Regular gym is a little intimidating for me, and I wouldn't have seen the same drastic changes that I do now. I have also gotten stronger it's amazing how a 15 pound barbell is now light for me! First off, this place is very clean and they have all the equipments you need to work out. Every day the workout is different. All the coaches are amazing they are super friendly they motivate you and support you with anything you need. Coach Lorraine the owner was the first person I spoke to and she is amazing in helping you do your best and guide you with all the movements correctly during the workouts. With the membership, you receive emails with lots of nutritional tips and food findings. You do not have to be experienced to come to the box you start wherever you are and you work your way up! Warning: you get addicted! I have to go at least three or four times a week! What is motivating also is that you work out with a group of people who are friendly, fun and encourage you do your best and I think that's what's important to have at a box. There are special workouts that sometimes happen throughout the year. For Christmas you can win a T-shirt if you come for a certain amount of days. They also offer I believe a one-week trial if you'd like to give it a shot. There is also a little section for you to charge your phone. They also sell water, but have a filter to just refill your bottle! What I love most is how encouraging and inclusive the coaches and members are with my special needs son. Everything is modified to meet him where he is at based on his age and his intellectual and physical abilities. This gym has honestly changed our lives in the most positive ways. It's hard to explain in words, you've just got to come and experience it. I'm a 40 something mom and wife and have seriously never felt better. As our CrossFit box came to a close, we had to find a new home. I did crossfit six days a week for…read morethe past year and needed to continue on with my hobby. We decided to go there because the prices were affordable and it was super close to home and work. The box is located on the side of the plaza on almost an alleyway. There are some parking and the hours are perfect for us. It's open 7 days a week and we usually go to the 5 pm class. I messaged the owner via the CrossFit Militia Facebook page prior to going and he was very prompt and informative. We went in and signed a waiver and started our workout of the day. The box was big and clean with tons of equipment. The coaches and members were friendly and helped us get situated in the new box. Going to a new box aka gym, it can be intimidating when everybody already knows each other; however I felt right at home. The way the classes were setup, there's a mini warm up WOD then there's another WOD. It kicked my butt but I love the challenge and intensity.
