The shop itself is really cute and gives that old-school ice cream parlour vibe. It's not huge inside, but it honestly adds to the charm. They make their ice cream in house and have sooo many flavours to choose from, including a bunch of unique ones and homemade waffle cones that smell amazing when you walk in. I got the cookie dough and biscoff in one of their waffle cones and WOW. AMAZING. Literally so yummy. The cookie dough flavour was super creamy with big chunks throughout, and the biscoff was honestly one of the best I've tried! really rich and flavourful without being too sweet. Together they were such a good combo. And the waffle cone made it even better because it tasted super fresh and crispy. You can tell the quality of the ice cream is really good. It tastes homemade and rich instead of tasting icy or artificial. I totally get why this spot is always busy and why so many people love it. The staff were really friendly too and the line moved pretty fast even though there were lots of people coming in. That's one thing I noticed even when it's packed, they're super efficient. We popped in the store and the place was filled with people at around 8pm on a Friday. Just looking at the freezer, my husband and I were sold on the peanut butter and pistachio ice cream. No taste testing necessary! I was a bit disappointed with the bland flavour of the pistachio ice cream, but I did like that there were bits of nuts in it. The peanut butter ice cream was PERFECT!!! It had a strong peanut butter flavour, without being overly sweet. Love how there were rice puff blended in to elevate the texture. In fact, it was so good that we bought a tub to bring home! I really appreciate that they had benches for people to sit on inside the shop, as outside was a bit too cold for me that night.

We tried The salted caramel espresso, the vanilla, the strawberry, so overall what I would say is the ice cream is very mild and none of the ice cream flavors were that rich it did feel like a healthier alternative which is not bad but if you are someone who likes your ice cream to be a lot sweeter not sure that they have that type of option. It's got this amazing texture that's enhanced by the strong, irresistible vanilla flavor. Honestly it's among the best vanilla I can remember eating. The problem is, however, that I didn't order vanilla, I ordered Toasted Marshmallow. As I kept eating, I did find sporadic pockets of marshmallow, and they were good, but I definitely wouldn't classify them as "toasted." Still, I'd return just based on the strength of that vanilla.

It was so cute and it tasted even better. It wasn't crazy, over the top sweet and the toppings was just enough. I really enjoyed it. Only regret was stuffing my face too much for dinner that I didn't have enough room for a larger serving. Glad I was able to try this out, it was on my list during my last visit to Toronto and didn't get around to it. I'm happy it worked out this time.

The gelato is also dense and creamy, without being heavy, like authentic gelato should be (not airy). I've tried many flavours over the years and they are all amazing. I've never had a miss. My personal favourites include pistachio, yoghurt, mango, ferrero rocher, and hazelnut. I love that they make their gelato in-house. The ladies who work there know their stuff and take pride in their business. They also let you sample flavours before you commit.
