I wanted a BIG change and have my hair cut really short! When decide to do something crazy like this, I go to the salon I know "understands" my hair, its texture and the style that suits me. So, I set my appointment with Piandre Salon. I actually started going here in highschool because my mom always had her hair done here too. They have been around since 1987 and still maintain the same impeccable service.
Out of their 11 branches, I go to their BGC branch the most. This is my favorite because, a) I like the layout of this branch, and b) the stylists here know how to cut and color hair very well. In other salons you need to show them a hair peg then, after they copy it, the cut looks awkward after a few days. The big difference here is that after you tell the stylist what style you want, they will tell you whether it will fit the shape of your face and what length will work for you. Same goes for what hair color will suit you. They will look at your skin tone + the thickness of your hair. The treat for me though is their complimentary coffee or iced tea with their oatmeal cookies. You have to have their coffee! Trust me. Ask for it.
For this session, I had a bob/pixie cut + colored my hair Ash Brown. My stylist, Ms. Jane, knows that my hair is thin. So, she layered my hair to give it thickness at the back. For the hair color, she recommended Ash Brown to compliment my skin tone. The whole hair service (including the shampoo + hair dry + styling) cost about Php1,980 (42.33USD). This may be pricey to many. But, for the service and expertise, worth every peso! Love my new look! :) read more
