They offered a great deal and rather paying the drop in fee. They offered the Buy a coffee and first class is free promotion. 10/10 for service Equipment is perfect. When it comes down to it A-1 equipment and really offers everything in regards to boxing. They have double end bags, heavy bags, tear drop bags and speed bags. 10/10 for equipment Location is where I'd say is why I rate my experience 4/5. Took me an hour to find parking and is near medical facilities which is a pretty busy area. 5/10 location All in all great place to train. I can't say much about membership pricing since I only did a drop in and was a offered a promotion. If you live in the area I'd say it's best to walk, Uber/Lyft or Bus.

Luckily, intro drop-in classes were 2 for $35 (though my trip ended before I could do another class), $4 for wraps, $5 for glove rentals. Not too shabby given the gym is spacious, open, clean and welcoming. The front is a coffee shop so I was confused at first. There is ample room to wait, place your items in cubbies and use their clean locker rooms prior to class. You are also welcome to hop in to warm up but they will warm you up and make you question whether that in itself was the workout. Had a great class with Coach Paulo -- he trained with us and showed us a bit of his beast mode. Since most folks had established partners, I was able to work with him and he took the time to ensure none of us were left behind. We practiced with group drills around the bags, footwork, endurance and partner drills on the bags, ultimately ending with abs. One point I really enjoyed is that he was so welcoming to southpaws, as he had initially trained as one in his early days. He also worked with each of us and gave us tips to improve our form, which is very important. My entire experience was pleasant (except for my legs and breath giving out) and our class size being smaller than the previous really helped. I look forward to going back to The Park Gym in a heartbeat when I'm in town.

The coach was amazing--really focused on technique and super motivating throughout. There's a great sense of community here; everyone genuinely celebrates each other's progress and personal records. The workout itself was tough but incredibly rewarding to finish. Such an impressive and inspiring group of people!

I'll admit that walking in that very first time felt a bit intimidating at first since another class had just ended, but it also gave a glimpse of what the regular classes are like. Coach Chris went through an intro of the studio, fitness, class, and more. He walked us through a warmup and intro workout, including alignment details and any modifications if needed. Following that intro, we signed up for their Group Elements month for beginners (to attend Elements and Crossfit Lite classes at any of their gym locations), then ultimately tested out to join the regular Crossfit classes. Each coach's teaching/training style is a bit different, so it has been helpful to get a sense of their style and learn from the different cues and adjustments they suggested. I won't lie, the classes are challenging and downright hard most of the time, but the coaches work with you to find your level and then push you and encourage you to what they think you can do so you can improve and grow. While going to crossfit started as a curiosity aftering seeing an ad on IG (especially as someone who grew up without an athletic or even a movement background), CFSP has since motivated me to keep pushing through to see what my strengths are and what else I'm capable of!

As a recent Classpass convert, I was pumped to be able to book classes while in SF for work. I…read morefrequent Epic Hybrid Training in Miami, so was very excited to see how it stacked up all the way across the country. I booked a Blast class with Dan. She was so friendly and welcoming from the get go. I knew it was going to be a fun one! My favorite thing about Epic is that no class is the same. This was super high energy and cardio focused with eight rounds we did FIVE times. I was sore for days! It's only 45 minutes including the warmup and cool down, but you really get a ton out of it. The studio itself is smaller than the one I'm used to but there were about eight people that came and room for everyone to move about. It also felt very clean and I appreciated Dan mopping up our sweat as things went along. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in San Francisco and would encourage anyone looking for a fun and new workout to give it a try!

I originally saw a 6-week challenge ad on Facebook and I thought, hey why not. The main reason and motivator being that I wanted to be in really good shape for my wedding this Fall and all the associated pre-wedding festivities. I saw this as a really great way to launch my fitness journey and kick-start a new me! After a few email exchanges, I worked with Jenn P. to set me up for the 6-weeks. She also took some measurements / pictures and loaded me up with information on how to eat and how to prepare for the challenge with EPIC. I worked hard and showed up to classes 5 days a week and ate according to the meal plan. I really enjoyed the classes and I loved how encouraging all of the instructors were during the challenge. All of the instructors were so friendly and really encouraged me to extend myself a little more or push a little harder and I really think that was key in my workouts. I mean, who doesn't work harder when people are rooting for them? I didn't really lose any weight for this challenge, but it wasn't really my goal to. What i did get was a new-found appreciation for workouts that challenge you and are super fun, but don't leave you feeling like you've been hit by a bus. I also accomplished two major things during my 6 weeks - being able to complete the traverse down and back again and make it to the top of the rope climb. Feeling super positive about what is to come in the next 6 weeks of my fitness journey, but I can tell you that this is the lowest body fat percentage I've been at in a WHILE! :)
