The new manager Sophie was absolutely amazing. She was very patient with me and answered all my questions. The environment was super friendly, and the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Great prices, and she truly cares about her clients. She gave me excellent advice on what I could do next time if I wanted to try acrylics, especially since I had a bad experience before. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Super nice, and I would definitely recommend this place.

I am visiting Kirkland for the summer from the Palm Springs area. I read the Yelp reviews for downtown Kirkland salons and decided to call Vivian at Top Ten Nails for a fill. She was a good listener and made sure any concerns I had as a new customer were addressed. She was very gentle, shaped my nails perfectly, and did an overall fantastic job. I will be back, so happy to find my summer place on my first try!!

She dipped the nails 5-6 times in the powder dip, so the nails became bulky and very uneven (as you can see in the photo attached). Although she was not at all friendly and did not like it, I had to ask her several times to polish them to make them even, with no success though. ** The worst thing was that these people (boss included ), were sitting there, working and badmouthing with the most vulgar, and mean words about their customers in their presence. Without knowing that I could understand their language, I was extremely uncomfortable. I had a very bad experience with this people, and I really believe they don't deserve the money

I have coming to top ten nails now for 5 years and this place is the absolute BEST. Vivian is always so sweet and welcoming and does a fantastic job. She recommended the dip after seeing my beat up nails from years of acrylic. I cannot believe how long and healthy my real nails are now! Anything I I vision, Vivian can do it. Not to mention they are so gentle I never leave with a cut like most places and the prices are fantastic!!

Their dip powder nail job was the worst anyone has ever done for me. She overused the glue to stick the tips and my whole fingers are stuck to the tips and are painful. She dipped the nails 5-6 times in the powder dip, so the nails became bulky and very uneven (as you can see in the photo attached). Although she was not at all friendly and did not like it, I had to ask her several times to polish them to make them even, with no success though. ** The worst thing was that these people (boss included ), were sitting there, working and badmouthing with the most vulgar, and mean words about their customers in their presence. I have continued to patron Top Ten Nails for about 15 years. I have never been disappointed. Vivian and Julie are amazing! Not only are my nails always done with care and are beautiful, but the ladies themselves make me want to come back. They know your name, preferences, and remember things about your life. I consider them constants in my life at this point. They keep up to date with the latest nail trends and keep quality products on hand. Walk-ins are welcomed, however, always book the day before. Vivian and Julie are so invested in their customers that they take time to create beautiful, quality, nail care. Usually, if they are busy when you walk in, they can put you down for the nearest appointment available. Which works out because the salon's location is close to so many good coffee shops and restaurants its a nice way to wait for your appointment. I've seen them handle the most entitled, nasty, impatient (sometimes racist) customers with care and patience. I will always recommend Top Ten. Continued great customer service and care, and they create beautiful nails too! read more

I have been here twice to get SNS dip manicures. Keep in mind this was the first place I have been to for the process. And it's quite a process! But the outcome is really nice, shiny and lasts super long. I do think they have an awesome selection of colors and the ladies are very nice. Unfortunately I have a couple gripes with top ten and I don't think I'll be returning... 1. They didn't push back my cuticles the first time I went. The second time I had to ask specifically and they seemed a little bothered/put out. I want my cuticles pushed back so the manicure goes all the way to the edge and lasts longer. Seems pretty reasonable - right? 2. I am pretty particular with my nails and I just don't think it is as clean as it could be around the cuticles and sides of the nail. Like it's not as straight of a line as I expect. 3. They charged me an extra $5 to take off the dip powder when I was getting new dip powder. I have done shellac before and been charged when I went from shellac to non-shellac. But going from dip to dip I was surprised about the up charge. My friend that goes to a salon says she doesn't pay extra, so not sure why they charge extra here. read more

Went to Top Ten Nails for the first time after coming back from a fun vacation. I had not heard much about the salon but saw that it had good ratings and wanted to try and it was a great decision!! All of the ladies were so kind and they seated me immediately! I tried the SNS dip powder nail polish there for the first time and loved it! The lady working on my nails informed me on all the details about the SNS dip powder, took her time and made sure that I was liking her work! Please do yourself a favor and do NOT go here. My usual nail salon, Nail Club in Kirkland, was full today so I looked for another place nearby with good reviews. I took two other girlfriends along with me and from the very start they were rude, scolded us for being late to a nail appointment (even though we were the only ones there and called ahead to tell them we were running behind), and very unfriendly. The service itself is was horrible, the lady cut my toe, and my girlfriend had a hair inside her nail that was definitely not her own... needless to say definitely will not go back and would encourage you to go elsewhere. Plenty of other places in the area WAY better than this! read more

Overall a great experience! I took my girlfriend here and she was welcomed with the best customer service I've ever witnessed. They warmly welcomed her and were very quick to help. The owner is so sweet and genuine and that goes the same with everyone that works here! The place is very clean, cute, and petite! The workers are nice and is always asking if we are comfortable in our seats and during the mani/pedi. I think the review that Lorena C wrote was overly too dramatic. There are student discounts which is amazing for young adults!! I will always come here when I have the time to pamper myself!! This place is the way to go!! read more

Would not recommend at all! I've tried them twice and both times I had an apt. And both times they have not had enough people working for how many people were in there with appointments. Both times I've sat and waited while they helped other customers even though I had an apt for that time! They don't seem to value people making apts at all. The second time I was in, as I was finishing up they told me that I needed to use Venmo or cash. I didn't have enough cash and I don't want to use Venmo at a business like that. She tried to get me to use Venmo at the previous apt too and I didn't want to. After paying, Vivian made multiple rude comments about how much I tipped and tried to argue with me. I will never go back there. Absolutely zero customer service read more

I've had my nails done at dozens of places around the greater Seattle area, and this is now my favorite nail shop, hands down. Most recently they redid my shellac after a different nail shop did a sub-par job. I was stunned by the difference in quality - the other nail salon left my nails looking too thick, with a sloppy paint job. The ladies at Top Ten Nails are friendly and accommodating, and they always remember me (and even my boyfriend, who stopped in to say hi). Plus, they did an awesome job with my eyebrows as well! I would definitely recommend them above other nail shops. read more

I have been going exclusively to Top Ten Nails for the past 20 years. The service is incredible, the people are friendly and honest, and they will not overcharge you like other salons. Vivian and the ladies always find a way to make sure I get attentive care and the look I am going for. I get dip and the results last for weeks on end! Any time I am careless and decide to do heavy manual work after my manicures (I need to learn my lesson lol) they are always helpful in making sure my nails are back to looking beautiful. They are attentive and patient with kids and elderly alike. In the middle of it, one of the machines ran out of battery and they did not notice and when they went to do a second coat, everything got really wrinkled. I have been going to Vivian since I was 15 (I'm 20 now) and she is by far the best nail tech in the area! I have been to several other salons but never left as happy as I do when I leave top ten. The whole staff is so kind and always are smiling and laughing. it is a great environment everyone is extremely friendly. They always ask me about what's new in my life and how I am doing. From cleanliness, quality of service, and over all care of their clients Top Ten is the best place to get your beauty treatments done. I shopped around at lots of nail salons over several years before finding Top Ten. I prefer shellac/gel manicures with CND polish, but at other salons, I found the removal process painful, and after a few applications, my nails would be very damaged. I have stuck with Top Ten for months now, because they remove the polish without pain, and my nails are in the best condition they've ever been in. Vivian and Julie always give me gel manicures that last. read more

This is my favorite place to get a manicure, pedicure and wax. The manager, Vivian is very Kind and tries to meet and exceed customer expectations. I usually get the French SNS Manicure.
