Her gift was perfect as Dermalogica is conveniently located inside Rustan's department store in Glorietta. The dedicated are for Dermalogica at the top floor is simple, clean and straightforward, much like their services. They have lockers where you may deposit your belongings, then change into their robe (more like a wrap-around towel actually) before getting treatments done. The treatment was the "usual", minus the invasive pricking and squeezing, as they have a different technique for extracting impurities from the face. I also like that the process is gentle enough to allow me to get forty winks. I would definitely recommend Dermalogica tot hose who want quality, straightforward services, with the convenience of location.

If you go next door to Nailandia the full face threading would have costed about 500 pesos. I did not know the price difference until after I had done the service. The facial was great because the technician really did a deep clean on my face. She even showed me all the blackheads she extracted from my face. The total time the facial and the threading took was about 2 1/2 hours long which was great. The massage that accompanied the service was not that great though. We visit to get our massage treatments whenever we visit the Philippines. It is a bit pricier than other places but well worth it with the services they offer. With the new location, they only have private rooms for massages. We snooked the premier suite that comes with steam Bath and shower. Our first treatment was Sea salt body scrub to remove the dead skin. Next we had our choice of massage... had the deep tissue and my wife had the Swedish massage. Boy, they are strong. My back was sore and they were able to relieve some of the stiffness from seating. They told me to come back for another round as my back is still stiff and and need another massage. Last was the Thai foot massage (with stick). That as a bit painful... and it's only painful if there is something wrong. In my case, plenty. lol. Fell asleep as they were working on my right foot. That's always a good sign if you feel so relieved from the massage that you fell asleep. Definitely going back. My body was a little sore after but that's also good sign. I asked my friend who lives in Manila if she's ever experienced their Clinic. She said no, but to different clinics one of which is in BGC. I looked up both clinics websites and contacted them with a few inquiries about what I'd be interested in and perhaps make an appointment. A day later, I get a Viber message from a customer service person from CV who was happy to help me out. With the concerns and interests I have, there was an appointment later that afternoon but only one time slot available to do all the treatments I'm looking forward to doing. I still have not heard from my friend's recommendation and purged that idea. The agent did a pre-consultation, but suggested I needed to come in for my appointment so that my skin can be assessed in person. I gladly took the 3:30pm appointment on a Thursday afternoon. Once I arrived, I'm pleased with how pretty the front lobby is. Met with one technician and had a few questions answered. Let's just say I spent 4 hours at Cathy Valencia, had 3 ladies work on 3 different treatments/procedures, amazed at the cleanliness, professionalism, detail oriented with the work, also purchased 3 different face creams and a face wash which I was instructed to use in place of my regular beauty products for 2 weeks until the healing is complete. According to the website, CV has 6 branches all around Metro Manila and a branch in Tokyo & Nagoya! I can somehow get to Tokyo a little bit easier as I occasionally have work trips to Japan.
