It's pretty convenient actually. It's in a building that has a supermarket, a drugstore and a clothing shop. Now, back to David's Salon. It's not a high end David's Salon, but they do offer all the services the other branches have. Their staff are so friendly and patient. They don't try to talk to you and spill gossip while doing your hair or your nails. Yup, professional people. Also, they'll give you their opinion about the haircut you want and will tell you if it will look good or bad. I really appreciate that. If you want to be sure that they can accommodate you, call them up and set an appointment. Look for Sir Arnold. He knows what he's doing and does it well.

It's one of those salons that promises to give you a quick and fair service without breaking your wallet. David Salon falls in the middle of the spectrum of chain salons. It's more expensive than Reyes Salon but a lot cheaper than Piandre. I've never had a bad experience here and I can see why it has become the go-to salon for middle-class men and women. Tips: 1. Save your money! Don't go to a senior stylist if you only need a trim or a basic cut. It's the same. 2. Bring your own nail polish. Most of the colors they offer are basic.

It was a very awkward experience to come to this salon. It is convenient located in resorts world…read moreso I can walk there. I really don't like that they didn't welcome me when I walked in. I started to talk but they were looking at me. I think if a salon is located in the mall then they should be comfortable talking to foreigners. I stayed anyways with the awkward greeting. I kept telling them I want gray highlights. I showed photos and we agreed for it to be ombré highlights. It didn't turn out that way. The guy cutting my hair also just chopped away and not checking if it's even. I just gave up with telling them what I wanted since they didn't give me a response whenever I said anything. The lady next to me kept yelling at them for hours telling them what she wants and they let it happen. When I finally told them that lady is annoying and asking when my hair would be completed the lady finally left. I was watching a show on my phone and I could hear her clearly still since she was so loud. It's a business and she was very loud and obnoxious. Should've thrown her out. I also had a pedicure and the girl kept stabbing my feet. No apology or anything and she kept trying to stop the bleeding. I really don't think they wanted to speak to me. I'll probably wait until my gray hair grows out again and get it recolored and cut.

When it comes to good haircuts, I'd have to say that David's Salon is one of the best there is…read more Sure, you can get a haircut for as low as P40 these days but there really is no assurance that you're getting a good one. In fact, I've tried that myself and have often regretted the decision to do a budget cut right after. David's does not employ hair cutters, they have hair stylists. You know you are working with really great people when they spend more than 5 minutes on just the bangs and another 30 or so getting my unruly hair to look even. I also love their coloring service. The colors are very nice and subtle but it does make a big difference in the way you look. Just a fair warning, the colorant they use may feel like your scalp is burning but the color takes really well. Plus, it doesn't take the usual two hours plus heating, just a 45-minute shampoo session with the colorant and you're done. Here's the only downside with David's, it's hard to get the actual pricing from them when you're getting your hair done. They don't really tell you until the very end, and by then they've already started on your hair and you can't really back out. It can get pretty annoying because it's happened to me twice in this branch - first when I was getting my hair rebonded and second when I was getting it colored. I think a little bit of transparency would be appreciated by their loyal customers. Plus the upselling of other products for maintenance is not really recommended because customers already pay a lot for their services. But other than that, I'm pretty happy with the basic haircut and the coloring service. The results are always beautiful.

A Japanese based beauty shop in SM Mall of Asia in the S Maison mall section. I had a hard time…read morelooking for this shop cuz it's so hidden to me in the mall and asking guards around didn't even know of this shop?! This S Maison section is in the high end of the mall. They are actually new a year ago in this shop. Their other shop in Taguig was where I wanted to go but they are under construction and they were there for three years. There are many asians when I came to this shop so I thought it must be good. They do nails, hair and other things besides lashes. I am only reviewing based on my lashes. They didn't have a time slot to do my nails. Came to this chain based on a recommendation from a friend of a friend in the states for how they put their lashes and glue they used but I believe the staff is new here or they have staff who only does certain things so every question I had, they had to ask. Stephanie was really friendly and nice, and did a good job on my lashes but she was slow to me. My lash beautician in the states only takes less than hour for more lashes put on. Stephanie should have made suggestions for me based on what I liked for full lashes verses what I wanted to start with. They go by how many lashes I wanted?? How was I supposed to know how many lashes I use?? I just wanted a full natural lash look based on the picture she showed me! I thought 100 lashes was enough (50 each eye) but I was wrong so I asked to add 40 more (20 each eye). It still wasn't enough. I was there for two hours that I fell asleep! I wanted to ask for 40 more but that would take more time! By this time, I was irritated, I wanted to go already since this took so much time. I really wished she knew how many I needed. If I need lashes, I would still come back as I like the glue they use (Korea brand) but my stylist in US said their is an ingredient that causes cancer. Stephanie showed me the glue pkg and it says made in Korea (I took a pic). By the time I come back here, the ladies will know what to suggest....I hope! I always need more lashes due to all the swim activities I do here in the Philippines. At least, I know now for next time that 180- 200 lashes maybe needed for a full natural look on me. Make sure you know how many lashes you need before going here as they don't make suggestions for you. Also, you have to have the time to spend here. I think this is a decent place as well for the prices for this area. They just need to speed up the time! [129/100]

They only…read morehave about 6 or 7 polishes to choose from, because apparently they do more gel services. First of all - they don't take out ingrown toenails. Which is the main reason I get pedicures. (Which is why I opted to get regular polish vs gel on my toes). I noticed the girl didn't use a base coat before applying the polish. I let it go, not a big deal. she took her time pushing my cuticles back, but made my ingrown itch more LOL- I ignored it. When it came to the manicure, she completed cleaning the one hand then asked if it would be okay to use a dremmel for the second hand. I told her no, as it would feel weird because she had taken her time to push the cuticles on one hand. I asked for a matte finish black with some jewel art. I'm pretty sure she was a beginner/ new because she was limited on her nail art skills.- 30 minutes after I had left I noticed jewels had come lose. she did not put enough gel top coat to seal the jewels in. My cousins said the reason the jewels were coming off was because I asked for matte finish. which doesn't make sense. 3 stars for cleanliness of the area and good air conditioning. Suggest requesting a 'senior' nail tech.
