It could have been my luck. I visited the handbags. Nothing appealed to me. I spotted the lone Kipling backpack hanging on the wall. It didn't have its signature gorilla on it. Sad. The finding that was even more tragic was going to the women's shoe section. I shop at Winners because it has size 11 shoes and typically a fairly decent selection. This store had a whopping four pairs of footwear. I stood there, looked at all four pairs, and moved on. I will say that the kitchen accessories were pretty good. Same goes for the snacks. The phone accessories were fine. I liked the cases for Airpods that also come with a ring. When I'm back again, I'll give this store another tour. Perhaps it was an off weekend. I didn't realize until I got to the drug store that this closest one to my hotel was a part of a shopping mall. I don't visit malls all that often these days because they are a death trap as far as time and spending go. I am a shopper at heart and can spent hours at one. It was exactly what I did last weekend. From the outside, you can certainly tell which part was the original mall and which wing is relatively new. I looked at the new wing and it looked like it was detached from the mall. Nope, you can walk every part of it indoors without freezing outside in the wintertime. The store has a good selection of stores. It has many of my favourites, such as Winners, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Showcase, DAVIDs Tea, SoftMoc, Showcase, and Shoppers Drug Mart. There are plenty of places to sit down if you are too pooped to shop. The target shopper seems to be folks 60 years of age and higher, which could explain all the places for folks to sit down, chat with friends, and enjoy a beverage. Although I'm not in that demographic, it sounds pretty good to me! Signs are clearly displayed to help guide you around the mall. There is free wifi if you do need to connect online. There is a food court. I didn't eat there, but there are many options to choose from. And, yes, there's a Timmy's to get your double-double fix on. I had lunch at Sunset Grill on my final day in Hamilton. It was Family Day and this mall was closed. However, Sunset Grill has its own entrance at this mall, so I was happy to have lunch here. I used one of the women's washrooms at this mall last Saturday. It was clean and maintained frequently. It's a good mall if you want something smaller than Lime Ridge Mall, but has pretty much everything you need. I'd return to shop here again. (76)

I needed to get some cash and visited a Scotiabank branch. I noticed that there were a bunch of box…read morestores around, including Giant Tiger. I needed some lunch, so I drove over to a restaurant to take care of my hunger. After my stomach was full, I worked it off by coming over to this Giant Tiger. There is a ton of parking in this plaza. I found a spot pretty close to the store's main entrance and walked in. This store is massive. I spent a good chunk of time here. Each Giant Tiger is different. This one has one of the better grocery sections. I found my favourite bagged cereal on sale. There were many frozen food aisles. I even saw Deep 'n Delicious cakes from my childhood. I wanted to get one, but knew that I could devour one in a sitting and decided to put it down. The fresh produce section is great. I saw everything from Sunkist navel oranges to celery. Valentine's Day had just past. All chocolates and merchandise were on sale. This store doesn't miss a beat with its Easter merchandise, though! I paid for my items with a debit card. The lineup was a bit long, but not horrible for a Saturday afternoon. Staff here are helpful and friendly. I like this Giant Tiger. I'd come back again when I'm in the neighbourhood. (77)

Mind you he is underaged but this was unneeded as he was not purchasing. We described this to the woman. (Who remains unknown as her name was not released after contacting the store location) I consulted several friends who work at the beer store/LCBO and they found this unprofessional and against regulation. As he did not touch or have the intent to purchase. We usually go to the LCBO and my brother comes with us and never gets IDed. They understand how to follow guidelines and are trained properly. I would like the staff to be trained in this fashion so this does not happen to another customer. Granted this is Walmart and I should expect poor service but this is unacceptable.

The manager came out and also said something along the lines of "I need money from your kind of people". The young lady was a small business owner just inquiring about buying in bulk. After all this the young lady decided to return the items she bought but the manager refused to give her a receipt. I am not sure why, but the young lady had to call the police. She video taped this horrible interaction so I hope she shares this experience as well. It is really sad to see a large business like this displaying racism to customers.

He shoved a screwdriver in the rotor and moved the star notch 5 times, probably did more on the side I didn't see & sure enough my rotors heated up on the way home & I had to do the adjustment myself. Pretty sure they're warped. What a pathetic place. Don't give a f#^k about people's property. I just couldn't stop looking at everything so unique and beautiful. Everything from unique jewellery and stuffed gnomes for my grandson. The women's apparel was current and mostly one-size-fits-all. How lucky for me! I chose a sweater among many in a style I found to be so unique. Then I purchased a beautiful necklace as an accessory. (Of course I had to purchase something for myself!). The store owner was there and was so helpful putting outfits together with matching accessories. I couldn't have done it without her. There were many unique craft items as well and children gifts to choose from. Pictures and cushions, rings and scarve - something for everyoneI could have spent hours in there! I purchased a beautiful birthday card as well and the store manager wrapped it all up so fancifully for me at no charge. I believe I spent what it was worth for sure. Now that I have had a taste of McGee's Landing I will be sure to make this my "go to" place for all my gifts.
