I have never been able to find a form of exercise that I could really get excited about. After hearing my friend go on and on about how great pilates is and how much she loves the instructors at Pilates of Palm Beach, I finally decided to check them out. I've been going two times a week for two months now and I'm totally in love. I went to this studio as someone who had never even attempted pilates and now I can't shut up about it. In just two months I am doing things that I never thought I'd be able to do. I have more energy. I'm more confident. I'm gaining muscle and toning up. It's awesome! All of the instructors are extremely nice and supportive. I can't say enough great things about this place. If you've ever thought of doing pilates, definitely check them out. Beautiful new yoga and pilates theater! The expansion into the second area and creation of the theater enhances the overall experience tremendously! Very unique. It feels like taking a class out in nature with interesting touches. This studio is convenient. The instructors are great. Shelly is my favorite pilates mat instructor and the gal who teaches Gentle Yoga in the mornings is also really great. I really think they should have music during pilates. Only one instructor does this- and she puts light music on, it doesn't take away from the experience. It's a very clean studio, everything is in mint condition. I can't say anything bad about the studio - for me personally, I like HIIT training better. But I am still giving them 5 stars because as far as Pilates is concerned, it really is the best. I will probably continue to attend weekly but stick to my intense strength training as my primary workout. Just an update to my previous review- they also have insanely wonderful customer service. Great, all around. Nice studio, convenient location and wonderful instructors. I can only speak for the mat classes, pilates and yoga- and I've only taken one of each- but both were taught by really knowledgeable instructors. The classes are small, so you get a lot of attention and I got a great workout. I went in with a groupon- in general, it's a bit pricey, but good pilates instructors are never cheap. I love Pilates of Palm Beach. It's the best Pilates studio I know. The instructors are highly experienced, helpful, dedicated, professional and competent. After only 2 months of apparatus classes twice a week, I'm leaner, stronger, more limber, and 7 lbs lighter. My boyfriend can't keep his hands off me. In addition, the herniated discs that have plagued me for years are literally only a memory. Pilates is one of the kindest things I've done for my back. It feels better than a massage. I would highly recommend enrolling in 3 private sessions and then attending at least two classes a week. Because the private sessions are required, the other attendees are truly dedicated and the classes are suitably challenging. The same two women are always in my morning classes. This is the best pilates studio I have found. All of the instructors are certified in Power Pilates, which follows Joseph Pilates' original exercises. Not only do I get a real workout every time, but the camaraderie among the class participants makes it a lot of fun as well. From being someone who now and then worked out and never really loved any sport to becoming a total fitness addict speaks for pilates. Try it, if you haven't yet. i am betting you will love it. I take classes several times a week and honestly can't imagine missing a class. Erin is a great instructor herself and only hires first-rate instructors. I have been going to Pilates classes for ten years and PYC has the best classes I have ever attended. The classes are small and every instructor I have had class with has been excellent. The instructors are attentive and watch each person in the class. They are constantly working to help me improve my technique! Honestly, I hate working out...but I love Pilates!!!! If you have never tried it, you owe it to yourself to give it a try... I promise you won't be disappointed.... You will see your body transform right before your very eyes, in a matter of just a few sessions. I live in West Palm Beach and I drive 30 minutes each way, 3 times a week just to go to this studio. There are many studios closer to my house, but none as wonderful as Pilates of Palm Beach. The studio is clean, the staff is amazing, and the location is very central from just about anywhere. I had never tried yoga before and heard such good things about it, that i decided to try it. I chose this business because they had a class during the week day which is most convenient for me. The instructors are very accommodating to someone new at yoga. Although challenging I was not overly stressed and the moves are slow stretches. I had Dawn today as the instructor and I felt amazing and jello like after the class I was so relaxed. The only negative was that I forgot my yoga mat and used one of there's. It smelled and I let the receptionist know after the class and she promised to take care of it. Next time I will be sure to bring my mat. Also I would like to see more classes held during the day. They do offer 6:30 PM. and weekend yoga classes. Location is great, people are friendly, just say ommmmmm and relax. read more

This was the best groupon I have ever purchased! I thought I would just do 3 sessions but quickly became addicted and have been going on an average 3 times a week. The studio is awesome and I cannot say enough about the instructors. I have worked with nearly all of them and I am amazed on a regular basis. They provide a safe and happy environment and make it easy to learn every exercise. They have even helped me more than any chiropractor when my back pain flairs up! Pilates of Palm Beach really helped me change my life. The instructors are top of the line as is the equipment and the environment.
