This is one of the best CrossFit gyms I've been to. Really nice coaches, great programming, and nice people.

My husband tried canceling 1 time last year and 1 time in January, Jen was supposed to cancel it but didn't. My husband called her multiple times and texted her multiple times to cancel the membership. Last month in January he went there himself and spoke with Jen to cancel and she told him to send a text to her to remind to cancel the membership. Which he did all that. He still got charged at the end of the month. What happened to keeping your word...He went back again there this morning and she gave him attitude and was very nasty to him. Now she said it has to be in writing. Mind you we were never told that in order to cancel membership it needs to be in writing. She only refunded back 1 month , should of been 2 months. I had a couple of my friends that was thinking of signing up with this Crossfit, I will make sure they know how they treat you and how nasty and rude Jen can be when it comes to cancelling membership. Need to rehabilitate injuries at a facility that's close to me. I walk in and I'm Interrogated immediately, er, wait, I meant greeted with a terrible attitude immediately. Gross vibe and judgmental energy from the rip. The manager with piercingly blue wicked eyes wouldn't let me walk around to peek at the equipment. She had to walk with me like I was gunna start working out or talk to someone. I said okay, I'll follow you. First thing she says before showing me a single piece of equipment or explaining even 1 amenity was, "it's $160 per month to work out here". I instantaneously limped out of her precious box. Do yourself a favour, skip this joint. Unless you're as freakishly stuck up, rude and judgmental as she is. I'm a retired/injured Firefighter paramedic. My insurance will pay for me to go to any authorised gym of my choice. She coulda had her measly $160 per month if she wasn't so grossly rude and judgemental. YOUR WELCOME EVERYONE!! So I used to attend an awesome crossfit in Pompano Beach but I moved up to Boynton. I've been a crossfit member for over 2 years but due to my schedule changes recently at work, I haven't been consistent in about 8 months. I figured I'd try the Groupon deal here for their bootcamp classes to check out their facility, instructors and overall vibe before I made the decision to come here for crossfit on a monthly basis. I'm glad I did. First, the stigma of some crossfit boxes being elitist must have definitely been born in places like this. I walked into the 11am bootcamp class last week and was not greeted at all by a staff member or any of the regulars there. Someone who was there for the first time and using their Groupon was the only one who spoke to me when I arrived. So, the vibe was "off" from the beginning. Then the instructor for the class, who looked annoyed at the thought of having to deal with people who were not there for crossfit, instructed us on the warm up which was a 3 minute row. Cool. I'm familiar enough with the rowers to know which settings work best for me. And, thank goodness for that because had I have been a true newbie, I would not have gotten any direction from him. He directed us all to warm up at a moderate pace and then promptly went back to speaking to the crossfit athletes who were there doing what I can only assume was a free-period workout. From there, the group did some stretching under the direction of the class instructor. Mind you, I can't use the guy's name. Not because I'm being polite, but because he never introduced himself. Not during the warm up. Not during the actual workout and not after. Also, the crossfit athletes who were stretching behind the rowers made no effort to move out of the way for the group to get to the PVP pipe area after our rower warm up was done. They literally were sprawled out behind the rowers stretching and chatting it up, right in the path of us trying to get to the PVP pipe area. At this point, I already knew what time it was. I was definitely not going to join this box, but I was curious how the actual workout would be. The instructor called us over to another area after the end of the warm up and ran through the exercises for 2 circuits we were to do. It was pretty easy. Again, if someone had been an actual newbie they would have gotten no direction. If someone needed modifications for health/mobility reasons as well, this instructor could have cared less as he didn't model that (or ask if anyone needed that) as well. I could go on, but I won't. Bottom line is if you are thinking of getting the Groupon to ease into going here full-time, I'd encourage you not to do that. Because the dude didn't care about actually doing his job, I never redeemed the Groupon (neither did the other girl who came in for the first time with her Groupon either) because when the workout was over nothing happened. He didn't come over to say anything as he was, again, talking to a crossfit athlete. So I rolled my Groupon to another fitness place that I've heard great firsthand reviews about. We're limited here in Boynton for crossfit, but I'd say if you drive out just a bit, you'd find better places than this. read more

Beginners are instructed on proper form and techniques by the trainers and masters have almost everything available to stay at the top of their game. CrossFit Boynton Beach have a wonderful community with in itself to help motivate each other, and they partake in fun competitions and workouts throughout the year. So I spotted this box as I was driving by. I was visiting the area and wanted to get a workout in so I stopped in mid-day to see if I could do a drop in later in the day. The coach that greeted me, Alex, was super friendly and said it would be no problem to drop in later that day. I dropped in to the 6pm class on a Tuesday. The place was busy with a crossfit class happening as well as a bootcamp class happening simultaneously which, by the way, never seemed to interefere with our crossfit class. Most crossfit spots I have visited through my travels ask for either a drop in fee (usually around $20) or just to buy some of their gear (a t-shirt) for about $20. When I came in for the class I asked the girl at the desk what their policy is for drop ins, she told me it was a $20 drop in fee. If I wanted to buy gear it was extra. I ended up buying a tank for $10 so I would have assumed that they would charge the difference for the drop in fee but I guess every place is different. The place itself was spacious and well equipped. The workout was a good one and this box seemed to be much more casual than most crossfit spots I've been to in the past, in that it was slightly less structured/regimented than others. The coach was their for consulting if you needed it but wasn't on top of you which has it's positives and negatives. You didn't get the individualized attention you might at another spot but then again it's nice to be left alone to do your own thing. The members/people in the class were mixed with both beginners and experienced athletes and were mostly uninterested in socializing/saying hello, unless you approached them however, overall I had a positive experience. Most importantly, the workout itself was a good one. Casual spot to get a good workout in while visiting Boynton Beach. I will definitely be returning here next time I'm in the area and need a good workout. read more

I bought a Groupon for a month of unlimited bootcamp at Boynton Beach Crossfit. It was so worth it. All the coaches are super nice and helpful. The owner is friendly too. If you're just starting to work out again like I was this is a great place to start. They will also adjust the workouts to fit your fitness needs and goals. In a few weeks you will be amazed at how much you will improve! Definitely recommend! read more

Be very careful with these guys. They have been auto charging my credit card even though I quit months ago and have tried repeatedly to end my contract. They stonewall, do not return calls, claim they will send special forms to end the charges and then just keep charging. Do not charge anything there with your credit card! read more

This is the best box in Palm Beach County. All coaches are highly skilled and give you great attention including the owner who actually competed at the CrossFit games. I used to be so intimidated by CrossFit but after a few months I felt right at home. This box is right off the highway and easy to find (rare for a crossfit box). They were super welcoming, making you feel like part of their family immediately. I appreciate how clean the floors were, VERY rare, and refreshing. They keep their equipment tidy and organized. Most importantly the trainers are great. I've been to this gym twice and both coaches really took notice of everyone's technique and made sure our form was on point. Highly recommend! read more

I dropped into CF Boynton Beach for the week while on vacation and absolutely LOVED it. It was fun, competitive (in a great way) and an overall awesome atmosphere. It was amazing to see the high level of fitness between the members and the coaches. The coaches take the time to show you the different movements and answer any questions. I worked with Alex all week and he is AWESOME!!! If I ever lived in the area, CFBB would definitely be my home. I can't wait to come back on my next vacation! GO CHECK OUT THIS PLACE!! read more

Into week 5 at Ceossfit and can see my body changing in addition to an increase in my energy level. I go 4-5 days a week. Trainers know how to train and give good positive feedback each week I go. The have a great mix of females and males in classes. Very motivating. I turn 50 yrs old next month and look forward to a fit and lean body with CrossFit. read more
