The store picks items based on trends, brands, season, what sells well for them, and condition. I love Finders Keepers. I have been consigning with them for about a month now and have sold a ton of stuff. The women who work there have been nothing but friendly and kind to me. When they don't accept an item of mine, it's not an issue. Not every piece of clothing is going to be wanted! I think the prices are really reasonable, especially for very lightly used or even new expensive clothing. I love how they get new clothes in daily so I'm never bored with the selection!

My advice to anyone consigning is - use the website to keep track of your items! I've noticed discrepancies on occasion, but the worst thing that happened to me was when my brand new Dooney & Burke cross body bag was somehow "switched" with an "as is" Dooney & Burke shoulder bag that was almost worthless I noticed this error on line and went to the store the next day and OMG - they went to the back room and pulled out the "as is" shoulder bag - which looked absolutely nothing like the bag I brought in. It was very dirty and basically falling apart and I was surprised that they even accepted this to sell. They corrected the situation, but if I hadn't noticed this by checking on-line, I'm sure that I would have taken a big hit. I still don't understand what happened as the two bags did not look anything like one another. The other thing to do is mark on your calendar when your items expire at the store - so you can pick them up if they don't sell and either donate to the charity of your choice or try to sell elsewhere. As far as the people that work there, some of them are friendly and others not so much. It's really just business in the end, so I don't care so much about some of the strange attitudes and the frequent excuses for not accepting items: we have too much black now - or these are brands we don't take - when they selected the same brands last time I was there and the same brands are hanging on the rack! It's just par for the course when doing business here.

I really like this Loft, especially as compared to others I have visited. These days my sizes are easier to find in stores, yet I still mostly shop online. Returning things usually ends up being what brings me to the store. Despite this, the sales people are always very friendly and attentive. They always offer to help me find something or offer their opinion (if I ask for it). I am not a pay-retail kind of shopper, and the staff doesn't look down their noses at me if I mention looking for a bargain. To me, it is a nice environment. I don't doubt the experiences that others have had there; I had similarly poor experience at a different Loft store recently. But maybe things have changed at the Emory Point store since the poor reviews from 2016 and 2018. This Loft store has a good selection of sizes and I like being able to see the new styles they have on offer, which they seem to update pretty regularly. I even have bought some things in store!

I've spent quite a few weekends there taking everything from sewing and flower arranging to candle making, and every single class has been a joyful experience. There's something refreshing about stepping away from a screen and actually making something with your hands. The boutique side is just as great--it's packed with unique, high-quality gifts from local makers, so you're always finding something one-of-a-kind. Plus, they give you 20% off any purchases on the day you take a class, which makes it nearly impossible to leave empty-handed. If you're looking for a new hobby or just want to support the local creative scene, you really can't beat the vibe here.

It's easy to get lost in here because there is so much amazing stuff to choose from. Jewelry, clothing, food, crafts, soaps, and much more. I found things that I didn't even know I needed in here and I can't wait to go back. I saw some cologne and intention candles that I want. The price of their items range from $4 - $100 for certain things, but from what I saw the value outweighed the price repeatedly. The best part, again, is supporting so many other businesses in one place. Kudos to the owners for having such an awesome vision. There's lots of parking here because they are located off Caroline in that shopping area. Parking is free too. The shop is super organized and Mari greets everyone who comes in. You will leave with something.
