I just couldn't stop looking at everything so unique and beautiful. Everything from unique jewellery and stuffed gnomes for my grandson. The women's apparel was current and mostly one-size-fits-all. How lucky for me! I chose a sweater among many in a style I found to be so unique. Then I purchased a beautiful necklace as an accessory. (Of course I had to purchase something for myself!). The store owner was there and was so helpful putting outfits together with matching accessories. I couldn't have done it without her. There were many unique craft items as well and children gifts to choose from. Pictures and cushions, rings and scarve - something for everyoneI could have spent hours in there! I purchased a beautiful birthday card as well and the store manager wrapped it all up so fancifully for me at no charge. I believe I spent what it was worth for sure. Now that I have had a taste of McGee's Landing I will be sure to make this my "go to" place for all my gifts. It's well worth visiting but don't expect to get out of this one-of-a-kind shop anytime soon! Well done McGee's and Stoney Creek for allowing this jewel of a store into our neighbourhood!

I brought my Canada goose jacket in here last week. I took the hood off to avoid having the fur…read morewashed as that could be ruined. I asked if it would look the exact same after cleaning, I was advised it would ofcourse. I get my coat back and it looks flat and feathers looks like they are missing in certain sections of the coat. Literally when I put the coat on I look like a hunch back as feathers were bunched on upper back and missing from mid back. They take it back after I complain and give it back to me in the same shape. Naresh the owner looks the coat over and tells me nothing is wrong with the coat and it's suppose to look like that after a wash. The feathers flatten out. Tells me he won't do anything and no compensation will be discussion. He cuts me off, doesn't let me talk and insists nothing is wrong with the coat even though clearly by the look alone you can tell it's ruined. This individual is completely unreasonable. I could even show pictures of this coat showing its state for anyone thinking of coming here. Will be Pursuing the matter with bbb as well as other avenues based on how I've been dealt with. Btw this coat was $950 with tax and only 1 year old and never cleaned before this so I know it was in perfect shape prior. Stay far away from this place and this chain as naresh is a con man.

The quality is ok, it's not gonna fall apart in 2 weeks, but won't last you a while either. The people are very nice, always greet you with a smile. However one thing I don't quite like is, at the front of the store they have clothes that are one color, and then the rest of the store has the same clothes just different colors...so I never bother looking through the whole store because there's no point if there's nothing of interest at the front of the store. They repeat clothing from the front of the store to the back just with different colors, so that's too bad, because when you look at it that way there's not much of a selection. I wish they had more of a selection of clothes. but it's not bad, especially if you're on a budget and want something nice. (all opinions are from my OWN experience)

My husband and I had the worst experience at this tailor shop . You would think with all the years…read moreof experience that they keep telling people they have it should have been a breeze spending $2000.00 on a custom made suit and made to measure shirt . When my husband returned for a fitting he was insulted regarding his body shape and was very uncomfortable. We were assured when we first went in that they could have his Custom made suit done in time for a wedding we were attending. The day before the wedding I had heard nothing so I drove to the store and to was informed that the suit was not ready and not even in the store . They told me purolator was supposed to deliver the Jacket (Which had been sent out for finishing ?) I thought the work was done on the premises!!! They called me the next day , the day of our function and said they were going to deliver it to our home ,the sales man that I dealt with dropped it off my husband tried on the jacket and he left ! We were in a crazy rush to get dressed and make it to the wedding . 1st the CUSTOM MADE shirt did not button up at the neck but regardless he did up the tie and tried to hide the fact it did not button up , quickly put on the pants and we had to leave , only to realize when we got to the wedding the pants were way too long. I went back to the tailors and all I got was a shocking mouth full of abuse from the older owner who refused to give me a detailed invoice . He kept telling me I was a dishonest person ( even though I paid the $2000.00 plus for the suit and shirt) My husband and I also have been in business for 48 years and would never ever treat our customers in this manner ! The sales person that measured and assured us everything would be done and ready had absolutely nothing to say when I was there stating that he was just an employee. This place is one of those hidden gems you hear about. Spoke with the owner in length on how long he has been in the community. It's great to see his loyalty to the surrounding area and I hope this business continue to thrive. Will be heading to Stoney Creek Tailors for my next suit purchase.
