WOW WOW WOW! I was desperately searching to get my eyebrows threaded. My usual spot was closed for some reason and my eyebrows were SO bushy. So I went to Yelp to find a place and behold....EZ Threads. I looked at the website and saw the most amazing thing ever...text for appointment. Such ease especially while you are busy at work. I arrived on time and sat in the waiting area. When I was up, she literally took 2 mins to tear apart my bushy eyebrows. It did not hurt at all. Probably the best experience I've had with eyebrow threading. $12 for eyebrows and $8 for upper lip. Highly recommend! read more

I was working an event at the Moscone center, and when I was done...I just wanted to be pampered and refreshed. I felt haggard. After scouring yelp for a decent threader, I stumbled across this place and gave them a call. Luckily, I only had to wait about 5 minutes, and I was out in about 10-15. Mamta was amazing, and shaped my brows with perfection -- I mean, she ACTUALLY evened them out! I've been trying to get other places to do that for months, and I haven't ever been satisfied with the results. I wish I just kept them up after the visit! The people here are not very friendly. Maybe because I was using a Groupon? Who knows. Anyway, I don't know the name of my threader because I don't ask if they don't do a good job. She shortened my right brow and left a gap... I absolutely despise when the threader doesn't admit that they did anything wrong. She says, "this one is shorter, it will grow back, it also has a gap here, it will grow back". Look, you wouldn't have to tell me that it would grow back if you didn't take it off in the first place. No apologies - just acted like it was my eyebrows fault that she threaded the tail off and created a gap underneath the arch. I contacted Groupon re this issue and they issued a refund. I will not be returning because I can't afford to lose part of my eyebrow. read more

For 12 buckaroos, you'll be in and out in 10 minutes flat. That includes a thorough shaping, clean-up and a brief but invigorating aloe application to the threaded area. So if you're an waxing devotee, it might be time to switch teams! I just find threading to be less painful and far more accurate. On Thursdays and Saturdays, she's by appointment only but otherwise, it's always a good idea to just give her a quick call to see if she's available. I've never had a problem walking in but it's all about courtesy. She's such a sweet lady, those obnoxious threading kiosks at the mall could learn a lesson or two from Mamta! read more

3.5 stars Go to the address listed and up to the 7th floor. It is a small office building next to Chipotle. My review is for eyebrow threading only - I came here with the Groupon deal, which made the value worth it, but don't think I would be coming back to pay normal prices. I have had different threaders each time and I think the owner, Mamta, is probably the best. The other threaders I've had were pretty defensive if I thought they missed a spot or asked them some questions. On the plus side, you are in and out quickly and it is relatively painless. I just unfortunately did not have very consistent experiences with the threaders so it might really depend on who you get. read more

the feel: remember indian burns you'd get/give as a kid? Alright, so imagine several *intricate* indian burns being made around one of the most sensitive parts of your face..yes, your eyebrows. It hurts every time and any place I get it done at. On the outside a few tears are escaping but on the inside I'm forcing every molecule to withhold myself from crying. I want the avg male (excluding gays/trans/metros) to take a moment to think of the last time they had to go through this. Moving on... I've been referred to this place countless times by saleswomen from Macys/Nordstrom/Sephora and have heard great things of Mamata's threading through other Yelpers--and since I needed some major 'brow therapy after my workday, I made an appointment for my first session over the phone for a time slot 30 mins before closing. Got my eyebrows threaded, not without showing Maya my browspiration *Chrissy Teigen* of course (we have the round face/semi big forehead thing going for us), for just $14. And under 15 minutes, my eyebrow game is on point. Just what I asked for. Now where's John Legend? Jk (but rly). The place is clean and small, with a sense of "you've come here for a purpose, let's get this rolling" in the air. There are literally 2 chairs for the eyebrow service with a visible waxing table behind you. I'm intrigued to try their bikini wax ($40) service since they use hard wax (Google that shit, there's a difference ladies) and I'm really turned off by the idea of having to commute to Daly City for a waxin' at the European Wax Center (although they are pretty amazing). But I'm a yeller and have known to scream out Kelly Clarkson's name a few times in previous sessions (*See Steve Carrell 40 year Old Virgin)..and this place is way too intimate for that. *Calling all who have gotten a Brazilian/Bikini wax from here, documenting your experience on here would be much appreciated because it may just change my mind...thanks! read more

I got my eyebrows threaded here earlier today. I don't have an issue with the way my eyebrows were threaded. They look fine, she did a good job. However, I made an appointment for 12:30PM. I walked in put my name on the list and wrote "APPOINTMENT" next to my name and took a seat, but the lady still took other people ahead of me which means making an appointment here is pretty useless. She should pay more attention to the sign in sheet that she makes you fill out! I'm a pretty prompt person, if I made an appointment at 12:30PM, i'll be on time...but I hate having to wait around. I feel pretty "meh" about this place. Probably won't be back.... read more

It really is easy! I was able to walk in around 5 and get seen right away, but 2 ppl came in right after. You say brows, and they get to work. Thread. Trim. Maybe some aloe. They also don't ask what you want before jumping in or check with you midway, so make sure you speak up before they touch you if you're particular. Clean and nice enough spot though. read more

They were able to get me in last minute which may have been a bad sign. The woman did not wash her hands prior to beginning and they did not sanitize the area she would be working on. Lastly - one eyebrow is thinner than the other. There is nothing I hate more than a set of bad brows but I would have much rather not gone here. Now I have to go somewhere else and hope they even em out without going too thin!!! I wouldn't recommend this place. I stumbled upon this place after my usual place was closed. Wow. They do such a phenomenal job with eyebrow threading. And what's more, the thread is actually much nicer than usual. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for several years now, and was a bit worried about finding a reliable and cost-efficient place to get them done in the city (where EVERYTHING is expensive and threading seems to cost an arm and leg). So glad I found EZ threads! For 14 bucks (bring cash!), they do an excellent job, provide excellent customer service, and listen to what you want. On top of that, the threading feels GOOD. I'm not sure if it's the type of thread they use or their technique, but it feels like scratching an itch... soooo satisfying and I actually enjoy the feeling (as compared to other threading salons where I'm on the verge of tears from the pain). I'll never forsake you again, Mamta. Recently believed the hype and went into the Benefit Boutique across the street from Mamta to get my eyebrows threaded. Big mistake. Not only did it hurt 10x more than it doe when I got to EZ Threads, but the Benefit girl had to tweeze the hairs she couldn't get AND I realized after I'd left that she had actually broken the skin on my eye lids... leaving me swollen and with tiny scabs two days later :( Next time I'll go with my tried and true ladies at EZ Threads! read more

This is a go-to eyebrow threading place for me. They occupy a small unit on the 7th floor of a tall office building with an unassuming entrance/lobby area. The entrance to the building is locked. You may have to buzz to be let into the lobby area, or wait for someone coming out of the building, which is how I've typically entered. They are very efficient and professional. I've gone to them to get my eyebrows done, and they take ~10 minutes. You can call ahead or text to make an appointment or walk-in. They are cash-only so be prepared. Tried this place out bc I had a Groupon for 3 threadings. It was perhaps the most painless threading I've ever had. She was quick and gave me a lil aloe massage at the end. Very pleasant. I've always been so jealous of my older sister's substantial brows (I'm talking Cara Delevingne thickness)! Mine have constantly straddled the line between sparse and nonexistent. Mamata helped her, she was extremely sweet and soothing. My sister requested  to maintain the  thickness of her brow and for a natural arch. Cheap/nice as hell. I have been fighting my natural unibrow for nearly a decade and a half--I've plucked myself sperm eyebrows, driven a salon's customers away after having an allergic reaction to the wax, even had my eyebrows shaped by two ladyboys in Bangkok (one on each brow) and ended up cockeyed. However, I have been getting waxed since I was 15. I go every two or three weeks and my eyebrows look amazing every time It's also at a very convenient location, near Union Square. Pretty good! Place was pretty clean, and since it was my first threading I was expecting it to hurt do to some people's complaints however it was painless!!! Easier than waxing for sure and you don't break out! $14 is kind of pricey to me.... But probably due to me living in the east bay I'm used to seeing only $8 prices but not bad! I have to admit I was a little freaked out when I first saw my brows after they were done because they seemed thinner than before, but I actually like the way they look, so I'm happy. Overall it was a good experience. The threader who did my brows was quick and it was completely painless. No hard pressure, no tearing eyes, just a swift/deft hand and some nice looking brows afterward. My review is for the brow threading service. I have never had my brows threaded till now. It was a little painful but the end result was fantastic! I've paid to have my brows waxed before and hardly noticed the difference from before to after. Other times I've had my brows waxed and they've looked great. I will never relate to claims of "zero pain" because threading is overall unpleasant for me. Anyway it's longer-lasting, and more hygienic and effective than waxing, so here we are. EZ Threads sets the bar for relative painlessness. They are also my go-to for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and the consistently adroit service. They are lightning fast (perf for my wuss threshold for pain) and simply know what the hell they're doing.
