Upon walking in, you can see how clean they keep the studio and there's a lot of storage space to put away your shoes and anything else before class starts and they also have a restroom available with dry shampoo and deodorant if needed. They also have a water station as well as some towels, including a cold towel to use post class since the classes are heated. The instructor was definitely helpful and made me sweat all my energy out while still explaining all the moves and give you modifications if needed. I'm looking forward to attending more classes in the future. Please keep in mind you have to bring your own mat, but they also have mats available for rent.

I have seen so many worms/bugs crawling on the floor from pure lack of sanitation- and those bugs crawled onto my mat during class! It was disgusting and unsanitary. Am not sure how this studio stays open. They have only two toilets and they are often both out of operation and they ask you to beg the businesses Nextdoor to use their facilities. I am not sure what I paid for. lol I heard the owner has zero interest and intention to fix anything.

Pre-COViD I was doing yoga 3 x week - gentle, Hatha & yin & in the best shape of my life. So, When…read morethe yoga studios started opening back up I was psyched.! I chose Mark's "Gentle Yoga" class To ease back in. Ha!! This was not like any Gentle Yoga class I've ever attended before. It's all floor based & basically an hour of stretching. Really stretching!! Not the traditional yoga poses that I was used to. The stretching was very challenging for me m. I would not recommend it for someone new to yoga, with injuries/physical limitations or just someone that is easing back into yoga. Though Mark was very attentive assuring that I was doing them properly. I would love to try some of the other yoga classes at Sports Yoga M2, but will be looking elsewhere right now for my Gentle Yoga classes until I'm back in my pre-COViD shape.

I felt at home immediately. They offer a very interesting and varied range of classes, including Yin and Heated Yoga. One quibble is that the class names aren't particularly helpful in sorting out what's in store. "Intuitive Yoga" is kind of a grab bag of "something more challenging than Gentle Yoga," so you need to judge by the instructor. Dan's Wednesday morning class, for example, is highly challenging and athletic. When in doubt, just ask someone. However, regardless of the class and instructor, there is an emphasis on proper form and assistance. Instructors circulate, offering correction, props and encouragement. Because the studio is small and popular, it's a good idea to register for a class. You can text or email, but the MINDBODY app makes it easy to check the schedule, book a class and even add it to your smartphone calendar. I would definitely recommend this place!

The studio is gorgeous, clean, and has a lovely little shop with fun finds, prepared food, and smoothies. They use Manduka mats and blocks, which are simply the best in the industry, and you can rent or bring your own mat and towel. The teacher, Alina, was confident and wonderfully cued throughout the Vinyasa class. She kept the focus where it belongs, on the practice itself, without filling the room with philosophical monologues. That made all the difference in being able to truly go inward and stay present with my breath. The studio also has a beautiful full length mirror wall, which is fantastic if you like to check your alignment. Parking is available at the studio, though I found a spot down the street with no trouble at all. The room temperature was a touch mild for my personal taste, but I still worked up a solid sweat and reached for my hand towel more than once! Everyone there was genuinely warm and welcoming, and the whole aesthetic is just beautiful. Nothing cookie cutter about it. Bespoke, intentional, and a total vibe. This one is worth your time.

Love the aesthetic they've created behind such a busy road. I appreciated the open bay door AND outdoor pallets for people who want to practice under the sun and shade. The owner and the instructor were both really welcoming and put all of us 1st-time visitors at ease. The place is clean, and Danice (yogi) emphasized that all their materials are sanitized. They've got the floor taped off for spacing, and of course it smells calming and peaceful throughout. It's not a big studio, so I'm curious if spots fill up in most classes. I will be back! They have a website to reserve a spot and pay in advance. They may be on the more pricey side, but I honestly have no comparison.

There is a class for everyone, whether you're new to practicing yoga or you've been practicing for years. For people new to yoga, I know it can be intimidating to go to a new place or try something new, that was me the first time going here. I had no idea what I was doing. I'd never practiced yoga before, but as soon as I walked in the door I was met with kindness and warmth. This genuine kindness and warmth felt good, it felt safe. It felt safe for me to explore something new. So if you're newer to yoga or never tried it before but heard it could be helpful or you're just curious I would suggest showing up here, come to Kula. You will be met with that same genuine warmth and kindness that I experienced 4 years ago and still experience every time I walk through those doors.
