There's a reason every person here wrote a 5 star review…read more I came to EDX on the recommendation of two friends to talk to Angelo about individual training. I was coming off a knee injury, had a handful of other aches and pains, and felt like my training (which I had been doing consistently for years), had started to plateau. Working with Angelo has been a game changer, and the depth of his fitness and coaching knowledge is absurd. Simply put, I've made measurable, significant gains in every area of my fitness. While I don't work directly with the other coaches or attend the classes (I use the open gym for the individual training plan Angelo writes for me) everyone on staff is friendly, helpful, and most importantly incredibly knowledgeable. There's no attitude here, just the expectation that you'll show up and work hard. Additionally - I've had multiple sessions with Liliana at EDX Bodyworks (the attached sports therapy clinic) - and she's a wizard, it's a great resource to have on hand for when tweaks and injuries pop up. I've been a member of probably 6 or 7 gyms, this is the best one yet, my membership will end when Angelo and Liliana decide to retire. No matter your fitness level, if you're serious about getting in shape do yourself a favor and give the EDX community a shot.

The staff at the Westminster location is great and makes cleanliness a top priority- which is very important in a sauna environment. Since joining I have probably told 20+ friends, family and acquaintances about Hotworx and how it is truly a life changing workout both physically, mentally and emotionally. I have had guests join me and they agree! If you are thinking about joining, DO IT! A huge thanks to the Westminster staff for making my experience so pleasant!!!

A quick google search told me that this franchise did start in Australia, like F45. They even had an Australian guy James (who was in some of the videos!) whispering in the trainers ears the first week. I feel like this video format makes more sense with F45 than Pilates. I appreciate the constant instruction that you may not get with a live trainer (depending on their personality and desire to talk through the whole class) but sometimes my head was down because of the exercise and I just couldn't figure out what the video trainer was saying. If the exercise was the same throughout that would be ok. But it would change instruction mid exercise. The verbal cues weren't always the best. With F45 there are no verbal cues. Just look at the screen, do the exercise for the full 45 seconds or whatever, and move to the next station. As the other reviewer said, their pricing was just not competitive when I visited. $60 for 7 classes intro offer was good but the gym just opened, there was hype and those classes needed to be scheduled with 2 weeks. I think some people may have gotten screwed because classes filled up so fast. Only 14 spots per class because that's all the room and reformer machines they had. Also, there was no unlimited option like other local studios offer. Only pass packs which had to be used within a certain time. And their pass packs were more expensive than other reformer studios nearby. I'm not sure how much flexibility that they have given that it is a chain.
