Linen Chest offers great variety of home and kitchen accessories from coffee machines, dinnerware,…read morecutlery, baking equipment to bathroom mats, towels, curtains to beddings, sheets, pillows, and decorative items, etc. I have always loved their products and how colourful they are. I have been purchasing my home accessories from them for more than a couple of years now and it's sad to see they've closed their Toronto store, but I'm happy they have opened new ones. You can also order online and have your order delivered to your home or a store close by. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There's ample parking spaces available in the mall parking.

My main reason for coming to Mapleview was to check out this Linen Chest...but for kitchen stuff! I…read morewas looking online for oil and vinegar bottles that would take my kitchen to the next level. I came across Linen Chest as an option. I actually haven't heard of them before or at least, didn't really notice. I found out that they're Canadian, family-owned, and female-owned interestingly enough. The online options were plentiful but I really wanted to be able to feel the quality of what they had. The store is pretty new in Mapleview and huge! It's split half half between kitchen and bedding. They have all manner of kitchenware and utensils, including small appliances. There's a lot of selection of everything and they usually have them out of the box so you can pick things up and get a feel for them. There were a lot of drink machines to choose from like espresso makers and carbonated water machines, including branded ones like Nespresso and SodaStream. They have a lot of collections and sets that you can coordinate between. There was ultimately a little too much selection as I needed a night to sleep on things lol.

BEWARE - THE EMPLOYEES AT THE BURLINGTON LOCATION ARE INVOLVED IN A SCAM!…read more I was interested in purchasing a couch from the Burlington store and had been in direct communication with the Assistant Manager regarding it who tried to scam me out of $1,000 by attempting to get me to use a gift card towards my purchase when in fact, she never possessed any such gift card to begin with! I wrote the EQ3 Head Office an extremely detailed email outlining my experience and forwarding my entire chain of communication with the Assistant Store Manager (fortunately I had everything in writing) only to receive the following response: "Thank you very much for sending the below message and bringing this to our attention. The loss prevention manager is aware and is currently investigating. We appreciate you taking the time to provide us with the below details and apologize for any and all inconvenience you have experienced." Dealing with EQ3 has not only been an incredibly frustrating experience but also a fantastic waste of time. The cherry on top is that the Loss Prevention Manager is not even bothered enough to contact me personally regarding the entire experience. Abysmal customer service - STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

We came into the store over 3 weeks ago with these limited edition Mari Mekko pillows which cost…read moreover 200$ for a set of two. Within 1 month the pillows were pilling and the zipper seams were splitting/tearing and they were in terrible shape. The woman in the store (this was a Thursday evening) was shocked and said that this definitely should not happen in one month and that she would get a full refund or store credit ( we were fine with both), however she was unable to process the refund that night as the manager was not in the store. She took pictures of our receipt and of the pillows defects and told us the manager would be in touch the following day. It's not been over 3 weeks and no one has been in touch and I have called EQ3 Burlington and left a voicemail for the manager. This is absolutely unacceptable given the amount of money we spent on these pillows, clearly the price does not reflect the quality, as the sale clerk agreed. I'd like a full refund for the pillows.

Go Somewhere else!!! Today John Andrew Lokert came by and it wasn't pleasant. He started off by…read moreyelling at me telling me that I was a cheap b^%%&d, that I if I wanted done like that I should do it myself. After much exchange that didn't go well, I told him that he shouldn't be doing plumbing and that the work that was completed, was so far below par that it was laughable. He seems to think that paying almost $4000 for this work, wasn't enough. We were quoted $2100 and ended up at close to $4000, because of this extra pipe which he made us think that was fixed correctly. The 10-15ft of pipe and elbow represents approx $50-100 in parts, not sure how we got up to close to $4000. But it was paid! We called him back because of the 5 yr Warranty, but that was him YELLING for 3-5 minutes at me trying to scream enough where I would want him out. He kept yelling at the top of his voice that I should be fired and that I didn't know what I was talking about, unfortunately he doesnt know who hes talking to 1) I'm the Client and 2) The owner of the building. I've attached pictures to hear your thoughts of this workmanship. I love the Electrical tape which I think is Master Plumber 101, "Things not to do" also has NO Hangers, to support the weight of the water in the pipe, NOT EVEN an apprentice would do such HORRIBLE WORK!! Pipe held up by Electrical tape.

From A Very Old and Dated 1999 Master En Suite...To My Dream Bathroom…read more It is said the first place potential buyers look when viewing a property, is the kitchen and the bathrooms. The two most important areas of any house for most people. Both in terms of efficiency, looks and investment. In June 2018 I visited Ewelina at Kitchen & Bathroom Galleries in Burlington to ask if she cold help me put together a plan for the renovation of our old En Suite, which was in dire needs of updating. Everything was builder's grade and showing the signs of wear and tear. Over the course of several months, Ewelina and I selected and purchased all the fixtures and fittings along with the various extras that we will benefit from as we age in our home. I cannot over emphasize how important it is to take some time to look at the various websites out there which can help you determine what you really like e.g. Houzz, Pinterest etc. It will help your designer focus upon your style and of course budget. Once all the components were purchased and ready for delivery...then the Contractors (Wesly and Sebastian in my case) were able to begin demolition of the old bathroom. Demolition Day is an unbelievably quick process. Especially when you are in the hands of two guys who have plenty of practice and experience under their belt. The amount of preparation that goes into the planning stage once demolition is complete, will at this point in time pay dividends. There are a million and one variables that go into achieving the final result and every single detail counts. Lots of measuring, calculating, verification and consultation. Before demolition begins, Wes and Sebastian will cover any furniture and protect your belongings by covering any open areas, blinds or flooring. Anywhere that could be affected by the dust that will ensue once demolition and renovation begins. They also change into indoor shoes when they arrive each morning. And clear up each evening before they leave. This was a thoughtful gesture which I appreciated. Your life will be upside down for the next little while! That I can guarantee. Electrical installations are handled separately (by Anatoly in my case) at various stages of the project. This is determined by the progress and stages completed by the Contractors. An Electrical Inspection is officially made to the home both during electrical installation and for final inspection at the end of the project. One more tradesperson who contributed towards my project was Frank, who took the template measurements for the two 9' tall glass panels in my shower stall. The installers, Ali and Jashan (?) who were incredible at handling the sturdy glass (but glass nevertheless!) during installation. Each and every person who played an important role in my renovation has to be commended for their professionalism. I must not forget Igor who templated the quartz countertop and backsplash. You can be rest assured the people who K & B Galleries assign to your project are very passionate about what they do. Including the showroom staff (Ewelina and Lara). I would highly recommend Kitchen and Bathroom Galleries - Burlington based upon my personal experience. Thank you to everyone who helped create My Dream Bathroom. A special mention to John Lokert for over-seeing progress every step of the way.
