Steve and Bryan are a joke to deal with. Took me over a year to get my plans and engineering from…read morethem. I drew the plans for them and it still took this long. These men constantly didn't do what they said they would over email. They never followed a chain email. Always missing items and tasks then trying to bill more for their incompetence. Then to make matters worse Steve took my plans to the city to submit since he was 12 weeks behind. Unfortunately I didn't see the plans he submitted and now after starting the build we have had delay after delay since Steve thought oh lets see if the city catches his mistakes. I told him many times these mistakes are on you. My project now sits because of a Sheer Wall discrepancy, I mentioned to Steve back in February of 2025 that I'd be using Zip Flash R Value Sheathing. Instead of doing his job he ignored me and now I am on hold with the city now for 30 days. I now have Steve and Bryan trying to charge me for their mistakes with the plans and their own engineer. I have asked Steve for my DWG file so that I can cease all work with them as I have paid Steve in full for his horrible services. Now we doesn't want to release my archictectual plans. This company is a bunch of incompetent con-men looking to benefit off your build.

When he came out to take measurements, he offered smart suggestions that made our project more cost-effective while also adding long-term value to our home. Ramy delivered the plans ahead of schedule and took the time to walk us through everything in person. The city of Claremont's permit requirements are very strict, and it was clear that Ramy knew what the city would require. When the city had requests we didn't agree with, he communicated directly with the city planner on our behalf and guided us through the process with confidence and clarity. You get what you pay for with Ramy--his work is high quality, detailed, and thoughtful. His expertise, responsiveness, and professionalism made a stressful process feel smooth and manageable. We highly recommend him for any home or ADU project. He is absolutely worth it.

We hired Ron to do the architectural plans for the remodel of a fourplex. He came in with a fancy camera scanner to measure everything, a very efficient process. He was very much on time with the delivery of the initial draft. We discussed minor changes and submitted to the city, and they had just had a few minor corrections before approval, which is better than other architectural teams I have worked with. After we began work on the project, we discovered a beam in the ceiling was not pointing in the right direction, leading to the need for a revision to the plans. The engineer Margarito went on site and approved changes, which allowed us to quickly adapt. Overall this was a very streamlined process, I would be happy to use his services in the future and can very much recommend him.

The timeline was totally reasonable (honestly, my slow email responses probably added more time than anything on their end), and the plans were approved by the city on the first try, which was a huge relief. It was also hard to find someone willing to take on a smaller project at a fair price, and they were very thorough. Even months later, they've still been responsive with follow-up questions from our contractor. Would definitely recommend, especially for smaller renovations or additions.

At first we tried to do it ourselves by finding family recommended architect to draw prints for us for submission and whatever else the city wants. Then we tried to find contracts and they either stuck up their noses at us or didn't even bother showing up at the appointment. Finding a trustworthy contractor is hard. So I looked up Yelp and found Mr. Parrague and initially contacted one of the reviewer, Henry, because he offered to shed more light on his experience. He was so kind and highly recommened Parrague Construction. And I'm living in another country and my Mom's English isn't fluent enough to handle this kind of matter. So I called Mr. Parrague and he made me feel safe. He is a one stop shop because I wasn't sure if the city was going to ask to redo the blueprints or not. He was very professional, on-time, and does not push for extra things just to make more money, in fact it's the opposite. He is tough, which you need to be when dealing with the city, and very experienced. He will go out of his way to help you. His crew is clean and his assistant is also kind and very communicative, but Mr. Parrague usually is your main point of contact. He likes to handle the calls himself. Once my mom called around 5pm saying they installed the garage door wrong (they did not) and I thought she got locked out of the house. I had to call Mr. Parrague from outside the country (Skype) and he said he will go straight to my house after his meeting which was an hour away from my house bc they had my spare key. I told my mom and realized she wasn't locked out. So whether it was installed correctly or not, it was NOT an emergency. I quickly messaged Mr. Parrague because it can be dealt the next day. I didn't want him to get in an accident trekking across LA. He understood and STILL showed up! This is now probably 7pm. They figured out that it was my Mom who didn't understand how the new garage door worked....So I am so thankful for them for their work and for dealing with the City and get me approved and case closed. I am a fan. XD
