The new manager Sophie was absolutely amazing. She was very patient with me and answered all my questions. The environment was super friendly, and the staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Great prices, and she truly cares about her clients. She gave me excellent advice on what I could do next time if I wanted to try acrylics, especially since I had a bad experience before. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Super nice, and I would definitely recommend this place.

Gel manicure with cat eye effect and a small polka dot design.

Top ten nails is my new favorite spot! Sophie the owner is amazing and so detailed in her work, I've never been so happy with a set of nails! I got a gel manicure with a little design and it's was beautifully executed. The energy within the salon is so calm and tranquil I wish I could stay all day. I cannot wait to go back!

Absolutely love my nails! The design is flawless, super clean and elegant. The technician was very patient and detail-oriented. The whole experience was relaxing and professional. Highly recommend!

Top Ten Nails is one of the best nail salons I have ever visited. I regularly get acrylic nails with gel polish so I have lots of experience with various salons. I am visiting Kirkland for the summer from the Palm Springs area. I read the Yelp reviews for downtown Kirkland salons and decided to call Vivian at Top Ten Nails for a fill. She was a good listener and made sure any concerns I had as a new customer were addressed. She was very gentle, shaped my nails perfectly, and did an overall fantastic job. I will be back, so happy to find my summer place on my first try!!

Fantastic experience always. Best deluxe pedicure. The massage is unbelievable. Pedicure chairs are new and very comfortable. Asked for Seahawk vibe today. Love it

Their dip powder nail job was the worst anyone has ever done for me. She overused the glue to stick the tips and my whole fingers are stuck to the tips and are painful. She dipped the nails 5-6 times in the powder dip, so the nails became bulky and very uneven (as you can see in the photo attached). Although she was not at all friendly and did not like it, I had to ask her several times to polish them to make them even, with no success though. ** The worst thing was that these people (boss included ), were sitting there, working and badmouthing with the most vulgar, and mean words about their customers in their presence. Without knowing that I could understand their language, I was extremely uncomfortable. I had a very bad experience with this people, and I really believe they don't deserve the money

They just remodeled the store now it looks really nice and comfortable!! Vivian is the owner really nice and did a good job

Vivian and get staff are more than exceptional! It was my first time at her salon and they took great care of me! I have found my new salon!

Came here for the first time today and all the ladies were SO sweet. My nails are perfect she listened to exactly what I wanted ( Thank you, Julie!!) I will definitely be back this is my new favorite Kirkland nail salon!

My long time nail salon closed for remodeling so I was left trying and failing many places. A friend recommended Vivian at Top 10 Nails and she is amazing!! I get dip and recently had a pedicure and I highly recommend. This is my fourth time seeing her and honestly I may never go back to my old salon even after they reopen.

I have coming to top ten nails now for 5 years and this place is the absolute BEST. Vivian is always so sweet and welcoming and does a fantastic job. She recommended the dip after seeing my beat up nails from years of acrylic. I cannot believe how long and healthy my real nails are now! Anything I I vision, Vivian can do it. Not to mention they are so gentle I never leave with a cut like most places and the prices are fantastic!!

Best nails in Kirkland. Vi has amazing attention to detail and my dip manicures last 4 weeks and are always a source of compliments. Never disappoints. Kind and attentive staff. Been coming here for 8+ years

I have continued to patron Top Ten Nails for about 15 years. I have never been disappointed. Vivian and Julie are amazing! Not only are my nails always done with care and are beautiful, but the ladies themselves make me want to come back. They know your name, preferences, and remember things about your life. I consider them constants in my life at this point. They keep up to date with the latest nail trends and keep quality products on hand. Walk-ins are welcomed, however, always book the day before. Vivian and Julie are so invested in their customers that they take time to create beautiful, quality, nail care. Usually, if they are busy when you walk in, they can put you down for the nearest appointment available. Which works out because the salon's location is close to so many good coffee shops and restaurants its a nice way to wait for your appointment. I've seen them handle the most entitled, nasty, impatient (sometimes racist) customers with care and patience. I will always recommend Top Ten. Continued great customer service and care, and they create beautiful nails too! read more

I have been here twice to get SNS dip manicures. Keep in mind this was the first place I have been to for the process. And it's quite a process! But the outcome is really nice, shiny and lasts super long. I do think they have an awesome selection of colors and the ladies are very nice. Unfortunately I have a couple gripes with top ten and I don't think I'll be returning... 1. They didn't push back my cuticles the first time I went. The second time I had to ask specifically and they seemed a little bothered/put out. I want my cuticles pushed back so the manicure goes all the way to the edge and lasts longer. Seems pretty reasonable - right? 2. I am pretty particular with my nails and I just don't think it is as clean as it could be around the cuticles and sides of the nail. Like it's not as straight of a line as I expect. 3. They charged me an extra $5 to take off the dip powder when I was getting new dip powder. I have done shellac before and been charged when I went from shellac to non-shellac. But going from dip to dip I was surprised about the up charge. My friend that goes to a salon says she doesn't pay extra, so not sure why they charge extra here. read more

Went to Top Ten Nails for the first time after coming back from a fun vacation. I had not heard much about the salon but saw that it had good ratings and wanted to try and it was a great decision!! All of the ladies were so kind and they seated me immediately! I tried the SNS dip powder nail polish there for the first time and loved it! The lady working on my nails informed me on all the details about the SNS dip powder, took her time and made sure that I was liking her work! I was very pleased with the results in the end as well as the reasonable prices they offer! This place is worth checking out! I will for sure be back for more! read more

Please do yourself a favor and do NOT go here. My usual nail salon, Nail Club in Kirkland, was full today so I looked for another place nearby with good reviews. I took two other girlfriends along with me and from the very start they were rude, scolded us for being late to a nail appointment (even though we were the only ones there and called ahead to tell them we were running behind), and very unfriendly. The service itself is was horrible, the lady cut my toe, and my girlfriend had a hair inside her nail that was definitely not her own... needless to say definitely will not go back and would encourage you to go elsewhere. Plenty of other places in the area WAY better than this! read more

The workers are nice and is always asking if we are comfortable in our seats and during the mani/pedi. I think the review that Lorena C wrote was overly too dramatic. Would not recommend at all! I've tried them twice and both times I had an apt. And both times they have not had enough people working for how many people were in there with appointments. Both times I've sat and waited while they helped other customers even though I had an apt for that time! They don't seem to value people making apts at all. The second time I was in, as I was finishing up they told me that I needed to use Venmo or cash. I didn't have enough cash and I don't want to use Venmo at a business like that. She tried to get me to use Venmo at the previous apt too and I didn't want to. After paying, Vivian made multiple rude comments about how much I tipped and tried to argue with me. I will never go back there. Absolutely zero customer service read more

I've had my nails done at dozens of places around the greater Seattle area, and this is now my favorite nail shop, hands down. Most recently they redid my shellac after a different nail shop did a sub-par job. I was stunned by the difference in quality - the other nail salon left my nails looking too thick, with a sloppy paint job. The ladies at Top Ten Nails are friendly and accommodating, and they always remember me (and even my boyfriend, who stopped in to say hi). Plus, they did an awesome job with my eyebrows as well! I would definitely recommend them above other nail shops. read more

I was really disappointed with my experience at this nail salon. I came in for both a manicure and…read morea pedicure, and the final result was far from what I expected. The work felt rushed and sloppy, with several basic steps clearly skipped. The finish was uneven and lacked attention to detail, which is unacceptable given the prices they charge. What bothered me the most was the hygiene. The tools did not appear to be properly sterilized and were reused between clients, which is honestly concerning and made me very uncomfortable. Cleanliness should be a non negotiable standard in a nail salon, especially when it comes to personal care services. On top of that, they require a minimum 18 percent tip, which feels completely unjustified considering the poor quality of the service. The prices are already high, and for such mediocre results and questionable hygiene practices, it simply does not make sense. I will not be coming back. It is a real shame because I was hoping to find a high quality, professional nail salon, but this was definitely not it. Edit : I think you should remind your employees about the hygiene more than remind me that I can ask about tipping options

I have been going to Vivian since I was 15 (I'm 20 now) and she is by far the best nail tech in the area! I have been to several other salons but never left as happy as I do when I leave top ten. The whole staff is so kind and always are smiling and laughing. it is a great environment everyone is extremely friendly. They always ask me about what's new in my life and how I am doing. I have recommended many friends to them and they all tell me about how wonderful there experience was at top ten! They are very affordable and offer a student discount and a great selection of services! I highly recommend this salon! -Olivia read more

I have been going to Top Ten for almost 20 years. I have never had a bad experience with them. From cleanliness, quality of service, and over all care of their clients Top Ten is the best place to get your beauty treatments done. Vivian and the ladies are always so kind and my nails and toes look beautiful every time. I recently went there to get my nails done for my engagement shoot and Julie knocked it out of the park like she always does. I literally cannot think of any other place to go to. read more

I shopped around at lots of nail salons over several years before finding Top Ten. I prefer shellac/gel manicures with CND polish, but at other salons, I found the removal process painful, and after a few applications, my nails would be very damaged. I have stuck with Top Ten for months now, because they remove the polish without pain, and my nails are in the best condition they've ever been in. Vivian and Julie always give me gel manicures that last. read more

This has been my go to nail salon the last few years. I have always tipped 20% because I think…read moretheir nail techs are super skilled and I have always left happy with pretty nails. In my last visit however, I received gel x and I noticed an air-bubble about 2 mm in diameter under the nail, with a little line connected to the air bubble that extended close to the tip of my real nail. I brought up my concern of moisture potentially getting under my nails (can lead to nail fungal infection, which happened to me before) to the tech after the nail was cured, and she reassured me that it wont happen. I chose to listen to her because I trusted her judgement. My nails are completed and I think they look great, I paid and tipped 20% and go on with my day. I go home and I am trying to see the air bubble under my nails but I cant bc theres polish on top, so I shined a light under my finger and I could see it. I washed my hands, and looked at the airbubble again with the light underneath and the bubble looks different which means something got underneath the nail, likely water. I check the rest of my nails and i see another smaller airbubble on another finger. The next morning, I drive 20 min to the salon and get there right when they open, and asked if they could redo the 2 nails because theres is water underneath (at least one of them). The lady at the counter asks if I can come back at 11 (an hr later) and they will fix it, and I agree with no issue because I know how busy they get with appointments (looking back, addressing a potential health concern should have been the priority). I come back an hour later, get seated with a nail tech, and as I am explaining what is going on and showing the tech the airbubble with the light underneath my finger, not even after I am done explaining, she cuts me off and says "thats not water its just the gel", and "no one shines a light under their finger" (as if what I am doing is dumb??), but I was literally just trying to show her the airbubble since you cant see it with with the nail polish on top...I explained how the airbubble looked different before and after I washed my hands the night before which means something got underneath my nail and I am just concerned about a potential nail infection since it has happened to me before. I really didnt appreciate how argumentative she got right off the bat. I was talking softly as well to not disturb the people sitting right next to me getting their nails done but she was talking in normal volume, talking to the other nail techs in vietnamese, and I just felt very unheard and put on the spot, when I am just voicing a potential health concern. I thought it would be a simple, quick get my 2 nails redone no questions asked, but I instead had to sit there and almost like defend why I am concerned, and persuade her to redo my nail. I also just drove 20 min and waited an hour and was told they could fix my nails. Eventually she said she can redo the one nail but "there is no warranty if your nails end up hurting because if I redo your freshly done nail, your nail is going to hurt because the nail is going to be thinner", and I asked her to just redo my nail (since thats obviously better than risking a nail infection??) She ended up just redoing the one nail with the bigger airbubble without even acknowledging the other finger I mentioned but by that point I just wanted to get out of there and away from that environment. The redone nail looks fine but I am just incredibly disappointed by the service, especially since I have supported their business and recommended my friends there in the last few years. The photo I attached is from their website where they state that their customer's health and safety is important to them...which does not align with my experience. It's no secret that the techs are talented, but the moment you have a concern about your nails, even a health concern, good luck.
