I originally rented my first unit in 2021. The listed property manager at the time was A. Addison. 2. Upsized Unit (Late 2023 / Early 2024) I upgraded to a larger unit. My costs were: Rent: $143.00 Admin Fee: $28.00 The contract also included storage insurance: Coverage Amount: $5,000 Monthly Premium: $16 Insurance Start Date: 1/23/2024 3. Unit Leak & Damage (January 2024) When I accessed the new unit (Unit 6066), I discovered that all of my belongings had been soaked by rain. I immediately emailed the management team with photos and video. 4. Filed Insurance Claim (1/26/24) I submitted a claim through Xercor for $28.00, including full documentation. 5. Master Policy Notice Xercor later emailed stating that my claim fell under a master policy held by the storage facility, not a personal policy. 6. Submitted Additional Documentation .I provided an affidavit confirming the accuracy of my $28.00 claim. Transferred to New Unit & Poor Service (February 2024) Management assigned me a new unit (6514) and told me I could take possession on 2/3/24. However: The manager never removed the lock. I arrived at 7 AM but management did not show up until 10 AM, leaving me waiting 3 hours in the parking lot. This was extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. 10. Claim Denied (February 2024) Despite paying monthly insurance fees, my $28.00 claim was denied, which made the insurance feel like a scam. 11. Gate Access Issues (2/19/24) My access code suddenly stopped working due to an internal "mix-up" that occurred during my transfer from the leaking unit. Ongoing Billing Errors & Additional Fees (2024-2025) The problems continued for more than a year: Feb 6, 2025: I received a new invoice with insurance charges added again, even after my claim had already been denied. Feb-Apr 2025: I provided proof of homeowners insurance multiple times, but they continued charging me for storage insurance. Late April 2025: Manager Theresa finally submitted a request to correct my account. The Owners never corrected . I asked for an updated statement four times, but the management team still did not refund the unnecessary insurance fees. Nov 2025: They charged me again for insurance and added a $5 online payment fee. Overall Summary This facility: Charges unnecessary and repeated fees Fails to honor their own insurance policies Provides extremely poor customer service Has ongoing management and billing incompetence Creates unnecessary stress and financial inconvenience Based on my documented experience, this storage location tends to nickel-and-dime customers, lacks proper management, and offers unreliable service. Not very clean in my opinion and my images I can add upon request. Recommendation: Do yourself a favor and avoid this location. The emotional stress, inconvenience, and constant billing issues simply aren't worth it.

It then took another hour for them to come to unit to unlock it, followed by another half hour or so for them to get me the right code for the gate. 2. While the unit looked clean inside and out on first inspection, two weeks later there was bird poop all around the upper corner of the garage door. When I opened the door, a bunch of leaf and pine needle debris came out -- enough to fill a medium-sized moving box. It's clear birds were nesting there. 3. When I reported it, they said they'd seal off the top. Why isn't the top already sealed off? Why do you have openings for birds to enter in the first place or why aren't there regular preventative measures? 4. When I came back to check in another two weeks, nothing was sealed and there was more fresh poop and still more debris. 5. It's been less than 2 months and i moved out of the storage unit. More debris, more poop, a super foul smell inside from all of this, and...*drumroll* there were cockroaches crawling all over the back and side of the unit. Basically nobody really cares about anything here. A few of the employees are really nice but they can't be expected to extend themselves if management is blasé or if they are under compensated or overworked.

Sadly, the quality has significantly gone down with this company... so much so, that I can't say…read morethat I feel comfortable referring them to anyone who expects appointments to be kept, as well as their furniture to arrive undamaged. I used them two years ago and had a fantastic experience, but this one definitely fell short. I scheduled my move for 10 a.m. and received a text message at 2 a.m. the morning of my move rescheduling my appointment for later that morning. There was no explanation given in the automated message, and suffice it to say I was not happy (in addition to the automated message, I would have appreciated a quick mail explaining the reason for the reschedule, and offering me some sort of compensation for the inconvenience). I was even more unhappy when they arrived later than the rescheduled time. The movers worked very hard and given the number of steps and the amount of belongings, I felt that the amount of time the move took was acceptable. However, what made me most unhappy about this experience was the condition of my furniture when it arrived... and the subsequent lack of response. Before and after the move, they do a "walkthrough" to look at your furniture, note any pre-existing damage, as well as any damage that was sustained during the move. In theory it is a great idea, but in practice it was pretty pointless. It's almost impossible to thoroughly perform that task when there are boxes and bags all over the place, and you can barely move around in the house. The day after my move, as I'm unpacking and reorganizing my furniture, I noticed some damage to a few of my items. My bar suffered significant damage on both sides, to the point where some of the wood has been completely chipped off. One of my living room chairs had a really bad scratch on one of its back legs, and my dresser got a pretty bad scratch on the bottom. (Maybe the furniture was not wrapped properly. I don't know). I contacted the company immediately to inform them of the damage. In response, I was reminded of the walkthrough and was told that the owner would get back to me. He never did. The reason I chose to give repeat business to Jason and his company is because it was a small business run by a guy who really seemed to care about his customers, and wanted to do a good job at a great price. Since then, the prices have gone up, and the service (in terms of getting my items into my home undamaged) has gone way down. Moreover, this company has consistently demonstrated difficulty properly managing scheduled moves. This move was delayed because a job they booked the day before went longer than expected. My first move with this company was also delayed because Jason booked two jobs too close together and the job before mine also took longer than he expected. These delays should not impact the customer... and if they do, then the customer should be compensated for it. Otherwise, if you see you're getting behind, bring in some extra guys, and do what needs to be done to get to the next job on time. I really liked doing business with this company the first time and was hoping for a repeat performance. Sadly, that was not the case, and as a result, this will be my last time doing business with Quality Movers.

Quality movers?? How about unqualified movers! Where do I even start? First red flag; after…read morereceiving a reasonable quote over the phone, I asked about paying a deposit. Jason told me that I didn't have to pay one. I thought that was strange because I had never experienced that with a "professional" moving company. Initially, I just wanted them to load and unload my own moving truck. Then, the day before my move I decided that I would use their full services. Jason told me that it was not possible because it was last minute. Ummmmm, what type moving company does not have trucks available?? I don't care if it was the morning of. You're a moving company for goodness sake! So I'm like whatever. I did wait last minute I guess. Anywho, they showed up 20 min late but I didn't trip about that. A couple of hours into loading the truck, I notice a car has been outside all the while with a lady sitting in it staring me down. Astonishingly, it was the mover, Jason's wife! It must've been bring your wife and kids to work day and I clearly didn't get the memo. They literally loitered in front of my building for the entire 8 hour move (yes, I said 8 hours!) in the car waiting for them to finish. Why couldn't they stay home and he just come with the car? She was their ride. Seemed kind of fishy. Like did either of the movers not have a license? PEOPLE BEWARE. That could be a liability to you if your mover isn't licensed or insured. So after unloading the truck, Jason wants to talk fees. He came up with this outrageous fee that he calculated in his head. He wanted me to pay 30% more than what we initially agreed upon, based on a whole bunch of hidden fees that were not discussed during the initial quote. I was completely in shock. The audacity of this man to charge such an excessive amount with everything that transpired throughout the day. Let's go through the list of horrible things: 1.) I had to provide my own truck. 2.) He was late. 3.)He brought his wife and kids to work. 4.)They took FOREVER!! 5.) I had a truck with more than enough room and they didn't load the truck properly. I had to make several trips after the "move" in my car to finish getting my stuff. 6.)They tore the walls and doors to the brand new apartment so now I have to pay for painters. 7.)They tore up the deck to the patio which will require a paint job also. 8.) Scratched the top of my dryer that I was planning to sell (now it has rusted :/ ) 9.)Annnnd his wife's car battery died and she asked for a jump. 10.)They also took the liberty to help themselves to some of my stuff that I had off to the side for disposal. I expressed my grievances about the fee and that I was not paying that outrageous amount (HE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A TRUCK! ), which upset him. So guess what he does next? HE STOLE THE KEYS TO MY RENTAL TRUCK!!! I called and messaged his phone and asked him for the key with no reply. I finally had to just call the police. It was a complete nightmare. I have NEVER experienced anything like this before. I've used more reputable moving companies for less the time and half the cost. I'm so shocked at all these five star reviews. My experience was HELL. Moving is never a walk in the park -- I hired movers to make my life easier and this was the complete opposite. My experience with this company was unprofessional, unreliable, and completely UNACCEPTABLE.
