    once again they strike a few weeks ago i had work done on my car tire rotation and i wrote a review…read moreabout being charged the 3% by using a charge card that done but yesterday my tire sencer was saying i have a low tire ,i checked them, and filled them ,what i found out was i had two plastic tire valve covers, and the two nice metal ones i ha on the car now the only person who worked on my car was Pohanka Honda. now it shows what type of techs they have there, look people make mistakes if you lost the two good ones replace them dont try to pull a fast one on me thinking the customer wont find out. this was the last straw i need a brake job im going to have a mom and pop place do my brakes,i need some tire work dont for that leak not going to them, and next year 2026 im going to buy my new car from price. in dover.and i dont care about the 3% anymore i was going to go back to Pohanka. but not after this i dont what other short cuts they do? just why couldnt the be honest i know its only valve caps its the principal i was in the car business for a very long time and not once i can live with myself if i did something like that always be honest. check out your care carefully

I went to the dealer across the street first and he almost sent me out of there crying so I was really hesitant, but I couldn't deal with my car nickle and diming me anymore so I decided to give this place a try. When I first met George Merritt, he immediately put me at ease. I cannot speak highly about him! He never pressured me into buying something out of my price range or needs. He was funny and nice and easy going. Being a single mom at the time one of the first things he said about the car he found for me was, "its safe and reliable and also has a big seat for the kids." WOW! and he even found a way for me to trade in my car for more than I thought I would get! He has become more than my car salesman, I consider him my friend. After I got married I came in with my husband (who was also hesitant because he has had bad experiences in the past) But he was quickly reassured and we purchased another vehicle that suited our growing family more and my husband immediately thought he was great! George Merritt has an ongoing customer for life. My husband and I wont go anywhere else and neither will my kids when they reach the age to drive. Ask for George Merritt, you will not be disappointed!

    Worst service experience I've ever had--and it comes down to repeated dishonesty…read more I do not live in the Salisbury area. I am 10 hours away by car. In the middle of January while in Salisbury my son saw the engine light come on. It was immediately taken to Pohanka Jeep where they instructed him to go to the Pohanka Mercedes dealership. After about a week I was quoted $2,993.45 to fix my Alfa Romeo Stelvio. I authorized them to order the parts and make the repair which they said would take about a week. Here's what happened next: * I called on Saturday 1/31/26 and was notified via text that the parts were in (they weren't) and it would be ready the following Monday, Tuesday at the latest (it wasn't) * The next Wednesday 2/4/26 when I called to check on the repairs I was told that the parts just came in and it would be ready the following Monday, Tuesday at the latest (it wasn't) * I called Thursday 2/5/26 and again Friday 2/6/26 and left messages and was eventually told the repair would be finished by an Alfa certified technician the following Monday, Tuesday by the latest (it wasn't) My son, still there in Salisbury had a medical issue, was hospitalized and needed additional care so I decided to drive the 10 hours to pick up my son and car--only to find out upon arrival on Wednesday 2/11/26 it hadn't even been touched. I offered to pay for the parts and ship the car myself back to my hometown. The service reps convinced me that the repair would be taken care of immediately and lead me to believe that they would ship the car once repaired. The following week on Tuesday 2/17/26 I was told the car was ready for pick up and the price for the repair was suddenly $5,500+. They never called to advise me of any additional repair costs. After pushing back, it was dropped to $3,682.80. Pushed back again and it changed to $3,154.74. Finally, after weeks, it was lowered closer to the original quote. I was also told that if I wanted it shipped it would be an additional $850. After all that happened, I felt the need to physically see and drive the car. Monday 3/30/26 I arrived at the dealership to test drive and pay for the repair. I was previously told by the service rep he test drove it for 15 miles (it wasn't). I was also told I would be test driving the car with the Alfa-certified technician (he wasn't). I could go on and on. I understand that sometime things go wrong that create delays. What I don't understand is being misled over and over again. If you choose to use this dealership for repairs I would suggest you proceed with extreme caution.
