my skin has never been better. I have been suffering from acne and congested pores for over 10 years, and I had lowered my expectation for my skin to just hope for it to not break out. I honestly have spent years (5yrs in precise) dealing with sensitive skin and my dermatologist telling me to not use any product but just soap. I found her a bit rude, and she didn't do any massages that I read about in the reviews. Her facial was only about brutal extractions, nothing remarkable or relaxing. Not too many masks or treatments were done. Too bad and I won't be trying her again. She also tried to sell me very expensive skincare without telling me any details. She looked like she's in a hurry and was annoyed by me asking more questions about the product. Tamara is a miracle worker! I have been seeing her going on 7 years now. Prior to going to Tamara, I tried everything for my acne (proactive, acutane, spa treatments, etc.) You name it, I tried it. A friend referred me to her; after the first visit I saw immediate results and lasting benefits. My life was changed. Tamara literally transformed my face in 1.5 hours for $145. I absolutely highly highly recommend her. I am 45 and my face really needed brightening. And she is a magician. The bed and room were extremely comfortable and relaxing. Total privacy. I didn't see anyone except her. And fast. Pay her directly so no waiting in line which I hate to have to do after I am all relaxed and blissed out . Easy safe parking. Easy to find. I will be a regular! She be even applied some makeup on my brows and cheeks afterwards which was so nice. I have been going to Tamara for waxing for many years and cannot recommend her highly enough, both for what she does and as a human being. Tamara is professional and yet cares about each and every one of her clients, she makes you feel completely comfortable. As others said, it is not a spa, she has a room that is clean, comfortable and you feel at home. I have never seen her price list, she's been charging me the same price for about 10 years! There is plenty of parking, she is always on time and very accommodating as far as scheduling a suitable day/time. You know the drill: you wake up, hate your skin, plop down tons of money the same day at Sephora to make you feel better...and it doesn't work (not even that hot pink Sonicare-like contraption you use to wash your face every day). Then it hits you, it's time for a facial. Well, every time I've entered the latter phase of this on-going skin nightmare, the service has resulted in flat results (lame extractions and a useless mask). I was referred to Tamara by a friend with beautiful skin, and am beyond thankful for the tip. Tamara is extremely meticulous; I think she extracted the last ten years of crap from my face today. I am very discerning when it comes to skin care - and when it comes to aestheticians, I'm as picky and well researched as it comes. My first facial experience with Tamara was wonderful. She was extremely kind and welcoming. I would have liked to know what each step of the facial was, but it did seem like she did a lot- plus I did appreciate that she just let me relax- which I definitely did! Her prices are extremely reasonable- I got a 90 minute facial for a lower price than a 60 minute facial at other places. I sense that Tamara is also just a good person- when I asked her how often I should come back she said she didn't think I needed to come very often because my skin looked good and that I should just come back when I felt like my skin needed it. This answer showed me that she cares about what she does and isn't just in it for a pay check!
