My review will cover Stefani's barre class. I was first introduced to barre in 2019 and I've fallen in love with the practice. Stefani's barre class at Facet Seven Heights is my absolute favorite! Stefani is very upbeat, personable, fun, and extremely energetic! Her class is great for beginners and those who are advanced in the practice! She always has a fun playlist to rock out to and it makes the class even more fun! If you visit this gym, I definitely recommend checking out Stefani's barre class. She teaches on Mondays at 7:10pm, Thursdays at 6:20 or 6:35pm (sorry I can't remember), Saturdays at 10:35am, and Sundays at 9:45am.

Instantly when I started taking classes at Facet Seven I appreciated the community and friendliness at the front desk, members, and the instructors as well. I mainly take Stefani's barre, yoga, and ABC class but also have enjoyed HIIT and strengthcon with Emma. Stefani is a bright light and makes working out so fun but also challenging. Emma similarly looks to challenge but is also motivating and provided me modifications when needed with an injury, looking out for me when I didn't realize I could re-injure something without even knowing. The gym has a variety of equipment but is on the smaller side, so it's easier to see and get to know regulars in your class but also meet new people. Highly recommend!

Sweating, running, push-ups, pull-ups, etc., and being expected to complete the series of assigned exercises? You probably also remember the last time you were able to do all those things with ease when you were 12. Well, Body Camp is like that. As an adult, I appreciate the simplicity of conditioning your body by using your own strength and resistance. No gym, no weights, just good old-fashioned physical labor. For me, SEAL PT is the best workout. I took classes years ago, but moved and had to drop out. I'm hoping to achieve this time around what I did then, which is to get into the best shape of my life. Graduating to the more difficult Boot Camp and eventually becoming a Lifer would be great, too. The camaraderie and results can't be found in a gym. As a side note, Instructor Harris is not boring! At least my body doesn't think so - three days straight of his workouts required multiple Advils just to function.

I've also taken a few 3-4 week pauses and I've been surprised that every time I come back and still love it, and continue to feel strong. I really feel that the coaches at district H are an excellent fit for me. I enjoy the community that Jose has created, the feeling of all working together and encouraging one another, the friendly banter and the gentle push to do better. I have taken several small concerns to him and I've felt that they have been sincerely heard and addressed. I've also asked for what I need from several coaches and I feel they have always responded. (I frequently ask the coaches what weight I should aim for, or what time I should hit on the rower, or who I should chase in a specific WOD, and I feel confident that they know me well enough to respond and help me push myself). I've gone to several other boxes around the heights as a guest or with friends and I must say, I think district H is pretty special.

I've been doing CF for over a year and during that time I have tried out many CF gyms (in TX and out-of-state). This is by far one of my better decisions that has continued to pay physical and mental dividends. Pros: +Coaching (well-trained, upbeat, well-informed, diverse in background of expertise, strong holistic programming, instruction is form-focused) +Gym (up-to-date equipment, clean, plenty of space for large classes, good ventilation, canopy in the back) +People (chill, friendly, good mix of competitive and active folks with regular jobs, "family" feel, all body types and levels of fitness welcome) +Misc (protein/drink supplements on site for sale, kid-friendly, dog-friendly, updated programming added Yoga, Olympic strength training, nutrition plans, in close proximity to great Heights eateries for post-workout calories) Cons: -No shower on site (not a deal breaker and not common at most CF gyms) Drop in and get to know some of the coaches, they're all approachable.

The trainer spends the entire class talking over a PA system--mostly just shouting verbal encouragement and counting down time blocks rather than providing actual coaching. During my time on the rowing and weight floor stations, the floor routine was displayed on a TV screen. By the end of the workout, I felt frustrated and left knowing that Orangetheory's style of fitness is definitely not a good fit for me.

Well, as cheesy as this may sound, just going to this boot camp for two weeks has helped me in ways beyond healthiness. They are just so darn positive at mean green! Its infectious! I can only vouch for the woodland park location, where I am trained by Dez. I mean she is just phenomenal. And I am not pulling your chain, she stresses positive reinforcement throughout, and it's not just lip service. I can tell she equally believes in positivity in her everyday life and work as a trainer. She goes above and beyond to make everyone feel comfortable, and gives everyone individual attention / motivation. I truly have found myself chanting the mantras during the day..lol.. "I can do this. Today is going to be great. I will have a great day no matter what." Granted I feel a tinsy bit silly, but it really helps. Some important details to note: * since it is an outdoor bootcamp my allergies have been bugging me a bit. * I bought this bootcamp through groupon, but otherwise it may have been out of my price range. Considering this, I am contemplating renewing my next six weeks with a half off coupon from the camp. That's how much I like it, and I am openly frugal. * Because of my groupon, I am not 'full access.' Full access members get initiated, and turn in food charts and weigh in. I want to do all these things so badly to get back on track. All in all, dez is a phenomenal trainer, and this boot camp is very personable in nature. They aim to get to know you and your goals and help you achieve them. AND if motivation is what you are really lacking, which was my issue, this place is great for you.

She is emphatic about all classmates treating each other with respect and encouragement. Believe me, you will appreciate the encouragement, since some days when you get home from class it will be a tough decision, whether you want to eat dinner or puke. :) Dawne goes above and beyond the role of trainer, is extremely supportive of all her boot campers, and is a great person at heart and a great friend.
