After much exchange that didn't go well, I told him that he shouldn't be doing plumbing and that the work that was completed, was so far below par that it was laughable. He seems to think that paying almost $4000 for this work, wasn't enough. We were quoted $2100 and ended up at close to $4000, because of this extra pipe which he made us think that was fixed correctly. The 10-15ft of pipe and elbow represents approx $50-100 in parts, not sure how we got up to close to $4000. But it was paid! We called him back because of the 5 yr Warranty, but that was him YELLING for 3-5 minutes at me trying to scream enough where I would want him out. He kept yelling at the top of his voice that I should be fired and that I didn't know what I was talking about, unfortunately he doesnt know who hes talking to 1) I'm the Client and 2) The owner of the building. I've attached pictures to hear your thoughts of this workmanship. I love the Electrical tape which I think is Master Plumber 101, "Things not to do" also has NO Hangers, to support the weight of the water in the pipe, NOT EVEN an apprentice would do such HORRIBLE WORK!! Pipe held up by Electrical tape.

From A Very Old and Dated 1999 Master En Suite...To My Dream Bathroom…read more It is said the first place potential buyers look when viewing a property, is the kitchen and the bathrooms. The two most important areas of any house for most people. Both in terms of efficiency, looks and investment. In June 2018 I visited Ewelina at Kitchen & Bathroom Galleries in Burlington to ask if she cold help me put together a plan for the renovation of our old En Suite, which was in dire needs of updating. Everything was builder's grade and showing the signs of wear and tear. Over the course of several months, Ewelina and I selected and purchased all the fixtures and fittings along with the various extras that we will benefit from as we age in our home. I cannot over emphasize how important it is to take some time to look at the various websites out there which can help you determine what you really like e.g. Houzz, Pinterest etc. It will help your designer focus upon your style and of course budget. Once all the components were purchased and ready for delivery...then the Contractors (Wesly and Sebastian in my case) were able to begin demolition of the old bathroom. Demolition Day is an unbelievably quick process. Especially when you are in the hands of two guys who have plenty of practice and experience under their belt. The amount of preparation that goes into the planning stage once demolition is complete, will at this point in time pay dividends. There are a million and one variables that go into achieving the final result and every single detail counts. Lots of measuring, calculating, verification and consultation. Before demolition begins, Wes and Sebastian will cover any furniture and protect your belongings by covering any open areas, blinds or flooring. Anywhere that could be affected by the dust that will ensue once demolition and renovation begins. They also change into indoor shoes when they arrive each morning. And clear up each evening before they leave. This was a thoughtful gesture which I appreciated. Your life will be upside down for the next little while! That I can guarantee. Electrical installations are handled separately (by Anatoly in my case) at various stages of the project. This is determined by the progress and stages completed by the Contractors. An Electrical Inspection is officially made to the home both during electrical installation and for final inspection at the end of the project. One more tradesperson who contributed towards my project was Frank, who took the template measurements for the two 9' tall glass panels in my shower stall. The installers, Ali and Jashan (?) who were incredible at handling the sturdy glass (but glass nevertheless!) during installation. Each and every person who played an important role in my renovation has to be commended for their professionalism. I must not forget Igor who templated the quartz countertop and backsplash. You can be rest assured the people who K & B Galleries assign to your project are very passionate about what they do. Including the showroom staff (Ewelina and Lara). I would highly recommend Kitchen and Bathroom Galleries - Burlington based upon my personal experience. Thank you to everyone who helped create My Dream Bathroom. A special mention to John Lokert for over-seeing progress every step of the way.

The project, originally targeted for completion in late September, extended for several months with shifting schedules and inconsistent communication. A critical design issue emerged. The cabinet line was recommended, specified, and ordered by their in-house team (for which additional design fees were paid), yet the final layout did not properly accommodate the appliances we had already purchased. This required additional expense and changes to the approved plan. At termination, deficiencies remained unresolved. We retained another contractor to complete and correct the work. For an engagement at this price point, the level of coordination and accountability did not meet expectations. Future clients should ensure design responsibility and execution standards are clearly defined before proceeding.

From the first meeting Lilla was always there to offer guidance and modern ideas and design; it was clear that she valued my business. I felt as though Lilla and Sebastian were invested in making sure everything went smoothly and that I got exactly what I had envisioned. Sebastian was able to work with my renovation time-line ensuring complete quality of workmanship. I was able to see my vision come to life with the 3-D drawings. From the first meeting to the finished kitchen, Lilla and Sebastian were pleasant to work with, very accommodating, friendly and extremely professional. I would highly recommend Bosky Inc. for anyone doing renovations!

I have been purchasing my home accessories from them for more than a couple of years now and it's sad to see they've closed their Toronto store, but I'm happy they have opened new ones. You can also order online and have your order delivered to your home or a store close by. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There's ample parking spaces available in the mall parking.

I actually haven't heard of them before or at least, didn't really notice. I found out that they're Canadian, family-owned, and female-owned interestingly enough. The online options were plentiful but I really wanted to be able to feel the quality of what they had. The store is pretty new in Mapleview and huge! It's split half half between kitchen and bedding. They have all manner of kitchenware and utensils, including small appliances. There's a lot of selection of everything and they usually have them out of the box so you can pick things up and get a feel for them. There were a lot of drink machines to choose from like espresso makers and carbonated water machines, including branded ones like Nespresso and SodaStream. They have a lot of collections and sets that you can coordinate between. There was ultimately a little too much selection as I needed a night to sleep on things lol.

Their prices are already very competitive for the quality they offer and they usually have even better discounts on their floor models. The current promotion is no tax on certain pieces. When the staff saw us looking through the book they helped us, but not in a pushy commission-earning sort of way. We ended up not finalizing our order elsewhere, as Joshua Creek was extremely helpful in helping us match chairs to our server and dining table. They not only explained how the ordering worked, but looked at our samples to suggest the best way to ensure we were able to match our maple and cherry furniture to our new chairs. The great thing too was we did not have to waste time and haggle on price. We had price shopped the Handstone chairs in numerous places and pricing varied greatly, and we were offered an extremely competitive and reasonable price right away. Our chairs arrived and were excellent, except for one. The stain and grain was substantially different. Joshua Creek took this as an opportunity to earn our loyalty in the future. Not only did they acknowledge the issue, but they picked up, sent back, and re-delivered a proper and fixed chair. In this day and age I find stellar service is hard to find, and it was great to have this taken care of. Although 6 chairs is not a big purchase compared to what some may buy, I appreciate they treated me as a valued customer and went above and beyond. I was extremely impressed to the point of deciding to write a review. I will certainly come back, if not for the quality then for the excellent customer service offered. I feel confident buying at a place like this which stands behind what they sell instead of simply taking your money and making you deal with concerns. The friendly and knowledgeable staff made it a great experience.
