JFI was hired to do some renovations on my condo. It turned out to be a very bad decision…read more Numerous promised timelines were missed without any good explanations. In the end, an estimated 3-4 months project was barely completed in 12 months, which means I had to live on a "construction site" for a year! Even with the long delay, the tile work and the floor project were still less than satisfactory. When doing the floor project, JFI even damaged my carpet because of improper method used. Finally the customer care was close to none. I had really bad experience when dealing with them on the unquoted and unreasonable rework charges. So if you ever decide to use JFI, my recommendation is to require a pre-approval on any extra charges.

They didn't show that morning and I had to reach out a few times before they showed. It was downhill from there. I had to keep following up to get them to show. The first two days there were a couple of people that were working then it was just one. I was told it would take a week. Three weeks later it wasn't close to done. We were having two sets of exterior stairs and one set of interior stairs built plus a back porch was removed. There absolutely needed to be more than one person. They ended up destroying the property, none of the stairs were finished, the demo in the back was never finahed, they stole materials, left a ton of debris that I had to pay to have removed and and I HAD TO PAY TO HAVE THE STAIRS REBUILT and I made the mistake of given them a second payment and had to buy materials because the owner wouldn't respond to me or the guy he had there working and I needed to get the job going. When I expressed concern about the quality of the work and it not being to code I got attitude and then ignored. They stopped showing up and never responded to me again. I think I was scammed and I also found out that neither this company or the company they subcontracted the work to are not actually legal companies and they are representing themselves as companies. They are not even insured. Worst experience I've ever had and I will also have to take further steps to remedy the situation when this has already coste so much money and time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this company at all costs.

Incredibly disappointed in the service provided by this company. I was provided a quote of $275 for…read moremove out cleaning service and the carpet cleaning for three rooms. The price was very fair in comparison to their competitors. FYI: our unit (1 bedroom, 1 bathroom; empty of almost all furniture except a bed frame (no mattress) and an end table.) we have carpet in our bedroom, dining room and family room. Pros: -We have a soak in tub that the jets get very dirty as we don't use. They did a very nice job cleaning out the tub. - the bedroom carpet in the bedroom was cleaned nicely. Cons: -my husband asked them to not lock the door as we only lock the deadbolt. They locked the handle. It was very challenging to get in. (I can chalk this up to a miss communication though) - the tile was not swept let alone mopped or wiped. - Our place was barely cleaned. The freezer shelves were not wiped down. - the lights were not dusted. - the counters in the kitchen were not wiped down - they wiped down the kitchen cabinets as you could see the streaks but left residue and particles all over the cabinet doors - our closet has two mirrored doors these were not cleaned. - the toilet was not cleaned, the bathroom sink was not cleaned and even though they did a nice job on the tub they didn't wipe down the handles of the shower. - there was dust left on top of the counters, heating thermostat, the door bell, etc - What made me most upset is the carpeting in our living and dining room. It is an off white normally and There were two spots on the carpet. When we saw the stains after the cleaning took place we assumed they were too hard for the company to get out. But we touched them and you could tell they were not cleaned. My husband and I went to dollar tree and got a $1 towel and a $1 carpet cleaner and got the spots out in under 3 mins. I'm so incredibly disappointed with this company. Moving is incredibly expensive and we completely wasted $300+ (after tip) on this service. I have attached my photos as evidence.

I was looking for someone to restore our unsightly front door which is very old (30+ years) and hadn't been painted in decades. I called one of the larger heavily advertised businesses and was told a totally new door would be necessary. I knew the door was aesthetically ugly but good quality wood and it fit the frame perfectly. The quote I received was ridiculously high. I googled and found this small family business and they came by and assured me they would refinish and paint the same door. I did not expect the door to look so beautiful. I am now hiring them to paint my bland kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I'm so thankful to have found this business.

He came to my house and let me know what would be needed to get porch as good as new. Contract stated all rotted wood would be replaced and both porches would then be sanded primed and painted. Not only was the work not finished, the work that was done was sub par. Just a few months later, a lot of the paint has chipped off, boards have come lose and are coming apart. From the attached pictures you can see nothing was sanded or primed. I am not sure why the boards are already pulling up - but they are. The worst part is John Leith told me - "in writing" four times that he would come back and fix the issues: He was a "no show all our times" Below are his texts - From Oct 25 I will be back in the next couple days to take care of the stairs. Dec. 11 when boards pulled up For sure when the weather gets better. I'll send the guys back. No problem Leo. I'll stay in touch. Jan 28 No problem. Next couple weeks I'll take care of everything. no problem. I got backed up from the cold weather. I'll talk to you soon. Have a nice day. Lastly said he would be back Sunday Feb 15. No show. I'll be back at the property Sunday. Sorry been very busy with family stuff. "He never came back nor sent his crew" When I emailed him along with the pictures i posted below, his son, Vincent, said they have to check what our contract said they would do before addressing further. No where in the contract does it say they will receive payment for sup par and not completing work correctly. Lastly, when i drove by their listed address I could not find this business? Perhaps I missed it? I also added picture of address.
