This was my first time getting a facial and the owner, Shahin, is an absolute gem! I had originally signed up for a hydrafacial, but she was honest with me an offered me a cheaper facial because she said the hydrafacial ($90) would spread my hormonal acne. I had the deep cleaning facial ($70). She was very thorough, explained the process to me, and I felt relaxed the whole time. She even offered me a free sample of the facial cleanser that she used! By the end of the facial, almost all of the blackheads on my nose were gone, and my face was absolutely glowing. I will definitely be back once a month for the regular facial (which is only $50!) read more

This was my first time coming to Face to Face and it was lovely! Do call and make your appt as it truly is appt only (she's a one woman shop) but you can make your appts in advance which was so convenient!! I got my eyebrows and upper lip threaded beautifully. Already have my next three appointments made!! read more

I had a wonderful experience with owner, Shahin. I scheduled a hydra facial, which included a mask and microdermabrasion, and the experience was nothing short of relaxing, thorough, and perfect. All of their services are reasonably priced. My face is glowing almost one week later, and I couldn't be happier with the service that I received. I found my new esthetician! read more

I had a lovely facial here , I was looking forward to the extractions portion , and was super happy with the results. The owner is incredibly sweet and professional. Definitely check it out, happy to have it in the neighborhood. read more

Oh how I love Shahin. Such a sweet lady. And she does excellent facials as well as threading. She always has helpful insight for my skin as well as brows. And it's a great value. When was the last time you got a facial for $50? Definitely give it a try. read more

So, I hadn't gone to get my brows done since before the pandemic and then, the place I used to go to had received many negative reviews so I searched on yelp to find a new place and came across Face to Face. I saw the great reviews and decided to give it a shot. I was greeted very warmly by Shahin, even though she was busy helping another customer. I asked to use the washroom first and I honestly don't think I've seen a cleaner washroom which made me so happy. It was so clean that Shahin should teach many Chicagoland restaurants some hygiene lessons. Then came the time for the eye brow threading. First I was suprised to see that I would be lying down instead of sitting in a chair, but sure why not. I told Shahin that I was afraid because I wanted to keep my brows natural and thick and that usually brow places tended to overpluck but she promised she would keep it thick, and that's exactly what she did. My brows stayed thick while now having a better and cleaner shape. Also, the skin around the brows stayed calm meaning barely any redness so I could go out in public right away, and now I'm at day three and still haven't developed any pimples there which I tend to do after threading. I am so grateful to have found Face to Face and this is now my new eye brow place. Thanks Shahin! read more

Shahin is the best! I've been going to her for over 2 years for my eyebrow threading and amazing facials. I just tried bikini wax and henna tattooing for the first time today! Loved both services. Occasionally I come to Face to Face to have my eyebrows threaded. The shop is under new ownership as of January 2020. I still had a great experience having my brows threaded here and liked the new owner. We need to support our small businesses and Face to Face is a wonderful place. The salon is very neat and clean, services are by appointment and not rushed. I will definitely be back and recommend this salon for personalized quality service. read more

Absolutely wonderful facial! It's a very unassuming storefront but the interior is clean and welcoming. The treatment rooms are cozy and the beds sooo comfy. She was gentle with my skin and it positively GLOWED after the treatment. It included massage of the top of my chest, back, and neck. I was so relaxed. She did a quick threading of my eyebrows - practically pain free. Excellent value. I have found my new facial go-to place! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I was looking for a place to take my daughter for waxing and threading and didn't think she'd be comfortable in one of the pricey Park Ridge spas or the anonymous low-budget places in the neighborhood strip malls. Face to Face was hard to find but has been a godsend. Jamie and Shahin are very approachable and have sought out ways to work with my daughter's sensitive skin. We've been extremely happy with the service and price, and the nice thing is that we are always in and out in no time. Because they don't have a lot of signage or advertising, I feel like Face to Face is a hidden jewel in the neighborhood. Highly recommended. read more

I experienced a customized facial and was really happy with the service and treatment. relaxing room and great price where I can afford to go 1x per month. Ample Free parking. Happy I tried it. Was looking for a new place closer to my new home in Edgebrook. read more

I went for a chemical peel and my face was burned. My face looked horrible for a week and I had to host both Christmas eve and Christmas with a blotched face. My money was given back but only after I called the next day and my face didn't get better and would burn when I put water on it, even though I had been assured it would be fine the next day. The Esthetician Shahin kept saying my face looked better but that's an insult considering it was burnt from the chemicals being left on my face too long. I knew there was a problem when she kept asking every few seconds whether or not I felt any burning. Someone with experience would not be asking every few seconds. The other services I had here were great but I do not recommend getting a chemical peel here ever. read more

Jamie and Shahin work well together to make sure I get the best service. I especially like the hydrofacial. Really helps to keep my skin hydrated in cold Chicago winters. I've recommended Face to Face to so many friends--a great neighborhood salon, even if you don't live in the neighborhood. Highly recommended! read more
