One of the things I've encountered is that gel polish is the bee's knees. It lasts longer, has a more impressive luster, and is just leagues better than regular polish. The downside with it is that the whole process is longer as it takes quite a few coatings to perfect. Coco Nail Studio in Alabang however, is proud to offer a faster way of applying gel polish with their exclusive (for now?) machines that chops off more than half the time required, making the coating dry in seconds. Even I'm impressed. The speed of the process is almost a bad thing, as the interiors of Coco Nail Studio make you want to stay there for copious amounts of time. They opted to use regular sofas to do the nail spa treatments, so you're always comfortable in your seat. I don't have my nails done but I'd recommend Coco Nail Studio to anyone in a heartbeat.

You can pay as low as P150 up to P500 depending on your preference. I must admit that I always go to nail salons with the latter price range because I'm cheap like that haha. I went to CANS once and had a relaxing time. The therapists were all great and they use really good nail brands compared to the ones used in el cheapo salons. The interiors here are impeccable, you won't find a single nail on the floor and the room doesn't smell like cheap chemicals aka mertayolet. I wish I could come here more often and rub shoulders with its classy clientele hehe. Maybe someday, but not today.
