Fantastic outdoor antique market located in Guelph pretty much right off of the 401. It's opened…read morefrom the end of April to the end of October - RAIN OR SHINE. The vendors here have a beautiful collection of their antiques, set up in extremely artsy ways. I highly recommend going in fall - the feel of the market is just perfect; walking along antique shops while being surrounded by bright colourful leaves on the outskirts of the market. There are tons of parking spaces. When you go in, it's $2 per adult. The outside of the market is set up with vendors under tents (similar to the ones you'll see at St. Jacobs market. Keep walking though, and when you reach the centre of the Aberfoyle Antique Market, you will be amazed at the space; each vendor has their own design to their space. There are Saturday special shows every year; this costs $8 for admission, but they have added the amount of vendors in the space, making it more worthwhile to come! The food stalls here smell delicious - definitely worth the trip if you ask me!

There's a first time for everything and for $5 you can see for yourself! The Aberfoyle Antique…read moreMarket has a huge array of shops and goods to peruse. There were all kinds of items from glass dishes, to dolls, records, furniture, clothes, collectibles, metal tools, books all sorts of things. Prices were reasonable. I could spend all day looking around. There were a few cafe and snack stand options. The cafe had some seating and some a lineup when we were there on a Sunday afternoon. We sat in an outdoor patio area with tables and umbrellas - it was very nice to have a place to rest and have a coffee. I would definitely come here again.

Horrible customer service, one of the owners, Margie, regulated her business only in her advantage…read more- as a consumer, no any rights even if you end up with a cabinet what literally falls apart on the day of delivery, my other peaces were delivered dusty and with a crumbs and garbage inside the drawers regardless of me kindly asking the owner to clean the furniture before delivery.. From consignment point of view, even worst - you will be forced to put up with waiting for your own money even over a month peace is sold bcs " they do not have time to deal with all invoices at all the time" Margie forced me to re- consign the table which I paid for and realized that is to big for our new place .. she made double commotion on it All I asked was to bay different table ... Ancient computer system, endless wait to get paper Invoice... Rude owners and stuff, entitled and make you feel you should be grateful they are doing business with you ..

Do not consign your furniture to this store. I left 2 identical upholstered chairs with them with…read morethe understanding that they would do the pricing research and sell both. They sold both within 2 days to the same person:one for $377 the other for $30! When I called them on it their response was that one chair was filthy and ,in the end ,they set the prices. The chair was not filthy; it was checked on arrival and deemed along with the other to be suitable for sale. My question is why did they not contact me to tell me that they were discounting the chair by over 90% vs it's mate. It's no wonder the chairs sold so quickly when such a drastic discount was offered, again without my knowledge. Be very careful to get a confirmed price BEFORE you leave your things here for consignment. Or, better still, don't leave them.
