However,…read moreI was unable to reserve classes beyond the 8th due to my billing cycle--even though my home studio allows bookings through the end of the month. After speaking with a rep at my primary studio, I was told that if the NC studio could book just one class for me, I'd be able to schedule the rest. I've called this studio multiple times over several days--3 to 4 times at least--and no one has answered or returned my calls. It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional, especially knowing that studios typically have front desk staff available during operating hours. I'm extremely disappointed by the lack of basic customer service and communication.

This location is actually convenient for me between work and home. The hours fall within what I need- although it might not work for everyone. What makes this all women club great is the program itself. A full 30 minute full body workout that let's face facts ladies- we can spare just about that much time. The owner Chris is really caring and wonderful and remembers everyone who comes through the door. It's like a family at curves- not just a business. With contests and they also offer some Zumba classes for a fee, there is something for everyone. Best part is no adjusting the machines and a key card that keeps track of how hard you are working out and your progress. They offer a free intro class so I went for it! Rachel and Dacey were there on my first day and I have to say I've never felt so welcomed at a fitness studio before. Both women were super friendly and helpful, they made me feel comfortable right away. I also appreciated the intro texts from the owner Jennifer, she is also quick to text back if you have any questions. Schedule wise I have mainly been going to Emily's classes and she has been great as well. I really love the class itself because the minute you are so sick of cycling or are just so done with strength training, you are already moving on to the next thing. The class is 20 minutes of spin, 20 minutes of strength training, closing with 20 minutes of yoga. It's honestly awesome and a little bit of everything. There are folks within a wide variety of fitness levels in each class. They have a board up in spin, but you only compete against yourself and not the whole class. In strength there are always modifications to make things easier or more difficult. The yoga section is beginner yoga, but I'd say it would be good to have some knowledge of yoga before your first class, just the basics. The staff take care of cleaning everything so you don't have to worry about that in between sessions. They clean things right away so you know they value making sure everything is in great shape for everyone. You leave your stuff in strength when you move to yoga and oftentimes when I go back to my station they have taken the care to literally fold my sweatshirt while they are cleaning the station. I've just never been to a gym studio that takes that much care. On top of the free intro class, I've noticed they often have promotions going on for your first month. Overall, I am so happy I've joined SPENGA and I hope it's something I continue to keep up with. If you are looking for soemthing new, I highly recommend checking them out.

I walked in, had a great conversation with the manager, Mike, about my goals, and within a few days I signed up for both the gym and personal training. Mike is knowledgeable, approachable, and truly invested in helping members succeed. My main goal was building strength, and with his guidance, I've not only gained strength but also lost weight and inches along the way. What really sets this gym apart is how personalized the training feels. Mike helped put together a training plan with different workouts and a plan that works with how I actually eat no extreme or unrealistic restrictions, which has made it sustainable and effective. That approach alone has made a huge difference. The gym itself is always clean, organized, and well maintained, and the recent updates to the equipment and locker rooms are a great bonus. Laura was extremely responsive, responding within the hour of my email. Olympica was at the front desk when I arrived for my scheduled 7:45 Friday tour. My tour with Olympia was informative but also straight to the point. Most of my questions were answered. I was referred online for a description of the classes offered. I've visited a few times already for a few workouts. I like the turf training area. I have spent most of my cardio workout sessions on the elliptical machine. Very smooth cardio ride, with no squeaks, and the elliptical seems to be in good working condition. I enjoyed my free personal training session with Coach King. King's training style is challenging and motivating. O2 Fitness seems like a quality workout experience with and without a trainer. Overall good experience. I saw a machine that could use a dust down at the bottom (near foot areas), and at least one elliptical I used could stand to be replaced due to a worn-out part. I've found it to be a bit warmer than I would like for a gym (without a ceiling fan). Perhaps the temp of the AC should be reviewed.
