They have all manner of kitchenware and utensils, including small appliances. There's a lot of selection of everything and they usually have them out of the box so you can pick things up and get a feel for them. There were a lot of drink machines to choose from like espresso makers and carbonated water machines, including branded ones like Nespresso and SodaStream. They have a lot of collections and sets that you can coordinate between. There was ultimately a little too much selection as I needed a night to sleep on things lol.

We started with two pig halves and got to break down the pig with very minimal help from the instructor. We learned a whole lot and we got to take 25lbs home each. The whole environment/shop was very clean and organized. We did have a chance to look around the shop prior to the class and the owner was very friendly and answered any questions we had. While I didn't end up buying a knife from here, I do plan on it when I have enough in my budget to spend on a knife, as I'm not a professional chef. Gage (the owner) knows his stuff and will sharpen one knife for free when you come in and he does a great job. Cleaned up and sharpened my mom's Japanese knife that had gotten rusty. I recommend all my chef friends to go to him for knives, so I have to recommend any of you reading this should check it out. He's got a great selection of amazing knives.

I also had a browse around the store. The "Stuff Plus" also has outdoor furniture, bathroom, and bedroom wares. They had a large Zwilling display of knives and there were Cuisinart small appliances and a variety of coffee and beverage makers. They have a ton of kitchen options. Think walls of containers and organizers, dishware, and even cutting boards! The deals are speckled throughout the aisles as well, so it's worth a walk through.

Clearly I didn't remove it, or I would have removed it from the other 4 appliances. I found out that as it was the floor model, it should have gone in the garbage, not sold to me. So that's really bad on the sales persons part. I have an issue with my washer, I went through King and State. They sent out a technician, who refused to work on it because there was no serial number, but I do have the bill. I got an invoice from Whirlpool for the tech to show up, which I refused to pay, after several calls to the brick, they paid it and mediated between myself and King & State. They sent out another technician and that guy repaired my washer. However, he did something wrong, so had to come back 2 days later. That was about 8 months ago. The washer once again does not work, same error. King and State refuses to send out another technician. Might have something to do with the 5 year warranty expiring in 1 month. They actually cancelled my technician that they scheduled, siting that I've called 6 times, about the same issue. Calling and having the washer fixed are clearly different. I've called the brick, left messages and they are not calling me back. So although my initial experience in purchasing the products was ok, the customer service on both the Brick's part and their partner King & State has been less than desirable.

I wrote the EQ3 Head Office an extremely detailed email outlining my experience and forwarding my entire chain of communication with the Assistant Store Manager (fortunately I had everything in writing) only to receive the following response: "Thank you very much for sending the below message and bringing this to our attention. The loss prevention manager is aware and is currently investigating. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with the below details and apologize for any and all inconvenience you have experienced." Dealing with EQ3 has not only been an incredibly frustrating experience but also a fantastic waste of time. The cherry on top is that the Loss Prevention Manager is not even bothered enough to contact me personally regarding the entire experience. Abysmal customer service - STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!
