My husband treated me to a full day of services for Mother's Day - I thought all the service providers were amazing. Unfortunately, the space itself was really out dated and lacking. I got a massage and the room was freezing, I could also hear other people in the room next door talking loudly. Room was freezing for my facial, too. They don't provide spa slippers so I had to either walk around with socks and a robe or wear shoes and a robe. Just didn't feel super luxurious or soothing - which is a bummer based on the amount of money spent. I locked my items inside their lockers and it wasn't until I returned I noticed the lock was actually broken. read more

This place is great. My hair looks great and of course I have to mention Liv and thank her for doing such a great job! They offer a multiple services and I didn't even know this place did hair. But they do and do it very well. I would tell anyone I know to make an appointment for whatever they need here. The tans are cheaper here too. read more

I received a large gift card as a gift from my husband. It turns out that it expires in a year. My husband was not made aware of that when he purchased it. I was originally told that they could add the amount to my account so that it wouldn't expire. I was later told that it would still expire. I spoke to the manager, but she was not able to resolve the issue. I would not recommend purchasing a gift card from them! read more

Got all over color from Liv today and it looks gorgeous! Front desk staff was also so friendly as this was my first visit. Thanks all!

Found the staff helpful and pleasant, really enjoyed my massage from Sara. I booked laser hair removal with Desi for my next service.

Treated myself to a 250.00 spa day . Massage was good . Facial was good. Pedicure was rushed. Feet were not scrubbed of dead skin. Legs rubbed with moisture for 30 seconds . Given a bag for my shoes and hustled out the door after a 15 min pedicure . Didn't allow me to wait for it to dry. Sent me out in the rain in disposable flip flops that were broken before I got to the car. Sitting here waiting for my nails to dry in the car and here comes the nail tech leaving ... why schedule something when she has to leave? . Left everyone a good tip because I didn't want to rock the boat Kinda regretting doing that Should have asked for the manager instead. Oh well... live and learn... won't be back read more

I'm not just disappointed I'm mad. I feel like I was just scammed out of 100$. I wanted to get a facial for myself for my birthday but with everything going on right now I contemplated canceling my appointment to keep social distancing however I decided this was probably just the thing I needed to relax so I went ahead anyways. I picked my facial out online after doing extensive research and reading about the "many" facial treatments they do here. I picked the one with extractions and steam because I really needed to take care of this acne. To double check my facial came with extractions after booking I called and talked to a receptionist who told me I was indeed in fact going to be talking with someone with knowledge of acne and yes I would be getting extractions. The salon was nice and clean however right off the bat when I went into the room all my esthetician wanted to do was talk and not about skin. Then she brings me a Velcro towel to wear which is just filthy looking. There was what looked to be armpit stains and make up all over this once white towel. Once we finally get the facial started it's like she was afraid to ouch my fave she rubbed tons of product on my shoulders and arms but when it came to touching my face she would only touch the edges and my nose very very faintly. When it came to removing products also she was leaving lotion and masks everywhere my eye brows and hair are caked with it still. When she got to the "cleaning out my pores part" she flipped on a light and covered my eyes and I thought this would be the part where she removes some gunk from my fave well I was very very wrong she wiped a cloth along my nose and told me she didn't see ANY acne or problem spots anywhere on my face. Well Im no esthetician but What the hell........ I still have all the black heads and acne marks I went in with, my pores are huge, and the red patch I told her about is still right looking red as ever. I didn't even know what to say after wards. I'm a single mom who doesn't just have money to throw away but It sure feels like I just did. read more

Face & Body - "I don't know what you're talking about.. I don't see any redness or acne anywhere on your face." -my presumably blind esthetician - Day Spas Near Me - O'Fallon, Missouri

I went in for a bikini wax and the back of my legs. Aesthetician was friendly when we first met, but when I asked questions, she said I should give people more after information. This was my first time being waxed and I told her that. The process was excruciating, and she was, in my opinion, rushing through the process, pulling very quickly and not being patient. I now have bruises, skin missing, and a rash on my legs. I look like someone kicked me and burned my skin. I felt like she was rushing; when she walked me to the counter to check out, the front desk person said, " that was fast".... which confirmed my feelings. More disappointing was the manager called me, and the only thing they could say was you could get some hydrocortisone, which would help...I have skin missing. They then stated I was just not a candidate for waxing. I have been in the hospitality industry for many years, and this is the most horrible customer service I have encountered. I will not go back for any services. read more

The woman who just answered my call was rude and practically rushed me off the phone. She was annoyed that she had to take down a few numbers on a gift card to give me my balance. I intended to schedule a massage and use the balance to pay for part of it, but since you were so inconvenienced, didn't even offer to schedule me for a service, and rushed me off the line, I won't be giving any money to this place of business for overpriced services. It's not hard to just be nice on the phone. I've been in customer service for years and would never treat someone like that. I was happy with my previous message but the customer service at the front desk needs work. Gift cards bring new business. You just lost mine. read more

I made an appointment for yesterday via their online booking system for a haircut, single color, and conditioning treatment. The times offered were as late as 3:30 pm, so I picked 3:15 pm. Note: I have been to this salon several times and have used their online booking system every single time. When I was on my way to my appointment, I received a phone call stating that I made my appointment for too late and they would not have time to do my conditioning treatment. I said as long as I was refunded, this was fine, and asked if I would still receive the cut and color. They said yes. Keep in mind this was at 2:45. I also told them I would arrive at 3 instead of 3:15 as requested by the person I spoke to on the phone. I arrived at 3 pm and was told that I could either have a hair cut or color. I said that I would need to have both or that I would like to be refunded, and the receptionist told me that today "wasn't going to work". I was given no apology, was not offered anything in return for the fact that I had showed up and been turned away from my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. The receptionist wrote down my credit card information on a sheet of paper and said they'd "get back to me within a few business days". Do not waste your time at this salon. They clearly do not care about customer service. I will never be returning. Also just a note to the salon: if you cannot do a service in the time provided on your online booking system (website says 90 minutes for the service I selected and I had from 3-5 pm), take it off of your website so people do not sign up and PRE PAY for this service. read more

Can I just say that this place saved the day for me? Let me elaborate. I had recently gone to a conference that involved 4 plane rides and a lot of bad sleep on 2 of them. I leaned forward in my sleep making my head close to my chest. Sleeping like this is not good for your body in that you can develop muscle aches and pains from having the muscles pulled like that for too long. Anyways, back to the review.... I was able to call and make a same day appointment, which was awesome. Moving clearly wasn't the easiest thing to do and I had a super hunch back going in. I got in and was asked how much pressure I would like for my massage. That was when I informed the person that this was my first massage ever. She said that she would go with medium pressure to start with and adjust as needed. Let me tell you, the pressure she applied felt good. I felt all the aches go away. Once I was done, I was moving around freely again and in like no pain. There are a few perks, like free water there. But not anything out of the ordinary. And even though it can cost a pretty penny, it is well worth the price. Especially after long hard airplane rides. PS: They have a Groupon out right now. read more

Face & Body - Some of the goodies they sell. - Day Spas Near Me - O'Fallon, Missouri

Had a pedicure with Casey always a great experience. Love the salon everyone is welcoming and friendly!

I will no longer be supporting the Face & Body or recommending. I have used their services for several years but today's interaction and experience put an end to that. I had an appointment for a facial Mon, 9/13. I started feeling ill the night prior to my appointment with fever and body aches and therefore attempted to cancel my appointment that evening 9/12. I called the OFallon number. The recording gives the hours and hangs up. There is no option to leave a message/vm. I then attempted to see if I could cancel through text- but that is not an option either. I called the next morning prior to 10am (their open time)- Still no way to leave vm- gives hours and hangs up. So I waited until they opened at 10 and called back- no answer x2. Then I called back about 20 minutes into my appointment time (11am) and explained to Corine the situation. Her response was a a weak "okay?". End of conversation. Two days later I noticed a withdrawal from my bank for $118 from the Face & Body. I called and explained the situation to the front desk (ofallon) on 9/15. The young lady sounded very confused and wasn't able to help. She said she'd leave my name and number and have the manager return my call. It is now Sunday 9/19 and I never received a call back from the manager and my account has not been refunded. I call the store back again and get transferred to Corine whom I spoke with Monday to cancel (apparently the store manager). Who states she remembers our conversation/situation. She claims she told me there was a 24 hour cancellation policy (which she did not) and goes on to explain that this policy has been in place for years so if I'm a regular customer I should know this (poor customer service). Then when I remind her of the lack of communication skills on Monday during our "talk" (when all she responded was "okay")- she responded to this with "sure". Someone has obviously failed communications 101. Corine confirms I will not be getting my money back and the only reason they wouldn't charge me is if I was sick. I WAS SICK (which I explained to her on Monday). She tells me I can talk to her manager. I'm given information to call the manager at the Brentwood store (Christine). I immediately call Christine and once again explain the entire situation and how I've been charged $118 for a service I didn't get and that I did all that I could to try and cancel in as timely of a manner I was allotted. She apologized and said she would have to talk to Corine because she didn't know anything about the instance (even though I called several times and left a message to get a call back from a manager 4 days ago). Christine and Corine talk and I receive a call back from Christine informing me that they will not be refunding my money because even though I was sick, 1. I could have left a message (again, there was no way to leave a message during closed hours- I have confirmed this since and had other people listen to it as well- it gives business hours and hangs up). 2. The policy has been in place for a long time and is there to protect their workers (Hmmmm- What protects your customers? Poor customer service) Christine tells me the only thing she can do is escalate to the owner. I responded "yes please give me the owners information so I can speak with them." She informs me she cannot do that and that I will not be personally speaking with the owner and that she will talk to the owner on my behalf (I wonder how that will turn out). I'm just left in disbelief at the poor communication, repulsive customer service, and apathetic attitude by this management. For future reference, with such a rigid cancellation policy that involves taking large chunks of money from people because you keep their card on file, you should make it as easy as possible to cancel! Meaning in your reminder text, perhaps place a cancellation link or button. I hope you all enjoy the $118 you took from me (and my family) because that is the last money you'll be getting from me. I will be placing this review in as many places I can...there were other ways to handle this and still make sure your employee AND customer were taken care of. read more

Do Not Get Botox Here!!! I am an RN and partly blame myself on my lack of due diligence. I went in to check out a "Botox Sale Night" and ended up with $300 worth of botched Botox - Spock Eyebrows and drooping eyelids. I "hoped" during the first 14 days that it would resolve - it didn't. At my 2 week follow up, after verbalizing my complaints and dissatisfaction, "Ginny" basically told me it was my fault because I had "hooded" eyelids prior to the Botox. She never mentioned this at the time of injections. Long story short - she said I could "maybe" benefit from prescription Iodipine eye drops. (As a nurse, I had already researched this and was planning on asking for a prescription...She couldn't come up with the name of the drops, I had to fill that in for her.) She called her manager, then relayed to me that I would have to call my own MD for treatment to correct the drooping lids. So there is NO PHYSICIAN to monitor/treat when things don't go as promised. Her answer was to charge me for more Botox to fix the Spock brows. My research and conversations with physicians I work with points to her injecting my forehead too low. As I left (after refusing to allow her to inject me again) she said she would check into getting my money back and that "I" should call her manager. I said its not my job to call your manager and ask for my money back. I stated that I expected her to do so and that I would be awaiting that call. It had been almost 4 weeks with no contact and I decided to leave this review. I had hoped once again that it would be resolved to no avail. Do your homework. Do Not Get Injections from Salons and Spas. Please pay a little more and get it done from a licensed plastic surgeon or dermatologist. read more

A girlfriend of mine was so sweet to purchase a groupon for me for an hour massage. I made my appt. and due to some clients shifting at work I was 20 min. late. Which, no problem I understand the manager explained that I can only get whatever remains from my hour massage. The massage was good but not enough so, I booked an hour and a half massage with their best therapist a few days later. My appt was for 11:30 and my therapist showed up 9 min late with no apology and finished 4 min before my appt. Her massage was excellent but because I was penalized for being late on my first appt then there should've been an apology plus some sort of compensation for the 13min of missed service. read more

Went in for a facial and they never informed me the esthetician whom I booked with was more costly than the others. Had I know this, I wouldnt have booked with her, she was almost $80 for a 60 min facial, which would have been fine, given she supposedly was there the longest, but I did not like her facial at all. She talked through the entire thing, even though I had mentioned to her, I was an esthetician myself, I was just in to relax and get pamper myself. She was trying to sell my on her products (which are Aveda), when I work for an Aveda salon myself. I didn't appreciate that. I told her I work for an Aveda salon but she continued to talk to me about how if I purchase from her it would do my skin a world of difference. Moral of the story, I didn't appreciate her salesmanship over the practical side of the facial. Even if I wasnt myself an esthetician, I think people should just be able to relax and not be talked to the entire time of the facial. While I appreciate selling products, you need to have boundries. I paid a lot of money for just a 60 min facial and to me it was very much not worth it. read more

Ginny is a very knowledgeable injectable nurse. She definitely knows what she's doing!

If I could spend all my money on spa treatments, I would do it here. I have seen a lot of the service providers at this Face & Body location. Each one of them has done an amazing job. Massage - Leighanna is just fantastic. She's a master level massage therapist which means she costs a little more than the lower experience levels but it's 100% worth it. I like deep massage and have a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders. I've seen Leighanna every 4 weeks for years and I wouldn't have it any other way. She's friendly, professional, and works out my tension. She listens to any issues I'm having and answers any questions I have. She's just awesome. Also, she always gives you the full 60 or 90 minutes. They will not short you 5-10 minutes for getting dressed/undressed and changing the table sheets. Major bonus! Facials - My last facial was with Kristen and she did a really good job. Like Leighanna, she listened to my concerns and addressed each of them. The facial included a hand and arm massage which was nice. She recommended a few products but it was because I asked for the recommendations. She was not pushy about the products but I felt informed and able to make a selection if I wanted to. The hour was relaxing and my skin felt great for days afterwards. Hair - I've tried a couple stylists and I really love Dawn. Not only does she cut my hair how I want it but she'll make suggestions based on my hair texture and face shape. She also taught me more about my wavy hair than any other stylist. Who knew you aren't supposed to use terrycloth towels?! Dawn keeps up on her training and recently was in New York to continue to develop. I love having a stylist that knows all the latest styles and techniques. Manicure/Pedicures - I can't say that I've ever had a bad mani/pedi at Face & Body. Ligaya, Illiana, and Angie are all very friendly, very professional, and do a fantastic job. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE A MEMBERSHIP! Not worth it! Bad business practices! Had a membership for the past year. I just moved. I called prior to my move to cancel my membership and was told it was canceled. When the money came out of my account, I called, and I was told that it was not canceled because I have to come in to fill out paperwork. I agreed to do this. Then money was taken out of my account for the next month's membership. When I went in to cancel my membership, I was told I could not get the money out back into my account. I was told I could get my nails done or buy beauty supplies. I explained that I MOVED, and that I would prefer to just get my money back. Manager refused, citing "policy" (aka. our way to screw people and not feel bad about it). I am very unhappy. read more

I've followed Ericka from a St. Charles spa to this one and I'm so happy I did. She gives the BEST facials. I called on Monday to make an appointment on Tuesday. The woman who made my appointment let me know that I would need to wear a mask while at the salon (which is fine by me). I received a text to confirm my appointment the day of. I drove 20+ minutes to my appointment where they informed me they recently changed their covid policies and I had to answer no to 10 questions. All were no except one which was that I was at a gathering of more than 10 people in the last 14 days. Because of this, they denied services and told me I would have to come back when I have completed 14 days of not being around gatherings of more than 10 people. I may not agree with this policy but I can certainly respect it, if informed in advance. I am absolutely frustrated that they failed to communicate this to me 1) at the time of making my appointment or 2) when/if the policy changed in the 36 hours between making my appointment and arriving for my appointment. A complete waste of my time, 45 minutes in total with drive time. I understand that these are strange times but if you can't give customers common courtesy of communicating your policies then you may not deserve good, loyal, repeat customers like me. Total miss on customer service. read more

I went in for a signature facial with a master esthetician. She was pleasant enough - she did try to sell me products, of course. What bothered me most is that while I went in for the full experience I was most looking forward to some extractions as their signature facial described. Yep - she did not extract one thing on my face. I thought maybe that I was mistaken but the cashier said yes extractions are in the description. Really disappointed and the only thing she offered was for me to talk to the esthetician who just bummed me out. I'm not sure I'll be back but the next facial I get I guess I will have to explicitly tell them I would like extractions. Never had to ask before but lesson learned. read more

I worked here for about two months. Of course working in a building with a bunch of women can get a little dramatic at some points, needless to say it was not worth the hour drive. I had $150 gift certificate to the face and the body, so I decided I'd get a mani-pedi which by the way was not cheap (About $120). The pedi was great, the artist were so friendly, I loved it. But when I came a few weeks later to get my full acrylic set, I was very disappointed. My appointment was at 12:15 and they had me waiting for almost have an hour. The woman who did my nails was a very sweet, genuinely lovely person. But she didn't do a job on my nails what so ever. It's my fourth day of having them on and they already feel loose, one has already snapped off, all of them are different sizes and shapes, non consistent with each other. The tips are angled or uneven, and much of my natural nail is still very much visible from outside the acrylic. read more

Apparently I miss understood her and she said NO you get charged 50% today and will have to pay FULL PRICE tomorrow as we'll. I give this place 4 stars. We came in with a bachelorette party and they were very accommodating. We had a section of the place just for us while we waited for our services. The bride got an amazing massage that made her very relaxed for her big day. She wanted a shellac manicure but broke all of her nails the week before so had to get a full set of fake nails instead. She was not happy with the outcome of them but said the massage made up for it. The rest of us got manicures or pedicures with one of the girls getting a back facial. Everyone else was really satisfied with everything. I would definitely recommend and I will be back! read more
