I was recommended to this company by Reno Vulcanizing on North Virginia and as usual, I wasn't disappointed. This is a fantastic place for new and used tires and wheels. The associates were friendly and helpful and I bought a GREAT used tire from them at a GREAT price. Should the need arise, I'll certainly go back to them. Affordable Tire & Wheels - Tires Near Me - Sun Valley, Nevada

Two years ago I lost a hubcap off of my Dodge Ram 2500. I tried to find a replacement, I searched and searched to no avail. Yesterday I was driving up Sun Valley Drive and saw a small bussiness yard with Tires, Wheels, and Hubcaps. I turned in and went inside and ask if they had a hubcap that would fit my truck. The lady at the counter looked out the window by her desk and said one moment I will look, in less than five minutes she walk back in holding a hubcap that looked just like the three that were still on the truck. We went out and she put it on the tire. She said $20 plus tax. Local, courteous, knowledgeable, efficient, and affordable. read more

They harassed me on Facebook and through messages....I would go anyplace other than here...the treatment is way unreasonable... The employee chased me out to my car and yelled through the window at me.....for saying wow he called me a baby and said I through a fit....I said wow!!! That's all it takes....and you too can get harassed by rude employees.... read more

Affordable Tire & Wheels - Propane tank - Tires Near Me - Sun Valley, Nevada

Since I have always lived nearby I've been here plenty of times. My only complaint would be that a couple of times that I went in they didn't have a tire to fit my car. There is a reason this place has lasted well over these many years. (I actually remember going inside the little shop as a child) Yesterday I FB messaged the business asking if they had a tire for my car. They checked and voila! So today I brought my car in and I was immediately met outside. I told the attendant that I needed a new tire. He took a look before I even drove in and told me he could plug it if I wanted (much cheaper option) While they worked my GF and I went to the 7-11. By the time we got back they had finished! I walked inside to pay and was SHOCKED that I was only being charged $14. Today I expected to spend at least $85. This place and the people in it have always been good to me and I am so grateful! read more

I took my wife's 2012 Toyota 4Runner down to affordable tire and wheel, I bought four brand new tires and had them mounted and balanced, the balance job was horrible, there was never any problems before with shaking or vibration, what's the old tires, and as soon as I had to input the new tires on and had them balanced I got going down the freeway, and the steering wheel shook the seats shook everything shook. Never will I deal with these guys ever again they are a joke, spend a little extra money and go to some place that's reputable! read more

These guys do it RIGHT. Fast, no 300-400% mark ups, give it to you straight, and give you options. I will forever come to them and recommend them to anyone. DO NOT pass them up by going to a big name chain. They literally saved me $1000. So grateful. read more

Today was my solo trip to Tahoe and God was like wait a minute, can't have you getting hurt now. And my tire sensor said 4 psi. I called around and auto parts shops said this was the best service. I looked on Yelp and it had no hours so I was afraid I'd have to miss out on what I spent on the Airbnb. Thank goodness they're open on Sundays and I only had to wait twenty minutes. In less than half an hour I was squared away! Thanks so much Affordable for making it painless and easy. read more

These guys are great, swung by with a bunch of questions since I was upgrading from 13" to 14" he suggested going a bit bigger since 14" are getting harder to find also. He took time to explain we could go 16" and just change sidewall to keep circumference the same and when he didn't have that size he didn't upsell me he told me to check CL for take offs. Mount and balance was super reasonable once I found a set definitely coming back! read more

This is by far the easiest, friendliest, most cost efficient and I guess just the best place to get tires in Reno. The first time I got tires from I got tires from here was about 8 years ago when I had my Explorer. I remember freaking out cuz I needed all four tires and WalMart wanted $1000, Big O was $1200 and here I got all 4 installed for $600! And again today I got all four tires for my Camry for $300! Brand new tires too! The staff is amazing and knowledgeable and they will/can fix flats, repair nail holes and even fill your propane tank. I honestly don't see myself doing business anywhere else anytime soon! I recommend Affordable to each person who asks about tires and I recommend them to you! read more

We're students, and were looking for a set of tires for our all time 4 wheel drive. We phoned and talked to Larry, who said he had a good set of four. Now, if you've ever shopped around for tires on the phone, you know that what the dealers say, and what you see when you get to the dealers are often two different things. Not in Larry's case. He was as good as his word, had 4 matching used tires in good shape, and got them on our vehicle quickly and professionally and at the price he quoted us. Nice person too. We'll be going back to Absolute tire. You should too. read more

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable service. Great pricing. All my friends and family have always came to this great tire shop.

Affordable Tire & Wheels are just that...affordable. Sure, you can buy better name brand tires at a higher price like the name brand stores sell but it often comes down to affordability which is what Affordable offers. As a bonus, Affordable can install, customer's tires on rims even if they weren't purchased by them...as long as they are safe used tires. Affordable is a great place to get your flat fixed or your cars wheels and tires out of a pinch especially with their enormous selection of used wheels and rims, perfect for getting you back on the road. The service is always fast and courteous. Don't expect to have comfortable seating, coffee and donuts, or other frivolous creature comforts. Affordable is affordable and it is proven on the bottom line. I've been using them for years. read more

Talking about the sun valley location, these guys are great. Fast would be an under statement. They beat other companies for the prices and not by a little. I went in for trailer tires for my boat. les schawb and big o were fifty bucks more. I do like keeping my money in my community and these guys have my business for life. read more

I came in to do a tire swap. The workers are helpful and courteous and was not charged a ridiculous price for the service. If you need good, inexpensive used tire work, this is the place to go. Don't expect any fancy frills. read more

I was calling around to find a decent price on a used tire because the last place I used charged me a ridiculous amount. I was recommended Affordable Tire & Wheels by a guy at Reno Vulcanizing. I went in, they had my tire, and they got me out for $45. read more

John is a great guy. Recently had him fit some tires I already had, to my van. Turns out one had a very slow puncture, not Johns fault, as he did not supply the tires. I went back to have him fix the flat, but instead he gave me another tire since the one with the flat was a bit dodgy. Talk about excellent customer service. I have used John place for quite some years now and have recommended him to friends, and family. He is honest and straightforward, qualities which can be hard to find today, particularly in the auto industry. read more

The manager was a huge jerk but the guy that mounted my tire was very nice and finished the job quickly. When the manager asked him what was done and how much to charge, the installer pointed at a tire and told him. The manager yelled at him and said he was pointing at the wrong job. We both went into the store he kept complaining about the installer, how it was like talking to a board. I thought it was rude. I gave him my debit card to pay and he asked me for id. I told him I didn't have id because i had forgotten my wallet. He yelled "Who drives around without id?" By that point I was upset and got mad at him. He didn't need to treat me or his employees like that. I always like this place because they do good work and they are fast but maybe they could learn how to treat customers better. read more
