I didn't want any special treatment from this business because of my previous Yelp review. So, I waited awhile, then we went back, picked out items, presented them for payment, showed my Veteran's ID, and this time received their advertised Military / Veterans Discount. The measure of good customer service is rectifying issues to the customers satisfaction. Businesses that develop and maintain a customer service mindset are able to learn from mistakes. Off Road Warehouse management acknowledged and accepted their previous mistake and avoided blaming me the customer. It analyzed honestly and objectively what went wrong. It implemented corrective actions. It actively sought to make and keep me and my family members as customers. Staff answered all our questions and provided adequate and alacritous service Selection was adequate for the type of store it is Organized Clean Disabled-friendly Family-friendly No one here offered to commit fraud to reward us, pay us or compensate us for posting 5 star reviews of this business. Blessed are those who provide good customer service. Good customer service, which we got here, is all about bringing customers back. And about sending them away happy - happy enough to pass positive feedback about your business along to others, who may then try the product or service you offer for themselves and in their turn become customers and then repeat customers. I rate 'em 3 stars. According to Yelp ratings' definitions, that's "Ok". That to me is an acceptable rating of something that does day in and day out what it is there to do. It's NOT a negative review because doing day in and day out what it is there to do is NOT an easy thing to accomplish. I added a fourth review star for their finally complying with their boast of having a Military / Veterans Discount. I added the fifth review star because their management provided good customer service when they publicly addressed and corrected the previous issue that led to my first not-so-glowing review. The essence of good customer service is forming a relationship with customers - a relationship that a customer feels that she or he would like to continue. I'll be back. They told me any time after 11:00 a.m. would work, so I scheduled my appointment for 4:30 p.m. since I get off work at 4:00. I arrived at 4:28 p.m., parked my car, and walked up to the front door only to find the business locked. I checked the time to make sure I wasn't early or late, then waited in my car for over 30 minutes thinking someone might have stepped away. During that time, I repeatedly called the business, but no one answered. This alignment was important because I had just replaced both CV axles and needed to have the alignment done afterward. I work long hours and have very little free time, so showing up for a scheduled appointment only to find the business closed with no notice was extremely frustrating. Based on my experience, this was unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. If you schedule an appointment here, be aware that your time may not be respected. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this business based on how my appointment was handled.
