My wife and I have been going to Lantana Fitness for almost 9 years. It's not as upscale as some…read moreother gyms, but they have everything we need, the equipment is well maintained, and the facilities are clean. The owner and staff are very nice and friendly, and the membership is very diverse in all respects, so anyone can feel comfortable there. The gym has the usual assortment of weight machines, free weights, and cardio equipment (bikes, treadmills, and elliptical trainers). The bikes and treadmills were very recently replaced with new ones. There are 4 TVs serving the cardio area. There's a separate room for classes, and another smaller room for stretching. You can buy water and other soft drinks at the front desk, and towels are available for rental if you don't bring your own. Lantana Fitness offers classes and personal trainers, though we haven't taken advantage of them. However, I've watched the trainers work with their clients and they're very good, and people seem to enjoy the classes. There's plenty of parking, though the lot can fill up when some of the more popular classes are offered. We used to work out at around 7am and now go later in the morning, and although it gets busy at times, it's never so crowded that you have to wait for equipment (I don't know what it's like in the evenings). If you're looking for a low-key, clean, comfortable place to work out, you can't go wrong with Lantana Fitness.

I love EOS because of the large variety of equipment. They have machines but that's only the tip of the iceberg. Several sections with dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags, med balls, Trx bands, and more. They also have many different turf areas to choose from or tons of benches. While this is the perfect place for many , it is worth noting that it's pretty crowded whether you're working out at 5 am or 9pm. Everyone is very respectful with sharing equipment, but there's definitely a lot of bodies at any given time. That being said, it's a very encouraging atmosphere to see do many people locked in. It was about 10 stations and the class took 60 minutes in total, including the warm-up and cool down at the end. On August 31, I went in person to freeze my membership while trying another gym. I confirmed both in person and over text that my monthly rate would be $9.63 from September through November. Instead, I was charged $62.84 in September, with another $62.84 pending for October--totaling $106.42 in overcharges if it posts. I've called at least seven times and sent multiple texts and emails. Staff told me only the regional manager can handle the reimbursement. The regional manager was supposed to reach out by phone but never called. I was then told they would email me, but that never happened either. I have no direct way to reach them. I've now requested cancellation and a waiver of the cancellation fee. Nothing has been resolved. I understand mistakes happen, but having to work this hard just to get help has completely changed how I feel about a gym I once loved. Before joining, please ask about the freeze and cancellation process. I went in person, got written confirmation, and repeatedly followed up--and I'm still trying to get this corrected.
