I give Chimney Sweepers a 5 star review because not only did they meet expectations, they also worked around my busy schedule to do the job in a pinch. Further, the work they did involved some construction, and I was super nervous about dust everywhere. Diego ensured that the team fully "tented" the area with plastic. Called for an appointment on Thursday and Friday morning the chimney guy was at the apt ready to do his job. It took him about an hour for cleaning and inspection and he told me that the fireplace was not used much in the past and it just needed a good cleaning and lookover . Rate was reasonable and the advice he gave me for proper maintenance and care was very useful ..Was thinking about having the fireplace sealed up so I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore when the new tenant moves it but the chimney guy told me , it would be a shame to not have a fireplace especially during the winter time and a fireplace in a condo apt is rare and very cool , so fireplace stays put . Glad I called Mr chimney to give the fireplace a checkup . 4.5 stars on my yelp meter .

The work was efficient and skilled. All of our questions were answered and we were walked through the work that needed to be done so that we had a better understanding of best practices for our particular unit. The technician, Vlad, was super friendly and trustworthy - he even fixed a broken latch and threw in a fireplace remote for free! Now we don't even have to get off the couch to turn the fireplace on :) Side note: We originally had such a hard time finding someone to service our gas fireplace as many companies wouldn't work on the system unless they had been the ones who installed it...but Chimney Experts to the rescue!!! They were super knowledgeable of our specific gas unit even though they didn't do the original installation and had it fixed and looking like new in under an hour. Wish we had called them first!

I recently moved into a flip and, to both of our surprise, discovered feet of concrete and bricks stuffed in the middle of my chimney -- meaning my hot water heater and gas line weren't venting properly. Oscar and his team quite literally saved my life. When you buy a new home, you never know what surprises are waiting behind the walls. Oscar went above and beyond to make sure I was safe, that the job was done correctly, and that they'd leave with absolutely no trace they were ever there. Mid-project, they had to open a wall, and not only did they patch the drywall, but they painted it, too -- you'd never know it was touched. He took the time to explain everything in detail so I could actually understand the process, documented every step, and made me feel like a true partner in the project. One thing he said that really stuck with me was: "I know you own the house, but it's our fireplace now." That level of care and pride in his work says it all. Oscar is the definition of integrity, skill, and kindness. If you're lucky enough to get on his schedule, you're in the best hands possible. I can't recommend him highly enough.
