I just picked their simplest blow out and I was very, very happy with it. They started off with washing your hair and their shampoo and conditioner smells amazing. They work really fast too, so if you're really in for a last minute blow out, this is the place to go. Whether it is for a night out in the town or even for a wedding, they can do it all. This happened around 4:30 PM, and I was very dissatisfied with the service and the stylist assigned to me. Despite paying the full service amount, I was given someone who lacked experience in both coloring and shampooing. My dress and back got wet, and the staff were neither friendly nor accommodating. I love how the customers are well-pampered here because they have updated magazines, rest rooms, and they even offered me tea on the house! Their quality service is pricey, but they do offer discounts and promos that are worth waiting for, especially nearing holidays. I got my digiperm on a pre-Christmas promo which is a big plus for me as a student. Besides treatments, their haircuts are also A+ because of the cool Korean trendy styles they offer. I find their hairstylists very friendly regardless of language barrier. The assistants are around to help communicate between hairstylists and customers so it's not a problem. I won't tell you who colors my hair because he is my secret weapon (and you might rat on me and tell him that I just DIY dyed my hair black) but I will tell you who handles my brows: Glo. I've had many threading therapists in this life but only a few have landed on my go-to list. Glo is on this list because she knows her thread really well. And I'm picky...My detailed descriptions of what I want have confused stylists before. Color Bar understood me though, because today I got the kind of hair I've wanted since I started dyeing it as a teen! Asked for ash brown/blond on my stubborn black roots and that's what I got! I went from faded unicorn purple and coral streaks plus a blue green piece, to my dream hair after Jof's consult and Anagen's color correction job (see my before and after shots). My over processed hair now looks healthier as well. Jof's consult was patient and thorough, and Anagen executed the results with the most delicate touch I've ever felt. I would go back to her next time. I am so glad that I put my trust in this salon instead of waiting after my flight back to the U.S. where I get my hair done at BeScene, an international competition winning salon near Washington DC that is big on Instagram. Jof was hip enough to recognize that salon and its founder when I mentioned, and I'll attest that their work today is as good as BeScene's at a fraction of the cost.
