On August 31, I went in person to freeze my membership while trying another gym. I confirmed both in person and over text that my monthly rate would be $9.63 from September through November. Instead, I was charged $62.84 in September, with another $62.84 pending for October--totaling $106.42 in overcharges if it posts. I've called at least seven times and sent multiple texts and emails. Staff told me only the regional manager can handle the reimbursement. The regional manager was supposed to reach out by phone but never called. I was then told they would email me, but that never happened either. I have no direct way to reach them. I've now requested cancellation and a waiver of the cancellation fee. Nothing has been resolved. I understand mistakes happen, but having to work this hard just to get help has completely changed how I feel about a gym I once loved. Before joining, please ask about the freeze and cancellation process. I went in person, got written confirmation, and repeatedly followed up--and I'm still trying to get this corrected.

They have more machines than any gym, it is small enough to not be overwhelming, but big enough for many people to train at once. I went today for a work out with Melinda and will be setting up our appointments this week to get on the ball. I plan on signing up for 3 months up front to give it that commitment. Melinda listens to you, asks questions regarding over all health, and does enough to bring you out of your comfort zone, but not too much that I do not feel comfortable. Plates are not good for deadlifting, bench press is a really strange curved rack that puts your shoulders in an unstable position during racking/unracking, and it has a very small limited free weight area. Pros: not very busy, good for people who aren't worried about building muscle and just want to do like, cardio. Clean, nice staff, interesting art at front desk. Cons: limited free weights, less than ideal plates, poorly designed freeweight equipment, limited hours on weekends.
