Hahaha My mom wanted her hair cut and colored white gray (3400 php) to blend with her coming white hair but she had colored her hair previously so Ernie suggested a blend due to her dry hair and because it was colored already. It turned out great!! It was a mixture of brown with silver highlights. Sometimes, in the sun, it looked really gray! It was kind of neat! He was very gentle with her which I liked. I mean he had the patience with her. They always offered us something to drink. While she was getting her hair done, they did her pedi (Judy) and mani (Joy)(750php) at the same time while waiting for the color to set. Many places in the PI do not have professional massage chairs for people to get a mani/pedi like in the States. I wonder why? They like to do all at once and go to where you are to get the job done quicker maybe? I had my hair treated (2800php) for long hair because my hair was getting dry due to the Philippines water. Tess massaged my head, back & shoulders, had my hair washed and curled for my hair treatment service. It turned out great. I also had them change the color of my feet and hand nails for 150 php ea pair; not bad by Beth. Thank goodness they had a big selection of good nail polishes but still limited to the colors I really wanted...but still! The nail polishes were not old! I also had an underarm wax (450php) by Eryl which she used the new gel type wax that smells like wheat. It didn't hurt at all but it takes a few times to finish vs a honey wax. I prefer the honey wax better for some reason as it also lifts the color of your underarms. All in all, if you are looking for great services and options, this is the place to go! Renz has always been able to do a phenomenal job (9 months and my hair is still getting compliments) and the top Stylist JOF I heard is top notch. They might be on the higher end priced compared to the other local salons but I still Highly recommend, especially when I only color my hair once or twice a year. A couple of them recommended that I get my quick fix at the Bench Fix Salon on the second floor. Up the stairs I went and was greeted by the receptionist, who mentioned that the price for the trim was PhP 500--no problem. I was then pleasantly greeted by senior stylist Roland, who sat me in the chair and started chatting with me about why I was looking for a bangs trim. He began combing through my hair with his fingers, expertly analyzing the cut and the layers. I knew right then that he was no slouch--that he could make my cut much better. And voilà! He asked if I'd consider some shaping instead, as the rate was the same. Honestly, the price was secondary to me. I was already impressed with the way Roland handled my hair while analyzing it. So the answer was "Yes." I love that there was a different person who shampooed my hair--the massage was amazing. I sadly forgot her name. She has been at this location for 10 years. I want to emphasize that her role is serving as a partner to Roland. She preps clients like me. She also did the blow‑dry after the cut, at which point Roland came back in and started doing finishing touches to my hair at the tail end of the drying. The result? More life. More modern cut. More style. More swing. He didn't even remove an inch of length--just added shape overall. I loved it. I wish I could be at this place every month. While the entrance is small, the actual salon is pretty big inside. It is like most of the other Bench Fix branches. I love their hair color because it doesn't hurt when they apply it and it lasts for several months. They also have really beautiful color combinations whether you want to be copper blonde or just get very nice highlights. While pricing for hair color is a bit expensive, it really is worth it. What surprised me about this branch is how good their makeup artists are. I had the chance to try it out one time when my most trusted makeup artist was out of town and I had a quick event to attend. They were so good people barely recognized me -- and I mean that in a good way.

Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed, stressed, and concerned about the condition of my nails. The therapist who attended to me, Irene, appeared to be very careless during the procedure. She was too rough while cleaning my nails, causing significant discomfort and pain. I informed her that I have high blood sugar and requested that she be more gentle and careful. Despite this, my nail started bleeding. I no longer felt comfortable with how the service was being performed, as the pain continued and there seemed to be little effort to adjust her technique. When she proceeded to clean my other foot, the same thing happened. I again told her that it was painful and asked her to stop because it was already bleeding as well. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that your nail cleaning service costs more than what many other nail salons charge. I did not mind paying a higher price because I expected better care, professionalism, and attention to client safety. Unfortunately, that was not what I experienced. As of now, my nail has become swollen and has developed pus, causing significant pain and discomfort. This has resulted in additional stress and concern on my part. I hope management will take this matter seriously, review the incident, and ensure that staff members are properly trained to perform services safely and with the level of care that clients deserve. No customer should leave a salon with an injury and a possible infection after a routine nail cleaning service. Rating: 1/5 - Very disappointing experience.
