This place has not only changed our routine, but also gives us the motivation to keep coming back. The staff/coaches are great! We really feel right at home every time we come in, and they know how to push us to get our full potential. This has become a lifestyle!! Thank you to David, Nick, Karen and Jay! Thanks to you guys this isn't just a New Year's resolution, but a lifestyle change!! #NoDaysOff

I never thought I would leave a negative review, but this experience definitely deserves one…read more I signed up about a month and a half ago and had no issues until this past week. During a typical workout, I was exercising alone at what turned out to be a double station. When I finished, I realized it was a shared setup. I assumed the next person would simply use the other side so I could complete my final exercise. Instead, a woman approached me in a very aggressive tone and demanded that I move so she could use the station I was on. I calmly explained that I only needed one more exercise and then the machine would be all hers. She refused and began calling me names, repeatedly saying, "You're always a bitch," while calling the trainer, Karen, over for backup. I stayed where I was because I had done nothing wrong. The woman eventually moved to the other station, but she aggressively pushed the machine in anger. I then explained to Karen that this behavior was completely out of line and that there was no reason for me to be disrespected or spoken to in such a hostile way. Unfortunately, Karen minimized the situation, saying it wasn't a big deal and that she didn't want this happening in her class. She suggested we just move on. I felt the situation was being brushed aside, possibly because she has known the other two women longer than she has known me. During my conversation with Karen, the other woman's workout partner, Tania, approached and began insulting me. I told her I was not speaking to her, and she responded, "You don't know me, you need to be careful." I perceived that as a threat. At that point, I informed Karen that I would be filing a police report. Again, she minimized the situation and told me not to do it onsite, adding, "I'm not your parent, I can't tell you what to do." When someone makes statements like that during an argument, it should not be taken lightly. As staff, Karen should have handled the situation professionally instead of dismissing it. The police came, and I filed a report. One of the women later told Karen she felt sorry for ruining her pre-Valentine's Day. Perhaps next time she should manage her anger better. The other woman stated she was a paralegal and "knows the law" as I was leaving, which felt unnecessary and intimidating. After speaking with a few friends who previously attended this gym, I felt leaving this review was important so management can improve how situations like this are handled. Later that afternoon, Karen called to inform me that my membership was being terminated because things "got out of line." I do wonder whether the other two members' accounts were also terminated. I proceed to explain this lady insulted me and called me "bitch" which Karen said is not a big deal when someone calls you that you move on. I am sorry what? I left a message for the manager, Payton, whom I met when I signed up, but I have not received a response yet but I was able to speak to wife about the situation briefly and she assure me he will get back to me. Again still no response from Payton. Based on this experience, this gym will not be getting my money again, and unfortunately, this is the review they earned.

Surprisingly, the transition has been very smooth. Thanks to the coaches who have made me feel welcome from day one and who take time to explain every single exercise. There's a lot of different availability in the scheduling. It makes it so easy to come workout. Box is always clean, and tidy. Coaches are extremely engaging, professional, well prepared and motivating. Huge plus, this box is extremely family friendly, so from one parent to another... veryyyyy important.

From the second you walk into CFK, Rob, Dario, Paul or Mike treat you like family. What I realized…read moreis, once you step into the box, you are their family. This is noticeable every single day, no matter what time you go work out. My schedule is crazy between teaching and tutoring, so sometimes I have to go in the morning, sometimes in the early afternoon, other times late in the evening - the great part is, there is always a class and always coaches ready to help you succeed. CFK prides itself on its programming and attention to form. They wont just hand you a barbell and tell you good luck, they spend a LOT of time breaking down the movements, exercises, techniques, explaining why things are done a certain way and getting your mindset in the right place. They will scale workouts for you if necessary, and are constantly watching during WODs to make sure everyone is doing things well, not slacking and most importantly: staying safe. There are many events that further promote the family atmosphere of CFK, from BBQs to Paddleboaring and everything in between. They are even adding a Saturday morning Yoga class! I recommend them to anyone who wants to change their lives, fitness, health, make friends and have fun leaving it all out there every single workout. Constantly varied, constantly pushing yourself - that's the name of the game.

I'm new to the CrossFit world, but I'm no stranger to working out. I've done Muay Thai, Krav Maga,…read moretons of bag work, basic gym membership stuff with machines and a variety of classes (cycle, Pilates, yoga, etc). THIS work out has by far made me the most excited to go to,... I mean... I can drop my bar here?? With weights... On the floor?? And I won't get in trouble? Lol. I know, that's silly, but after two months of being careful not to drop my bar, I'm now learning it's ok for the sake of the completion of a movement. Sweet!! Makes me feel a little bad ass when I hear the heavy weights fall too. Haha. But back to the workout and gym... I can definitely say I have the CrossFit bug! I was slightly unsure of it for years and never understood the "kipping" thing, but I get it now. I feel stronger and stronger every week, shoot... Sometimes the next day. But I know it's not only because of my own motivation. The instructors are solid. They take their time to make sure everyone focuses on their form and doesn't get hurt; from the rookies like myself to the people who have done CrossFit for years. We are all still learning on some level and that's a great feeling. They know when you can kick it up a notch and fully understand if you need to modify to prevent injury. The overall cleanliness of the gym is... Well... It's a gym... There's gonna be some sweat here and there. People are good about putting away their stuff after using them and the only thing you may notice here and there is the little pieces that shed off of the rope when they're being used. Their website is always up to date providing your results for reference and giving you the next day's workout at midnight. Their email communication is great too! They aren't spammy but still keep us all informed. And finally... Even when the classes are big, there's always enough space and enough equipment for everyone. Thanks to my Mr for introducing me to the place and thank you to the whole Brink Nation for keeping me eager for another WOD!

Excuse my french, but I fucking absolutely LOVE this place!!!!!…read moreFirst off I have a love hate relationship of working out. The gym after awhile left me with no motivation and the trainers all look bothered when I would ask for help. So one of the besties found a groupon for Crossfit. I have to say I was uneducated about crossfit and thought it was for body builders only, so not true!!! Anyways my first experience with a certain crossfit was horrible!!!! I wont mention the name but it was also in Kendall and very close to home. I did see positive changes in my body but the attitude I received the bestie and I decided we were definitely not continuing with that a hole. Anyhow so bestie finds this one. Of course we come in a little nervous to see what kind of attitude these guys bring. Absolutely NONE. These guys take their time, explain things as many times as u need too in order to get it. They watch you and help you if they see you doing something wrong or if you begin to slack. I had an accident and really messed up my back and these guys were still willing to work with me and give me other exercises to do if I couldn't do the scheduled workout. These guys really care and push you to do better. After the groupon expires bestie and I really plan on staying cause there just a great group of trainers who I know will help build up our strength and confidence. Thanks guys for showing us Crossfit can be fun and keeping us motivated!!!

I probably could have written this the second week after joining, super friendly staff and members with a strong sense of community, wide range of skill and fitness levels with everyone working on getting better, even members I met the first week were welcoming. Another great thing about zoom is the facility, large and does open gym all day, so if you are looking to do your own thing and not a class you can. The bathroom is clean and spacious, I shower there and then head to work so its perfect and they have in a bunch of little stuff in there, q tips, swabs, I just take a 3 in 1 wash and left in the shower. To top it off, there is a smoothie bar on the top floor, awesome smoothies and friendly staff, even when you go in there drenched in sweat they are cool. Since I've joined, a workout has not been repeated. Dre and the coaches are attentive and make sure you're performing every movement correctly so you don't get hurt. They also push you along the way when they know you got a little more in you. Dre has helped me face my fears and has pushed me in movements that I'm not a fan of doing. The music selection is always poppin' too! They have a good schedule and offer various classes; high intensity training, cardio classes (called Strowke), Culo and Core class on Satudays (booty growing class). The facility is always clean and organized. They have 2 bathrooms in which 1 has a shower. They provide hygienic products, scrunchies, first-aid kit, pads and tampons. Also, they have a lot of parking available.
