I've had eyelash extensions done more times than I'd like to admit- it was love at first sight once I laid eyes on my first full set and I've been hooked ever since. On a friend's recommendation, I went to My for lashes at Myano Spa in Seattle. I loved My and followed her when she opened Fabulash in Kirkland for regular lashes over the next year. She is AMAZING. I could always rely on her for literally fabulous lashes that were so full, pretty, and always with perfect application. This review is NOT for my experiences with My. This review is an honest recount of my recent experience at Fabulash which I feel customers should have the right to know about. I made the difficult decision to take a 9 month hiatus from extensions to allow my lashes to repopulate in preparation for my wedding. Upon my return to Fabulash a week before my wedding, I learned that My no longer did lashes there. I was devastated, but Ema ensured me that _____ (I'm not goin to single her out in case she had a bad day) would do a fabulous job and take good care of me. It was the worst eyelash application I have ever had (out of maybe 50 applications). For one, the girl took less than an hour for a "full set." If she were just efficient, that would be one thing, but when I went home and looked closely- I saw that many of my natural lashes were untouched with no extensions. The lashes were not uniformly distributed, there were spaces of natural lashes amongst clusters of extensions (clumped together messily with glue), so that when you looked from above or below, there were noticeable gaps- it wasn't full and thick and uniform as I'd been accustomed to. Additionally, the lashes began to turn every which way; they were not straight and orderly like they had always been with My--they went CRAZY. They weren't precisely attached to the lashes- some were clumped together, some attached only at a single point of contact on the side of the lash. But the worst part was the way they felt- many of the lashes were applied too close to my lid, so they constantly poked my eyelid every time I blinked. When I looked closely in the mirror, there were actually lashes glued onto my eyelid skin. Having never experienced this before, I naively thought it would settle down and get better on it's own. It did not, it only got worse. On my wedding day, I had false lashes applied OVER MY EXTENSIONS because the extensions were so sparse and messy. I had never experienced a poor application like this. I didn't know what to do. I should have complained and made a fuss, I should have gone back to Fabulash for a fix, but I did not have that luxury- I left for my destination wedding the very next day, and was gone for 2 and a half weeks for the wedding and honeymoon. Of that 2.5 weeks, I spent every day scratching at my eyelids, ripping out my lashes because that gave me relief from the torture that was my extensions. I called Fabulash as soon as I returned to Seattle to inquire about lash removal. I have never had my lashes removed before--I've always just rolled them into the next fill to keep them going for a year. Even on my last set with My before my hiatus- they grew out so nicely that I let them naturally fall off. But this time was different-- every day that the lashes were on, I clawed at my eyes constantly and ripped out more extensions with my natural lashes as the unfortunate collateral damage. I called Fabulash to explain my poor experience and resultant chronic eye irritation, but Ema gave no sympathy- she bluntly stated that it would cost $40 to remove the poorly applied lashes that I had just paid $100 + tip to put on. No matter that it was a terrible job and irritated my eyes for the past 2.5 weeks and that I had already ripped out the majority of them. Ema stated I should have called within 24 hours to take them off. I explained that I didn't know I was supposed to do this, and couldn't have come back anyway because I left on a plane to Hawaii 16 hours after they were applied. I incorrectly assumed Fabulash would take care of me when I got back to Seattle. Zero empathy from Ema, just cold, unapologetic statement of their "policy." I had never known about this "policy." I have never seen it posted obviously anywhere and could not find it on their website. Lash removal is not even listed as a service, and certainly does not have a defined fee of $40. Arbitrary "policy" or not, I feel completely wronged as a customer. By principle, you should take care of your customer if something your business did directly caused them physical harm, chronic eye problems, and disfigurement. It is poor business practice and poor customer service, period. Girls: Be aware of the "policy"- call within 24 hours if your lashes don't feel right, or you'll be stuck paying even more for someone's shoddy work and your personal suffering. Fabulash: put it in writing on your website if it's a "policy" you expect customers to know. read more

If you dont care about your natural lashes and want to lose all of them, then go here. Do not get your eyelash extensions done here. They have no interest in doing a good job. They just want to get out and do as little as possible. Plus they glue your eyelashes together and clip them. I have had my eyelashes done at a million other places and none of them have been as bad as this! read more

I would love to give theses ladies a five out of five, the lashes are amazing, the price for lashes were cheaper than most and equally better quality than most, and the service was pleasant. Sadly, my mani-pedi was given Saturday and was chipping badly by Monday :( read more

Heard about Fabulash from a friend and was so excited to have lashes for my vacation to Maui. No worrying about make-up or eye lash curlers! My first appointment was with Mai and she did a great job, I loved them. I came back about 3 weeks later and asked for her again but was vaguely advised she was no longer there. Another girl took me to a room and the bed was incredibly dirty. She took over an hour for just a fill and my eyes burned the entire time, which I knew wasn't right. About a week later I decided to try a place closer to home. When the lady looked at my lashes she immediately told me they were essentially dead and falling out. She also noticed I had some sort of bacteria in the lashes which was also causing the loss of lashes. Unfortunately I now have to keep the false lashes until my new ones grow back. I'd be really careful about choosing this place. read more

Got my lashes done there a few times now. Very nice staff, great product, quality work. One little criticism, appointments, show up on time and still have to wait 15+ min. However, I still do recommend this place to all my friends. read more

I went to get my nails and my pedicure last friday and I'm so disappointed. The salon is very nice and clean but the pedicure was awful and on my nails I went for shellac to last longer and 2 days later is all chipped. It's not worth what I paid for $53.00 for only two days is ridiculous. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. Also It bothers me when the staff is talking another language in front if the customers and is obvious they are talking about the customers. The owner should be more strict on that. read more

First experience. 2 stars at best. Really nice front desk lady, but I walked in and asked how long the wait was and she said about 15 minutes. It has now been over an hour and I am still waiting. There are only 4 employees working and its frustrating that she just couldn't be honest and tell me that the wait would be over an hour. I would head over to Nail Club but they, apparently, are packed and can't take anymore appointments. Waiting now to get my nails done only to see if the quality is there. read more

The "nail artist" no longer works there and just no. They get two stars because she did a good job with my nails but it was such an awkward experience. The pictures must have been taken on a day the cleaned. Fabulash is a very nice facility with very modern decorations the place looks really great. The service was not all that great and I like how they have a lot of shellac gel nail polish but I don't think nails are their thing. The lady who helped me was decently nice but did not know how to apply the nail polish very well. I kept correcting her over and over again. Very happy with my first experience ever getting eyelash extensions here. I recommend to everyone. They really brighten your eyes and look very natural. 100 dollars for a full new set, and 50 dollars to touch up every 2-4 weeks. Tami did my lashes and she did a fabulous job. Nice place. First visit and worked with Holly. My first time doing the powder dip deal with fake nails. My concern was to make sure the nails and powder product weren't very thick and Holly was very patient with me as I played around with my new nails to see how I liked them. She than filed them down to look very natural. The ladies are overall very nice accept for one lady who doesn't greet at the entrance or smile at you. Maybe I caught her on a bad day. i had moved to Kirkland and was nervous to try a new girl to do my lash fill but was pleasantly surprised with the results. I think I've tried all of the girls for my lashes because I always make last minute appointments and they always turn out fabulous and I can go 3-4 weeks without a problem. They have always been on time, are fairly priced and always take their time filling my lashes and don't charge me extra if my fill takes more time and lashes! Go get lashed up here! read more

I love this place for shellac and eyelash extensions. They have great selection of color that is easy to find and organized. The price is good too! Very beautiful and CLEAN! I would not recommend regular polish, I did it once and after waiting an hour my nails were still not dry, the next day they had bubbles and under the coat. I think they put too many coats on and it was just a total miss. They did fix it for free the next day, so I will continue going back, just stick to Shellac! read more

I've had lashes & pedicures done here twice. The lashes looked pretty good (a little itchy the first time, maybe too close to lid?), and although I didn't go in for the lash fill, they lasted for about 3 weeks. Pedicures are VERY relaxing and I love that you get to pick your beverage, scent of scrub & lotion. They have a HUGE choice of colors and the ladies are pleasant and do cute nail art. I also like that all your services/selections are kept on paper - no surprises when you check out. Now if they would only keep my polish selection stored on file too!! :-) read more

Worst business ever!!!! It took her over a week to return my call for an initial appointment. Then She cancelled my appointment 3 times less than an hour before my appointment. The last time she cancelled was 40 minutes before while I was driving to her. Then, she got an attitude with me because I asked for a firm reschedule date. She was very unprofessional, rude and just plain ratchet! It was a Groupon so I decided to give it to my sister instead since there was no way I was letting this little girl near my eyes. Well, my sister scheduled an appointment and it was cancelled by Ki for no reason. Then, my sister had one scheduled for this morning at 10:00. Ki texted my sister at 9:40 and cancelled again. Stay away from this business. It's a scam, ripoff and just plain ghetto! I went on Groupon and Living Social and read the reviews. Apparently, she does this type of thing a lot. Many customers said that she was rude, unprofessional, cancelled their appointment at the last minute, had sub par work! I should have read the reviews before my purchase. Lesson learned! read more

I'm generally pretty satisfied with their service and have been coming here for over 3 years. I had an appointment for a lash fill today before my vacation. They apparently forgot to write it down. They didn't offer another time or try to work something out even after verifying that I in fact called. When I asked if she had a recommendation to another place and she just said "nope, sorry" and went on to help the person that they gave my appointment to. Although admittedly, the staff was very friendly and nice, I had a pretty gnarly manicure two days ago... My $30 shellac manicure not cured properly which made it lumpy because the top layer began sliding around on the middle layer and eventually peeled off later that SAME day. Not just the application of the polish/use of UV lights all screwed up, but my manicurist went to town on my fingers with those cuticle clippers. I have pretty soft cuticles and delicate fingers and don't require to much buffing or clipping but this chick would not quit!! The area around my fingernails is absolutely RAW with tons of little micro-cuts all around. Ouch! She also kept buffing my nails over and over, which have no ridges and don't require such a rough treatment. It's going to be a pain in the butt to grow out all the unnecessary damage and now my nails are all bendy, thin and weak. I pay extra for shellac so my nails are stronger and so I don't have to worry about my polish peeling off. This was an awful experience. read more

This is by far the best nail spa my wife and I have been to. There is no rushing around, very laid back atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. When I walked in they changed there minds and were no help in trying to find another time. I have been to this salon in the past for other services and they have always been amazing. Fabulash is my one stop beauty shop! Emma the owner is so sweet, professional, and super helpful. The entire staff is kind, friendly and accommodating! My lashes always look fabulous and full, and last for 3-4 weeks. I usually go to Tina, but all of the girls are amazing. My go to nail gal is Tammy. I switch back and forth between shellac and acrylic. When I have my acrylics I just show her a picture of what I like and she makes it happen! The atmosphere is great, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is spectacular. read more

Did not have a great experience here. The first time I came in for Lash Extensions and they made me wait 30 min, even though I had an appt. No apology, nothing. That is a long time to make someone wait. My Lashes were fine, the girl who did them was nice. I then had an appt. for sugaring my eyebrows since my skin is sensitive to hot wax. I laid down on the bed, the woman grabbed my face, saying nothing and the next thing I know, I feel extremely hot wax. I told her I thought Sugaring was not hot wax and she told me "yeah, I'm not going to do Sugaring on you. Hot wax today". She never asked me how I like my brows done and when she showed me when she was done I almost started crying. One brow was thick, one was really thin with a huge chunk taken out. I asked for the manager who tried to fix it but the both ended up really thin and are still growing in. She then charged me full price with no offer of a discount with all the problems. Went in for a brown/black LASH tint and came out with red BROWS. Despite telling the gal I was in for a lash tint, she kept putting the tint on my brows. She finally understood I did NOT want my brows done, wiped the stuff off and did my lashes. The lash tint was actually painful and she kept poking at my eyes. I have had lash tints from several places in the past and never had this issue. When she was done and handed me the mirror, I was horrified to see auburn brows and eyelashes as blonde as my hair. I just wanted out of there so I paid and left. So disappointing. I honestly just couldn't believe it. I should call, but have little faith they would refund my money. I have been coming to Fabulash for lashes consistently for about 3 years now. I always see Tina and she is the best! Super nice and does an AMAZING job. I always get stopped and complimented on my lashes when I am out, The experience is relaxing and I fall asleep half the time. At this point Tina knows what I like and I don't even have to explain anymore. I am in and out in about an hour - hour and 15 minutes. Their prices went up a little bit over the summer but are still very good, and they have a reward program which is nice as well. Very pleased. read more

Hoped to love this place for nails based on the reviews but either I got the wrong people or its better for eyelashes (I did not do eyelashes but the girls getting that done seemed super happy). I did shellac mani & deluxe pedicure -both more expensive than other places. The two ladies just talked the whole time- which is fine but I was really wanting to relax and couldn't. I had chosen a light toenail color just to try something different and told the lady doing my toes I wanted to test first but she was busy talking so just ignored me & slapped it on there. Then she didn't even go back to clean the edges. It looks awful. For my nails, I've done shellac for years & know I need to dry longer. I was trying to say this but she just shook her head & tapped my hands- she was not having it. Pros: tons of shellac colors! Massage chairs were awesome. Cons: extra charge for certain brands of regular polish. No explanation of different pedicure options. I did Deluxe blindly just because it was a long week. Guess it means adding hot stones. Can we all agree there's nothing fun about the hot stones? It doesn't feel great & the person having to handle it always just spends the time trying not to burn their hands. I usually dont do this, but I wish I would have seen this review before I went to this establishment. I revieved eyelash extensions here and a few hours later my eyes had an extreme allergic reaction to the eyelash glue and my eyes blew up like two bright red blimps. I understand these things happen, but it was how I was treated directly following was disgusting. I showed up at the salon the next morning 15 minutes before they opened and begged and pleaded to have them see me to get the eyelashes off. The lady at the front was everything but sympathetic. All she said back to me was "sorry, we are busy and booked today." She would not allow me 15 minutes to take them off. I decided to wait, crying hysterically. i needed them off. I prayed that by chance someone would not show up for their appointment. Someone must have been looking down on me because just as i hoped, someone did not show. After 45 minutes of pure pain, I finally had them off. I asked for a refund and it was not given. This place is not professional nor kind to their customers, even during a heath scare. I tried to call back a few days later to talk with the manager/owner and she would not call me back. I will NEVER step foot here again. This place really really is terrible. read more
