I've been going to Face Magic for a few years. Everything about the experience is always 5 stars. It is a small family owned business with 3 employees who are absolute pros at what they do. Keyana, who runs the front desk and the phones is lovely. She is professional and so kind. I usually go to Manuel for my facials. He is knowledgeable and very good at what he does. All of the products smell so good and I feel like a million bucks when I leave. I use several of their products and have had great results. This business is a treasure. read more

I love this wonderful establishment. Manuel is a God send. My skin is beautiful, vibrant, and I've been told several times "your skin is glowing." I feel absolutely magical! read more

Lynne gave me the best facial I've ever had! I've been to a few places before and haven't been back to the same place twice, but I will absolutely go back to Face Magic! My fiance and I wanted pre-wedding facials and he found Face Magic and we both made appointments and saw Lynne. Lynne taught me so much about my own skin and how to best care for my skin and sent me home with a very clear and concise skin care routine. I also went home with some of their products and I've really enjoyed the new routine. I will absolutely go back post-wedding so Lynne can really go at some of my deep rooted acne, but also to keep my skin refreshed and maintained so prevent dryness and hopefully prevent wrinkles. read more

Such a delightful treat to find this space walking distance from home! Surprised to hear they opened at 9am, I was able to snag a last min appt for a wax on a Saturday morning. After a morning stroll down to Face Magic, I was greeted with strawberry spa water and met Manuel- such a kind gentleman who completed my intake documentation and shared some education on skin health- helped me see they truly care about what they do! Lynn, the owner, provided me my service- she was incredible! Engaging conversation, great care with the service, itself, and she worked hard to decrease any irritation associated with the service before I left. Already scheduled my next appt! read more

I have been going to Lynne for many years now. My skin looks and feels years younger than my age. Lynne is so knowledgeable and I trust her to know what my skin needs and to always do what is best for me. I love their line of high-quality skin care products. I feel like I'm doing something really good for my skin with both the facials and using the Face Magic products. Recently, I had a hot paraffin hand treatment for the first time. After the treatment, my wrinkled hands were smooth, soft, and plump! read more

What an amazing experience it is to have a facial with Lynn! During Covid, there are several safety measures in place to put everyone at ease. Keyana at the front desk always greets me in a warm friendly way that reminds me of the old Cheers theme song "where everybody knows your name, and they're always glad you came" The facial with Lynn is so healing! Her professional expertise is paired with a soothing, nurturing presence. I trust her recommendations for follow up home care and I'm not only seeing results in my skin but I've also been getting compliments from friends and family. I highly recommend Face Magic! read more

I have been going to Face Magic for years and I am never disappointed! They have helped me on a journey to healthier skin & home care with an emphasis on the care. I have had 2 facials during COVID 19 and the care that Face Magic takes in making sure that everyone is safe and abiding by strict guidelines goes above and beyond expectations! Every precaution to insure my safety (and comfort!) was taken. The thought that went into my and the staffs' safety was not lost on me, and made for a relaxing and heartwarming experience. I have been so happy to have Face Magic take care of my skin for years. Lynne is very knowledgeable about skin and caring about her clients. You can't go wrong with Face Magic! read more

My facial with Lynn today was amazing -- the best! As a first-time client, she took the time to talk with me about my skin and skincare -- as well as broader healthcare issues -- and carefully examined my face before getting started. She took her time, explaining what she was doing all along the way -- and generally made me feel like a pampered princess. Lynn is not only an extremely skilled professional but also a very kind and compassionate practitioner. Treat yourself! read more

Face Magic IS magic! The facials are fantastic. I've been getting facials in various salons for more than 30 years, and these are definitely the best I've ever had. I've now been going to Face Magic for more than 8 years. The two estheticians, Manuel and Lynne (husband and wife), are both superb. I highly recommend them. read more

I highly recommend Lynne Williams at Face Magic! She uses a wide range of effective, all natural products, is very skilled and experienced, and observes covid protocols. She offers expert facial care and an array of treatments in a soothing, relaxing and nurturing environment. read more

Face Magic is absolutely the best place for facials. My peers comment on my great skin for my age and it is because I take care of it through Face Magic. And I've been very impressed with their safeguards during covid. They take your temperature as you walk in. You take off your shoes. You wash your hands before you go anywhere. They wear a face mask and shield and there is no talking in the room. And the air is filtered well. I have recommended them to family and friends and everyone agrees Manuel and Lynne give the best facials in the Bay Area. read more

I went last month for my facial and am scheduled again next week. Lynne and Manuel have thought through all the precautions, understand the science and the technology and I feel very, very safe getting my facial with them. It's nice to be able to experience some of those thing you value most again. read more

I've gone to Face Magic for years, for facials and eyebrow cleanups/coloring etc. Lynne and Manuel are extremely nurturing and knowledgeable about skincare! read more

I had my first facial yesterday!! Manuel works magic, the name says it all. I cant put it in words its something you just have to experience! Can't wait for my next visit read more

Let me start off by saying... almost my whole family comes to face magic and sees Manuel (he's that much amazing). I've been coming here since January 2015 and before my treatments I have had difficulties dealing with my acne. I've tried so many different products, such as proactive, nerium, chanel, etc and nothing seem to help me until I started coming to see Manuel and using Face Magic's products. My very first treatment with him, he automatically told me, he could help me better my skin as long as I did my "homework" (changing my pillow sheets twice a week, exfoliated twice a week, cleanse my face, etc) and it would only take about 6 months. I was so incredibly happy to hear that good news and finally had hope that I would have clear skin again. I enjoyed and looked forward to my appointments, it was like my me-time and a perfect way for me to relax, felt like my "spa days". Within about 3 months is when I started to see improvement in my skin, then a couple months later as Manuel said, it would take 6 months.. Oh boy, was he absolutely right!!!! My skin looks fabulous at this point and I'm still continuing to see him but not on a monthly basis anymore, more like every other month or as needed. I've gotten so many compliments on how much better my skin looks. It just makes me feel so much better about myself and I'm very very satisfied with all the treatments I've had. Yessssss, it is very pricey with treatments plus products so you have to be willing to spend the money but you get what you pay for and I sure did! :) I most definitely recommend Face Magic and Manuel to everyone who asks me about my skin. I love this place so much and I'm so thankful to have met Manuel, I wouldn't be this happy without him and his magical ways! Thank you thank you thank you so much Manuel!!!!!! read more

Manuel is a Master of Facial! He checks my skin thoroughly each time and plans a treatment accordingly and always brings me the best result. My skin is super hydrated and looks 10 years younger than usual after his treatment and the effect lasts for a long time! Not only he's skilled but also he is very kind and knowledgeable, he educates me with a lot of good advices for the skin. His neck and shoulder massage is amazing too. I highly recommend Face Magic! read more

I have nothing but praise for Lynn and Face Magic, where I have been going on and off for more than a decade. From the moment I walk in the door, every bit of the experience is wonderful, professional, pampering. What Lynne offers is so much more than a facial. Highly recommended! read more

I just had a Signature Facial with Manuel, and couldn't be happier. My skin looks and feels great, and the experience was relaxing and educational. I wanted to learn more about how to take care of my aging and sun-damaged skin, and I really appreciated how Manuel explained what he was doing during the facial, and also how I could take care of my skin in between visits. He recommended a couple of products that I could integrate with what I've already been doing, and I was glad that he didn't try to oversell me on services and products. I would definitely recommend Face Magic and Manuel! read more

Face Magic is appropriately named for their soothing and healing touch. Not only is Lynne expert in dealing with adult acne (unbelievable at my age) she is very aware of how to work with skin of color, and particularly, hyperpigmentation. While facial remedies are setting, subtle tunes play as she gives the most soothing massage to ease your stress. Services are affordably priced and well worth the money. One visit, and you will return for more from her and / or Manuel, also skilled and adept. read more

Face Magic is not like any other facial salon. The owners and staff have created a welcoming, peaceful and warm ambiance. As soon as you walk in the door you feel more relaxed. The facial treatments are more than just getting a boost for your skin, they are "whole person" treatments and they are fantastic. I agree with another reviewer, the name is well chosen because they do add a bit of "magic" to the whole experience. I live in Hayward and it's worth either the drive, or a BART ride to go there. I love that their many of their FM products are made locally, from herbs and natural/organic ingredients. I always feel happy when I leave FM and my skin is happy/glowing for days. They can also mail order any of their products so if I am out of something can just give them a call. They often have promotions so it's worth getting on their email list. Thank you Face Magic for another wonderful facial experience. read more

On all fronts, the BEST FACIAL you have likely ever had. Lynne is such a good listener and is innovative in her approach. Each treatment is personalized the entire Face Magic staff genuinely cares about service. I have been a Face Magic convert for about 10 years. I have sent family & friends to Lynne knowing they are in the most skilled of hands (no matter what stage of life their skin is in). Face Magic is for those looking for a relaxing and decadent experience--as well as those looking to change the health of their skin. Lynne works with people of all ages and backgrounds with problem skin using healthy, natural ingredients. Each treatment is personalized to your needs. She works from the premise that when you are healthy, then your skin is more beautiful. Lynne began treating me when I was a young, broke professional trying to get rid of my lingering acne and taught me how to care for my skin over the long term. My acne is long gone. Reach out to Face Magic for their consistent attention to detail, high quality of products used, and overall satisfying consumer experience. I highly recommend! read more

I love the new Face Magic studio. I have been going to Face Magic for facials for many years. Lynne and Manuel have once again created a serene environment in which to work their "magic". I have recommended many friends over the years and all of them have been blissed out by the experience. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and I think that the first thing that attracted me was its wonderful very subtle scent and then of course the healing, magical treatments have kept me coming back all this time. read more

I have had many facials over the years but seeing Lynne at Face Magic was an experience that I've never had. She worked magic (no pun intended) on my aging skin. I usually go for a facial as a "treat" once a year but having seen Lynne a couple of months apart really makes a difference. The new place is very pretty, relaxing, calming and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend Face Magic and have told my friends about it. read more

My best friend had been raving about Lynn for years, but the thought of getting a one-time facial, let alone getting them regularly, seemed like a luxury only other people afforded. That all changed when I experienced the power of Face Magic for myself. My experience here as been one of a physical and emotional healing. The tranquility and peace experienced by having a loving angel pamper and nourish my face was not anything I thought 'getting a facial' was about; but it truly is. I didn't know how much stress I carried in my facial muscles from having to be 'on' all the time. I have suffered from acne for years and Lynn helped me get off Proactive (which was very drying to my skin causing me to look depleted and unwell) and I haven't had a breakout since--kind of a miracle, if you ask me! So, thank you, thank you, Lynn and her staff at Face Magic. You are my little piece of serenity, something I do solely for myself, in this busy life! And my skin looks AMAZING! read more

On a trip to Northern California my friend treated me to a facial by Lynne. OMG-- to say that it was amazing is an understatement! Lynn has magic hands. What I got was way better than any facial I've had in Los Angeles or elsewhere. Besides being a skin care genius, she knows pressure points - - and worked on my arm and hand to relieve a headache. The facial included massage of the neck and shoulder area. I went out a different person from the one who went in. I wish Lynn would move to LA, but I'll settle for booking An appointment with her every time I come up north. read more

Prior to finding Lynne at Face Magic (more than 5 years ago), I had tried several places for facials but rarely found it to be a very satisfying experience. After a facial with Lynne, I always feel glad that I did it. She can recommend specific treatments or do a standard facial. She uses wonderful products and applies them carefully - checking in with me if a certain treatment might be a bit uncomfortable. She does have a wonderful ability to apply the right amount of pressure to the massage part of the faciaI and it always feels like a treat. I am continually impressed by how good she is at what she does. I also buy skin products from her. She is very thoughtful about what to recommend and explains in detail (if you want it)how to use the products. I like having someone knowledgable to get my skincare products from because there's so much out there. read more

I was introduced to Face Magic by a friend and have been recommending them to many and treating my family and friends to this incredible experience. Manuel is magic! All products are organic; they have their own line. I live in Pleasanton but am willing to drive to El Cerrito for his treatments. Not inexpensive but 'the proof is in the pudding'! My face glows and is healthier. I have brought products and recommend them highly! 5+ stars! read more
