I finally found a auto repair company that does business the way it should be done!…read moreHonest, fast, polite! They will now be our household's new place for auto repair and upkeep. Our Nissan rogue flashed a warning that there was no oil in the car and to pull over immediately. Which we did. We were confused because there didn't seem to be any oil leaks, and the oil plug looked like it was still in place. (my husband neglected to tell me he stopped checking the fluid levels monthly.) As our previous auto mechanic closed his shop, we hadn't had a chance to find a new one. So we looked on yelp and noticed clutch auto was only a few miles away although they seemed fairly new. They had only a couple reviews, but they were positive. So I decided to give them a try and called them and made an appointment for the same day and had the car towed to them. They did a full inspection and did not see anything wrong with the oil other than it needed it. They suggested an oil change however their inspection showed that there was some work that needed to be done on the suspension I requested photos however they had already taken them, which really impressed me seconds later they sent me a full report, including photos showing what needed to be repaired and why. By the end of the day, all the work was done. And I picked it up the next morning. I'm really impressed that they did NOT try to say other work needed to be done, as most other places would. Instead they were honest and explain that they would consider the suspension was in the yellow zone needing to be done soon, but could be put off a little bit if necessary. The cost for a full synthetic oil change was much less than five minute oil, However, I asked if they had a senior citizen discount they did not however they did have a 10% off first time customer discount, which brought the full job (oil change/suspension work) significantly in price.

While several other shops wouldn't even touch the suspension conversion delete (air to coil spring conversion) on my Jeep, Carter took it on without hesitation and did an outstanding job. But the only constructive criticism I'd offer is when I called to make an appointment I was told they had a 0930A slot open on 08-08-25. I didn't ask for this date. That's the day I was offered. Now to be fair, I came to Christian Bros. because they beat the price of this install by $150.00 when compared to Peoria Subaru. But to my dismay, I didn't anticipate this install taking the entire day. Peoria Subaru quoted me 2 hr. install + 1 hr. on the alignment rack. Christian Bros. closes at 6p. and at 630p - I was still sitting in their lobby. I did not get any updates throughout the day & had to call myself and ask at 530p. I believe they overbooked themselves. I don't know if that necessarily detracts from their great customer service, but it's constructive criticism I'd offer to their mgmt.
