It's a new year. Time to put yourself first and workout! :))) Finally found myself an awesome gym partner again & best part of YouFit is that your membership allows you to bring anyone as your guest with no extra cost as many times as you want. Guys at the front desk are super nice. Yeeee.... So since I decided to try to get on stage again what better way to do it than to get the best to help train me. He will get me back on track. This gym has the equipment we need. We had an awesome training this morning. Thnx so much & looking forward to killing it together here daily. :)))) Best time, for those who hate crowds as we do, is early to mid mornings & after 1p before 4p. Showers available for those like us, who train early before work or after. They lien at 0500 so that's a great time actually to workout too. Downfall to this gym is located in Lantana which is not the greatest area to be in but eh!!! We just here to get in beast mode right... :)))) read more

Today 2X desk people didn't look up from their phones. So I tapped my ID and just said "OK". Neither looked up but one said "Ya Bro". Then I noticed the music was not work out music. The music was low gloomy with lots of bass and a male voice saying "I'm gonna hop on you and get in you and then make you flip over". I could have done 10 curls for every word. This gym location has all you need! The staff has been super friendly here each & everytime! Special shoutout to Stephen! But honestly, this location is my go-to! Just wish there were classes at this one so I wouldn't have to drive all the way to Greenacres Woo! Get ya sweat on! read more

I just recently switched gyms from Planet (right across the street) to YouFit. I've tried Crunch & LA before I decided on YouFit. I live in Lake worth so the convenience of this location is great. Although they don't offer classes- it's not something that I'm specifically looking for. So just know that about this location before you sign up!! The number one thing I love about this location is that it's always empty!! I personally value time & effort & believe any other gym rat does as well. You will always have the opportunity to get the highest potential workout in! (So if you like your gym stay there;)) Second is the staff- everyone is super friendly, always greets you, is kind, nice & it feels like a community. Third, it's always clean!! I also value the turf area which I believe is new.. but the variety of workouts you can have in this gym is appreciated. They have all different new types of equipment & in almost every station you can follow your form w all the mirrors provided. 10/10 glad I switched to this gym! read more

I have been to this youfit location before and they had older equipments. But they recently updated! They have newer cable machines and it's definitely cleaner! I just wish they have more convenient wipe areas so I don't have to go across the gym just to wipe my machine down. Other than that, friendly staff and open floor area to do lunges! read more

Just wanted to do an update after a few months of going here and the last review. The place still smells very bad, mold, musty, humid, a real bad smell when you walk into the gym and they never do anything to improve this. They need to keep this place cleaner and detail the entire facility and make it smell better. The carpet in the locker rooms is all torn up and has strings hanging, looks tacky and unprofessional. Machines and sticky and many don't work well, or the TV doesn't work. They have a lot of older rusty equipment here at this older gym. The WIFI still does not work here in Lantana, has never worked in several months now. Other Youfits the WIFI works, this one just cannot get anything right. As an update, this gym has started taking in large groups of sober home/addition center people who come in groups of 5-8 on buses/vans and huddle all over, take up all the space, and do not let others use the machines. They are loud, attention seeking, and somewhat inconsiderate, yesterday one was vaping right on the gym floor close to us. Management allows all of this and does not supervise these groups of people well. it doesn't look good and many people are starting to drop out or switch gyms. I want us to switch gyms, only after 3-4 months, this Lantana location is one of the worst run gyms. They really need to get an area/district manager to come in here and do a thorough inspection. Liz and Sergio are the best employees here, they care, do speedy check-ins, and have nice personalities, the rest of them could care less. read more

I left LA Fitness recently and joined Youfit with my son. They have adequate equipment and numerous facilities around my home and work making it convenient to maintain a daily workout regiment. One feature that I liked especially is a circuit workout that designates a dozen machines and cardio area with a timer to allow members to get a full workout in 25 minutes. There is signage that informs members that if they use the circuit they must change machines every interval. I've been about a dozen times and have grown frustrated when members sit in the circuit machines, do not switch at intervals and sometimes do not even exercise. It forces me to stop and prolong ga the intended workout. Today I brought it to the attention of a worker at the counter when a member sat in the bicep machine and played with his phone. I pointed to 8 members using the equipment and none doing the circuit. I asked if she could asked them to workout .org the many other duplicate machines and she said no. Guess was easier to imply that I should leave rather than disrupt the others. Trash receptacles smell and clocks are not set accurately. Needs better manag Been working out here for nearly a year now and there has been no change. Despite the word "circuit" appearing on every circuit machine people still sit on the machines for multiple sets without rotating. Some even sit and read messages in their phone without even exercising. It is not possible to get a 30 minute complete workout in at Youfit. read more

I've been going for awhile as a guest, I mostly like to walk/run outside for a workout but the heat is to much in the summer so I will get my own membership and still walk when I can... People of all ages and all levels of fitness come in here to just do their work out keep to themselves and then leave and that is all I would want. It's not over crowded during the hours I go and I get a good consistent workout. read more

This YouFit location is good & bad in many areas. The good definitely outweigh the bad, so I would frequent this location if it was convenient for me. I joined and primarily go to the Boynton Beach location. On my first visit (Wednesday, 8/26/15 around 10:30AM), I learned: -The staff are both knowledgeable and friendly. When I asked a woman at the front desk what the differences are between this location and the one in Boynton Beach she said: This location is the first YouFit in Florida (they used to be across the street), so that's why you'll see some machines are older, but they still work so they're mixed in with the other machines that are new. Later, when I asked a man at the front desk where I may find a rowing machine, he said he'll do better than tell me he'll show me. He immediately came out from behind the counter, took me to the machine (currently being used), and told me about the machine and how to use it when it became available. What's good at this location is: -I really like how the front doors open automatically (motion censored) for you when you approach. -The showers (2--one with a glass door and the other with a shower curtain) each have its own dressing area and the locker room is large with more than enough lockers to use. -Members are friendly and provide a camaraderie to strangers! One member saw me looking at the two different types of elliptical machines, gave me a thumbs up while giving me a look like "Everything OK?" So, I went over to him and asked what the difference is of the two machines. He kindly said one of them does upper & lower body while the other machine works the legs only. - The members & staff present are of every type--Black, White, Hispanic/Latino, Older, Younger, Middle-aged, and about 75% male, 25% female. What needs to be improved: -Some of the machines (the older ones) could have training placards and water bottle holders attached to them like the newer machines have. -Some newer machines should be added: a seated calf machine and, a new/improved rowing machine because I (being female) found it impossible to use the rowing machine without experiencing pain in my chest with each rep I did. The pad you rest your front (between your arms) was big & square with no angles. -I usually use a machine to do bicep curls last, but by the time I was done using the row machine I was too sore to make the required female adjustment to use the bicep curl machine, so I didn't even look for this machine; therefore, I can't review it. -Obvious signage could be effectively posted to direct you to the women's locker room because the building's architecture makes it extremely easy for a woman to accidentally go into the men's locker room. -The stretching areas can be combined into one location to be more organized and less confusing. -Something needs to be in the stretching area so you may have assistance with getting up from the mat, if needed. (When I was laying on a mat stretching, an older man looked at me and asked "Are you ok? Are you going to be able to get up from there?" When I gave him a puzzling look he said "Because I may need you to help me get up!") NOTE: There are no classes done here because there is no classroom. read more

I would not spend the $10.00 a month. The staff is not knowledgable about the equipment nor the gym policies. It is a small area for the amount of memberships they sell. The only thing the gym has going for it is that it is clean. read more

Cardiovascular equipment is a joke. between the touch screen, manual controls, and the heart rate monitor on one of these will work on every machine. This is a great gym! My husband and I were members for three years and went several times a week. We left only because we moved. The staff is consistently polite, friendly and professional. The other members are a great cross section of South Florida population - all ages and races. People treat each other respectfully. It´s the cleanest gym I´ve ever been to. Tons of cardio equipment, in great working order. Plenty of free weights and machines, even at their busiest hours, it´s no problem getting access to what we need. We´ve been checking out gyms in our new neighborhood, and haven´t found anything even close to the quality of this Youfit location, even though the prices are three times as much. read more

This gym does not value their members. The location change in the middle of the night did not include the same amenities that we had signed up for. After requesting a change in our service we were informed it would cost us an additional $39. Apparently they can change anytime they want regardless of the service they provide.
