The classes are tough for my skill set but at the same time they don't judge you if your a beginner or never have taken barre, yoga or cardio classes. I was expecting some sort of dance class but it is unique because they add elements of cardio and yoga in it. So far I have had the pleasure of taking Fabiana's class over the weekend. She was encouraging as well as helpful during my moments of cluelessness. I enjoyed the work out so much that I decided to try this studio for a month to see what kind of results I get. Also I took Jackie's class as well. She was so nice and made sure I was not lost. At times I want to laugh while in class because I look so ridiculous doing the poses however it's a fun learning experience. This type of studio took me out of my comfort zone and I'm really liking it. Every instructor is very caring and do not make you feel like a outsider. I would recommend anyone to try a barre class. The studio has a number of classes that use silks that hang from the ceiling for various classes. Although I was not there for that type of class it looks like a great class to try in the future. The owner of the studio was so welcoming and open her studio for the sound meditation event. If you haven't been to a sound meditation it has to be one of my favorite experiences. It was an hour and 15 minutes where you relax laying down on a mat as the instructor plays metal bowls which create a vibration that goes through body. At the end of the class I left the studio completely relaxed. Thank you to Katrina that led the class such an amazing experience.

In September, I reached out again when I noticed that my status had not changed. I was asked to fill out a form to cancel and that there would be a fee. I never heard back from them on if the fee would be waivered but they did make sure to say that my account was cancelled. Now, in November I received an email informing me that my payment has failed to a membership that I don't have. I will be flagging this with my bank since you guys are thieves at this point for trying to take my money after cancelling twice. Update on my ankle and I am still recovering from it which prevents me from driving an hour to cancel in person.

Love the camaraderie and fun had there as the girls all know each other, you are introduced as soon as you come in and incorporated immediately into the Troupe. I say troupe coz the ladies can shake that thang and Loibel calls you up on stage to strut, shimmy, shake, tweak that thang while all cheer you on. Really a great energy, workout and social moment. She informed guest passes are no longer allowed because theft at the gym was high and that the AC may not be working upstairs. After waiting for 10 minutes the other receptionist came back and said that no one was available to give a tour, even though there were two people at the front desk.

I simply cannot believe the decisions made for their renovation. I understand renovations were needed as the gym they previously purchased and renamed, did need several cosmetic updates. However, whoever made the decisions for this specific location seriously is tone deaf, and should not be put in charge of such decisions in the future. Not to mention, the air conditioning still stops working randomly, the showers are not open for use, can't use the court because of construction, several classes unavailable. And they are still charging full price. The only silver lining, and also the only reason I left two stars, is because the lifting area is still nicely maintained. And honestly, after seeing what they chose to do with the basketball courts, I will no longer be coming to this location. Removal of the full court NBA sized court with all the side baskets will affect their membership numbers more than they realize. This location has long been a legendary court where high-level players and their training staff and friends would frequent. Especially over the summer. Now it's been downsized to a LA Fitness style court. Also, considering how much it cost nowadays to replace of hardwood basketball court, if they ever chose to go back on their decision, it would cost them triple. Absolutely bonehead move by whoever signed off on this. Whoever made this decision, does not understand the local community and their desires. Furthermore, it's not like they were short on space. There's plenty of room in this massive gym to have turf placed without cutting up the bball floor. Not to mention, the other nearest lifetime in Palm Beacch Gardens only has Pickleball courts. So basically, if you are a basketball player, Life Time doesn't really care about you. Such an absolute shame. Local community that is affected by this will find alternate locations. Personally, I will be going to the equinox in West Palm. Feel free to include a boring corporate response below this review, but understand that no matter what you say, you made a terrible decision which was not " in the best interest of the community". I hate how so many things nowadays are made worse by someone sitting behind a desk signing off on bad ideas. Well, understand that now people who used to drive over an hour to come use this gym will find other places to go.

After hearing my friend go on and on about how great pilates is and how much she loves the instructors at Pilates of Palm Beach, I finally decided to check them out. I've been going two times a week for two months now and I'm totally in love. I went to this studio as someone who had never even attempted pilates and now I can't shut up about it. In just two months I am doing things that I never thought I'd be able to do. I have more energy. I'm more confident. I'm gaining muscle and toning up. It's awesome!
