Really great service. They are renovating so the atmosphere isn't great but the ladies working on our nails were so kind and did a great job.

A relaxing nail spa! It's located in a corner that doesn't get much foot traffic but they seem to have all their seats filled with customers! I opted for a Gel pedicure and a parrafin was treatment on my feet. The whole service costing me about 1,500 pesos. I sat (reclined) comfortably in a cushioned chair for about 2 hours. Relaxing music plays in the speakers but no matter how much I wanted to, I couldn't doze off - not the nail technicians fault. I wanted my nails painted white and usually this color is hard for some technicians to do, but my technician was able to execute it really well and did a very clean job! Too bad I don't remember her name!!!!! The nail color examples aren't many, but if you request a certain color, they will try their best to look for it. The Parrafin treatment left my feet feeling really smooth and soft! Definitely enjoyed it! Only downer is that they don't really give me a good leg rub/massage. It just felt so rushed. The experience also ends with a really short shoulder rub/massage. Don't expect much when it comes to the "massage". Other than that, a clean pedicure with polish will be done really well!

As far as being accommodating, they were great. I had a reservation for a handful of people but on the day of our appointments, many people were held up significantly by traffic. We were quick to let the salon know and we might have adjusted plans 3 times in an hour. They were great about trying to accommodate us as much as possible. The actual service itself wasn't that great though. The rattan baskets with the white tubs covered with plastic bags filled with warm water are cute, I guess. But for the price you pay, you'd hope for the proper foot spa machines with the jets. They also didn't have anything to help the nail polish dry. I didn't care for that either. The lady who did my pedicure kept twisting my toe or my foot uncomfortably. I suppose it made it easier for her to do her job but it was painful. I nicely asked for her multiple times to not to that because it hurt but she just kept doing it anyway. The nail polish they used also wasn't the best quality. I made it a point to allow it to dry for a long time. A couple of hours after leaving the salon (where I sat for about 20 minutes after my appointment), I reached into my purse for my wallet and immediately ruined a couple of my nails. With regular showering and hand washing, the nail polish chipped within 48 hours. My boyfriend didn't have anywhere to go while waiting for me so he decided to get a massage while I got my nails done. They gave him a back massage while he was seated next to everyone getting their mani pedis. The lady just had him scoot forward on his seat so she could massage his back while he was hunched over. She put a hand towel over his shirt and massaged him through those layers. At all the other places where we got massages in the Philippines, the price was similar to the massage he got here but this was by far the most half-assed effort. Overall, you're paying for their real estate here more than anything else. So many other cheaper options with better equipment and service.

Not bad and not great either. The paint job on my nails look good. Massage sucks, it's more like a 5 second tapping and the scrub sucks. I think they're just being lazy.

Nail Tropics is like my secret little nail spa that I really don't want to share with others. But, unfortunately for me, they already have a lot of other fans. Which means if you want to get your mani-pedi, you need to make an appointment since they are usually fully booked. I love the look and feel of the place: nature-inspired setting and comfortable seating. Their nail artisans are also very nice and very professional. The treatments are all very affordable. You can get the a Classic mani-pedi for only P375 which includes cleaning, trimming, buffing and polishing. If you have more time, get the spa treatments which already includes a Swedish hand massage and a pedicure spa which includes a therapeutic foot massage. I love that they use local and organic ingredients for the spa treatments and they even have a vegan option. It really is an oasis in the middle of Makati Business District.

The nail art here is pretty good, comparing to other nail salons I've been to like Nail It (dont think they hv Nail art there), the cashier is not so friendly and she didnt gve me any receipt after I paid, had a feeling that I actually over paid but because I'm in a rush, I just left. But the artisan who did my nail art was good, her name is Kaitlyn. And the lady who did my footspa did a great massage on my feet, her name is Joy. It was full when I came on a sunday, the place was never empty. Will definitely go back again and make sure will ask for receipt this time :)

Sorry this is the only photo I could actually find but Joan hooked me up with some almond shaped acrylics to die for.

Treat yo self! This salon/spa is divine! It's clean, welcoming and relaxing. The women are super lovely and friendly and go to every extent to pamper you. My partner and I had an incredible experience here. I had acrylics put on and a gel mani and pedi while my man got himself a foot spa. Be aware that they do everything manually here so if you're going to get acrylics then prepare to give up a good chunk of your day (like 3 hours). The scenery is so relaxing you won't mind being stuck in the fluffy chairs for a few hours. Joan did my nails and she was amazing!! I definitely recommend them, they actually know what they're doing as nail technicians unlike another salon I visited in greenbelt.

I was able to get a last minute reservation for the 3 of us. I couldn't be happier with the service and the calming location with AC, soft music and comfortable chairs. The service was amazing - we had two Nail Artisans assigned to the each of us. Their work was perfect - great attention to detail and very skillful. Thank you to Jolly and Aliza! I will return the next time I'm back in Makati.

Recently availed their olive oil footspa & gel mani. Done separately by 2 diff nail techs. Was happy w their services. Ask for Malou & Ivy

I walked in for my first pedicure here during a quick trip to Manila and wow, it was honestly one of the best I've had anywhere.

I got cold water, massage was like 5 min total and the scrub was like a minute a leg, the nail polish was not placed over base coat, The nail polish was not cleaned up well from my skin and generally not a good experience. Don't even get me started on the manicure. The file was not filing properly so I have uneven nails and not the shape I wanted, even after asking twice. Then I had to ask her to clean my cuticle up several times for different fingers. Again no base coast and since I got clear, only placed the top coat. What a waste of time and money. Additionally the place needs an update badly. Stained everything, broken fabric, the fans are in shambles...never again!

A few seat locations need to be reupholstered, but they cover those areas with a towel. This place looks much nicer and cleaner than most nail salons. There is usually a movie playing. If you're the only one having your nails done, you could usually ask them to play a different movie. Let's get started with the All Out Diva Pedicure that I pamper myself with. Nica (Veronica) soaks my feet in nice warm water. She applies a mask onto my feet and calves, then wraps it with cellophane. She proceeds to cut my toe nails and cuticles. Afterwards, an exfoliation scrub is massaged onto my calves and feet. They are then wrapped with a towel. After ? minutes, the scrub is rinsed off with warm water. A warm towel is used to remove whatever might have been left behind. The calves and feet are massaged with an oil. Lotion is then added onto the calves and feet in which the massage continues. As one calf/foot is being massaged, the other side is covered with a towel. You'll need to let her know if you want a soft or hard massage. Afterwards, both legs are covered with a towel. The towels are removed and my feet are individually placed within plastic bags filled with paraffin wax. Booties are placed on top of the plastic bags, and the calves are wrapped with a towel. After ? minutes, the towel, bootie, plastic and wax is removed. The calves and feet are wiped down with a dry towel. An under coat is applied onto my toe nails. A double coat of the base coat is applied. My French tips are then painted on. The top coat is the end of my pedicure. I then go under the fans to dry the nail polish. Sounds awesome right? That is because it is! All that wonderful pampering for 1000 Pesos. I usually come mid-week, and I like being Nica's last customer of the day. I make sure I tip Nica well, because it is my way of thanking her for the amount of time she takes to pamper me.

Yes, you can say that I'm kind of a perfectionist when it comes to looking for the perfect nail salon. Nail Cocktales has been my nail salon of choice for nearly a year now since I moved from my old salon. The place always smells so fresh and clean with equipment they apparently sterilize after every use. I have had the chance to get to know the owner and I am quite impressed by how she runs her business. We visit to get our massage treatments whenever we visit the Philippines. It is a bit pricier than other places but well worth it with the services they offer. With the new location, they only have private rooms for massages. We snooked the premier suite that comes with steam Bath and shower. Our first treatment was Sea salt body scrub to remove the dead skin. Next we had our choice of massage... had the deep tissue and my wife had the Swedish massage. Boy, they are strong. My back was sore and they were able to relieve some of the stiffness from seating. They told me to come back for another round as my back is still stiff and and need another massage. Last was the Thai foot massage (with stick). That as a bit painful... and it's only painful if there is something wrong. In my case, plenty. lol. Fell asleep as they were working on my right foot. That's always a good sign if you feel so relieved from the massage that you fell asleep. Definitely going back. My body was a little sore after but that's also good sign.
