However, if you're considering the Manvel, Texas location, you should know that the strength training and weightlifting options are extremely limited. I even requested additional equipment that would improve the space and never received any follow-up. The biggest issue, though, is the membership and cancellation process, which appears to be franchise-wide. First, they require you to cancel in person -- in 2026. That is incredibly unreasonable when most services allow cancellation online or over the phone. Second, if you freeze your membership, there is no notification when it's about to be unfrozen. They simply start charging your card again. And to make matters worse, canceling your membership can cost more than the monthly membership itself. They also remember your name and greet you as if you're one of their own members. The culture of this box is great. Very warm, encouraging, and upbeat. The members introduce themselves, make an effort to get to know you, cheer you on, and are super nice. It's also maintained very well and super clean! The workouts are great. They encourage mobility with ROMWOD's every Wednesday, camaraderie with PartnerWOD's, and strength training with barbell driven movements in metcons. My go to in Sugar Land when at home visiting my parents! Pick up some cool swag, too!

I have several texts between myself and the owner regarding a refund but I still have not received it. I always thought that if I moved back to the area that I would return to the gym but that is out of the question now. I am going to dispute the charges with my bank because they are unauthorized. I paid on time and even brought business to their gym but they still continue to avoid paying me back. I know I am not the only one who is dealing with this. It is very unfortunate.

Best gym on the East Side!!…read more I started coming to Facet Seven Eado to get in the best Bride-To-Be/ Wedding shape I could, and it happened thanks to Mikel!! I highly recommend booking with him if you're in the market for a personal trainer! Not only will he help you reach your goals, but he's also very informative with why you're doing certain exercises (which is very helpful as someone who has no clue!) I do have to say, having a personal trainer really made my experience at Facet Seven Eado! I love that you can view all the trainer profiles online and book with them, making the whole process more approachable. The gym itself seems to have everything you would need - from machines to free weights to classes. Parking: They have some handicap parking and a few open spaces in front of the gym. That being said, I almost always had to park on the side street. Accessibility: In addition to the handicap parking - They do have a ramp for accessibility to the entrance as well, but otherwise get ready for a pre-workout warm up hiking up the stairs to the front entrance! They also have a large shower stall (at least in the women's locker room) for accessibility needs. Staff: The staff (especially the trainers) are beyond welcoming. For some reason the people at the front desk aren't so much. During my time here, I rarely got welcomed which does make it a bit awkward if you're not so comfortable in the gym. Also, they have a scanner to checkin on your app but that worked less than 50% of the time for me, leading to more awkward moments with the front desk. Space: The space is very open, allowing for a lot of different areas. During my time here, they did move some of the weights around, which made for a bit of a choke point/crowded area for the weight machines near the rowers. Personally this was a turn-off for me. Also, being a warehouse, it gets warm. There is AC but during the summer months it doesn't cool too effectively - which I guess helps you sweat and maybe is a good thing (but for me wasn't the best). Overall, I'd definitely return here if I needed a PT to help reach another goal. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a new gym in general !

Buyer Beware -- Read the Billing Terms Carefully…read more First, I want to say that SPENGA has an awesome workout. The instructors are great, the staff is friendly, and I genuinely enjoyed going to the gym. Unfortunately, billing transparency is the reason I canceled my membership. When you enroll, they explain that payments are made every 28 days (four weeks). What I don't feel is clearly explained verbally is that a 28-day billing cycle results in 13 payments over a 12-month period, rather than the 12 payments you would have with traditional monthly billing. That means the actual annual cost is higher than what many people may initially perceive when they hear a monthly membership price. Yes, the 28-day billing cycle is stated in the contract, and I acknowledge that I should have read the agreement more carefully. However, I believe this is something that should be clearly explained upfront by the GM whom I was working with, or sales staff so customers fully understand the financial commitment before enrolling. I have worked in sales myself, and I understand that sales are sales. But I also believe transparency is important when you're asking someone to commit to a membership. For me, the issue isn't the workout or the people, I actually really liked both. It's the lack of transparency around the billing structure. In my opinion, that was enough for me to cancel and take my business elsewhere. Aside from no one calling back to explain this and having a staff member, telling me it's part of my contract. Poor customer service. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. If you're considering joining, my advice is simple: ask specifically how often you'll be charged and how many payments you'll make in a full year. If 13 payments instead of 12 doesn't bother you, that's completely fine. But if it matters to you, make sure you understand the billing cycle and total annual cost before signing up. Buyer beware, read the contract, and ask questions.
